After being told that Fletcher H&A was the provider, I looked up reviews and was hesitant based on the bad reviews. However, my experience was great. I placed my order on Thursday morning, and Dakota was here by 10 Friday morning. As it turned out, after he did a little trouble shooting, he determined that he needed to go under the house. This is where he found that the pressure switch had become undone. It was a simple fix, and I was good to go.

Seemed fine, except now a year or two later that unit is already leaking freon again, and for some reason that three other companies can't figure out, air is colder in one set of ducts off that unit than the other, and this only started happening after this Fletcher job. 2nd issue - they replaced a dead furnace (motherboard part was bad and too old to be replaced). Except the unit doesn't always come on in extreme cold. They assured me the unit would come on under any conditions. Brought a couple tech's out and they couldn't solve the problem. We lived with space heaters on that floor through the winter. 3rd issue -- got to summer with that new unit and the cold isn't coming on -- AT ALL. Fletcher comes back out and diagnoses that the wires at the furnace end weren't sending signals all the way through to the condenser end. They could not diagnose it and tried all six wires (since I only needed two). No explanation. CEO comes out to double check and has the same answer. Their only solution was to sell me a $600 (out of pocket, warranty won't cover) wireless box so the furnace could communicate with the condenser, which never had problems before Fletcher started doing work in my house. I call my regular guy to get his opinion, he comes out, and in 10 minutes fixes it -- Fletcher had disconnected the wires. He reconnected them and suddenly my unit cools like a charm. 4th issue -- I call my usual guy out for regular maintenance. He finds: (1) a leaking coil (measurable and locatable) in one unit that Fletcher has never touched before -- but it's old and this is a problem that eventually comes up. (2) He finds broken and mis-installed pipes in the new Fletcher furnace described in step 2 above -- appx $1000 out of pocket repair job (no way am I calling Fletcher back under a warranty claim). I wonder if this will resolve my heater issues with this unit -- I'll find out this winter. (3) The coil that Fletcher installed as described in issue #1 above is now leaking freon again too, but he can't find the leak. Another "mystery" issue on a system Fletcher installed/repaired. 5th issue -- based on the new leaking coil discovered by my good tech team in the previous issue, I call my warranty company and place the claim, and specifically write "Do not send Fletcher." So my warranty company sends Fletcher. The usual tech comes -- who, btw is always VERY nice, and appears to be helpful and knowledgeable -- explains he can find and measure the leak, so he agrees, it's there. But because I had the system refilled the prior month when my tech discovered the leak, he has to report that it has enough freon in it, but he will explain the situation to the warranty so that the warranty company should still approve the claim. Two weeks go by -- nothing from the warranty company. I login and the claim shows as "resolved". I call up the warranty go, they say they need to hear from Fletcher and will chase them down. 2 more weeks go by, nothing. I call warranty co again, they call Fletcher with me on hold, and then come back and say "The receptionist at Fletcher said she closed it because your system has freon in it and is blowing cold air." So I have to re-explain the whole issue and the warranty company decides to send me a new tech, to restart the eval -- because Flether's internal communications broke down -- just like everything they install, apparently.

They did a quick system check and noticed freon was not low and like it should be if there was a true leak and I was told did not need to spend $3000.00 on a new coil unit !!! After further discussions, we identified that this Airbnb was having the coil freeze due to renters lowering the temperature to 50°. After a quick adjustment to all thermostats and only pay $128 I am so thankful for honest companies!! Highly recommend Heritage and this will be my go to company from now on!!!!

He replaced a capacitor. I then asked what do I owe you. First price was $561. My jaw dropped. He said wait I made a mistake, then the price was $504. On his invoice, he has $127 for a service fee and capacitor was $379. Nothing about labor. I expected at worse a $300 bill. He said that the capacitor was around $89 and the had to get paid for putting the any part. I have tried to get a better explanation than what he gave me but I paid $379 for capacitor. That equals a 400% markup, using his example. Oh by the way, by looking on line for the part for my ac, the most expensive capacitor I could find was $49. Called them a third time, came back within two hours, found underlying issue that caused original problem. Fixed it wife is happy now! Best of all bolt charged one service call for three trips out! Supper honest and they care about results! They have all my HVAC and plumbing service!

He's quick to arrive and goes above and beyond. When we had to have our unit replaced due to the old one finally dying, he fixed up the old unit (which had a leak) and a couple other issues to get it working because the new unit had to be ordered and he didn't want us without air before the new ac arrived. He's replaced two units for me and one for a friend. He even submitted my extended warranty forms for the units in case they break. If you're looking for a new unit, he's the way to go vs the big guys.
