I stumbled upon Honest Auto Repair center while I was cruising down Pembroke Rd. I had just bought an used 2006 IE350 F-Sport Lexus with almost 130k miles and wanted to make sure that everything was in tick-tock shape since it was a rather large purchase. I had Shon diagnostic the car and he checked it out thoroughly and fully before sending me on my way. He checked all of the fluids and all of that mechanic stuff and made sure the car was good to go. Fast forward a few months later, I was driving the car when it completely stalled out on me. Nothing was working and even a jump start wouldn't fix it. I called up Shon and told him about the problem and had the car towed to his shop. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a bad alternator. It had gone out and was in need to be replaced. Within a few hours he has the alternator replaced with an OEM one and the car was working yet again. The battery did not need to be changed and everything was working how it used to. Maybe I messed up by buying a 2006 Lexus but at least it's good to know that Shon has me covered if anything. read more

Very professional owner, my daughter called me in a panic saying that her car was overheating, I told her to pull off the road and wait until it cools down, in the meantime I called a shop that was near her and asked if my daughter can drive to him so he can see what was wrong, he said sure and gave me his name so she would know who to ask for, I called my daughter back and told her where to go which was about 2 mins away from where she was, I stayed on the phone until she got there and Shon was standing outside waiting for her to get there, he treated her like his own daughter, fixed the problem, which was the cooling fan connector, it took him about 1 hr to repair and he didn't even charge her anything. I called him to say thanks for helping her out, he said no problem, its not always about the money, your daughter was upset and she needed help. These guys are the most honest mechanics out there! I have gone to them twice with my hyndai sonata. The first time I left it with them overnight so they can try and recreate a issue I was having with my idle. They couldn't find anything wrong with my car and didn't charge me a dime. The gentleman in the front office suggested I take it to Hyndai because these cars have issues. Turns out I needed an entirely new engine under warranty! I brought it back to them on Wednesday with a check engine light. They gave me a great price and fixed the issue the next day in 30 min. My car has been running like new since! I'm very particular about who I let work on my cars. However, I had just received wheel spacers for my corvette Z06 and a friend recommended this spot. Turns out, the owner is just as a meticulous guy as I am and knows how to work on customized cars. He carefully got my car (which sits just about two inches from the ground) up on the lift without damaging anything. In order to install the 20 mm hubcentric spacers, all my studs required cutting which he did very well. In less than an hour my car was back on the ground and to top it off, the prices was on point.
