The store is located in an office park, and I must admit that I find the location superb for a yarn-o-holic like myself. It is quiet with ample parking making it perfect for an open knitting session with your friends :-) Though I also find that little yarn nooks in commercial districts are super cute too. They just have this cool nerdy chic way of standing out. Apart from Madeline Tosh, Yarn Culture carries indie yarns not available to other Local Yarn Stores as covered on the previous review. This was such a cute event, and the ornaments were reasonably priced. I joined a Knit-a-long in 2019 and, through group encouragement and great advice, finished my first sweater. While the pandemic certainly changed things, I will fondly recall evening project sessions at the shop, comparing progress, laughing and chatting with a small group. Jean has a nice selection of yarns for the size of the shop and is often happy to order items she may not carry in store. She went above and beyond when things were shut down doing deliveries in town right to people's doorsteps. Wooly Minded is an absolute gem!
