    Barkbuster install- Yikes
    Shaun R.

Wow- Did I pick the wrong dealer to order a bike from- Had money down on a bike for a couple months. Most calls to these folks usually ended in a runaround without any info and or call back- Fun. Kept tracking delivery of the KTM without much info but was told I would get a heads up 4-5 days before the bike arrived of course this did not happen as I had to find out after the fact . So anyways I did finally get an OTD door invoice after more calls, folks here just don't seem to really want to move bikes, I actually don't know what they do but do know that lots of days the people that write your invoice wont be around to answer questions or problem solve. So we set a bike pick-up day, I communicate them well in advance that I would be coming down with a rented trailer and will have final payment and be ready to off into the sunset- Showed up to a brand new bike with scratches and a hacked on barkbuster install. With the wind now out of my sail, my confidence level with the service dept setup is at about a negative ten, I get some guy who doesn't introduce himself and walks me thru what they can do to fix the issues. Fine, Fine - I said ok cool- Guy comes back 10 minutes later "well we have more bad news" KTM issued a vin recall to check out some screws and the bike is locked and they have no further info and can not release/sell the bike. I get this is not the dealers fault but I have information from other riders getting the same bike on the same day with the recall lock, that had dealers actually get the needed fix and performed that work same day so folks could leave with bikes in hand. The concept of customer service is so lacking at this joint its not even funny. Then moving into the next week without a bike again its me begging them to get any info regarding the recall so I can actually get the bike. Phone calls went south, spoke to ownership and the guy just goes off into left field with a completely different version of what went on thru all of this and just starts making things up and saying I have been unreasonable and attacking people and saying I love to argue ? WTF. At the end he says we will sell this bike to someone else and refund your money. Is this the kind of place you would ever want to work with ? Me thinks not, save yourself the mental cruelty and shop anywhere else but here. Yowsa- So glad to be picking up my bike next week from another dealer-)

Walked in with cash in hand to buy a new bike and no one even greeted us or came to talk and show us around.

Website says they work on all kinds of bike. They don't even do oil changes on Honda's, so that clearly isn't the case.

The entire staff and buying experience was incredible and is now my favorite dealership. I've been riding and buying Harley's for almost 60 years and have never been treated better. I used to recommend this place to everyone I know. Unfortunately, after my last visit, that's over. While I was there, one of the employees -- I didn't catch his name, but he has a Harley logo with wings tattooed on his hand and a tattoo on the side of his head -- made extremely inappropriate and racially offensive comments right in front of me. I was stunned. If an employee feels comfortable saying something like that in front of a customer, I can only imagine what's being said when customers aren't around. That's not just unprofessional -- it's unacceptable. I've spent thousands of dollars here over the years, but after this, I can't continue supporting a business that allows this kind of behavior to happen on the floor. I truly hope management takes this seriously and addresses it immediately, because situations like this damage customer trust and the store's reputation.

Not the most organized or clean or shiny place on the planet, in fact it's the patina that really gives it the charm. No, it's not that part that makes it difficult. It's the part where you try to separate the shop from the owner. In the end, you just can't separate Caesar's from Caesar. Caesar is a larger than life character whose eclectic life and personality just oozes out of his shop. He's been a fixture in Midvale City there on State Street and a giant in the SLC motorcycle community. As an outsider to that community, even I know who the guy is. Visit. Meet him. You won't forget it. In fact, he's such a big personality that he's been immortalized by UDOT. Next time you go underneath the TRAX bridge at about 7900 South on State Street, look over on the east side of the road to the concrete wall. There are cut metal art pieces depicting Midvale's past like the old Sharon Steel site. At about the middle of the concrete you'll see a dude on an old school bicycle (the kind where you sit atop a giant wheel) and he has a parrot on his shoulder. That's an homage to Caesar, who has been known to ride an old school bicycle with a parrot on his shoulder. So yes, do check out the shop. But at this point know that it's as much about the "Caesar" in the title as it is about the "Motorcyle Parts & Service" part.
