This company scrubs all of their 1 star reviews and makes fake 5 star reviews. Poor customer service and the lady I spoke with was very uneducated about the business itself. I couldn't get vital info from her, nor did she seem to understand what I needed! Rude and entitled. I'll be surprised if this isn't taken down BUT if you do see this....... Affordable Heating and Air is hands down the BEST HVAC company I have ever worked with. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, they were responsive and scheduled me quickly. I have 2 huge systems for my house so it was no easy job. The technicians arrived promptly and were extremely knowledgeable and professional. We were without heat so this was a lifesaver. They were able to quickly diagnose issues with my HVAC system and provided me with a very reasonable quote. The work was completed efficiently and the guys are super knowledgeable and friendly. I found this company on their website and Joss Moss the owner of the company came out to review my situation. I am pleased to say that while my job was challenging, at my request, they changed out all the ductwork and moved the condenser to a different spot. Their price was very competitive, but the quality of their work was way above what I expected. I have never seen such a neat installation of ductwork and my crawl space looks great. Josh and the team were very professional and are honest to the core. I recommend these guys for any type of AC work. Plan on using them again in the future. read more

AFHC Teams have been at our home for several trips in the process of undoing what a Home Warranty Service messed up and replacing all our duct work. They have been professional and talented in the diagnostics of the issues. They were fairly priced for the high quality of work they preformed. The Duct Work Team led by Ever was amazingly efficient in the time they spent here and were very considerate of time the system would be down. Chris, Chuck and Josh made time to stop off during the process (we live in Carthage so we weren't close by) and ensure the job was running smooth and appropriately being completed. These will be the only folks that service my HVAC needs going forward. We have signed up for their maintenance plan to ensure the proper care of the system. As for our HVAC we have had considerable work done on it over the past year, and at every step Airstream was honest, professional, and transparent with their pricing while respecting our budget and time. After the 2026 winter storm, we found that the system had been taxed significantly and Airstream has worked with us over the past few months to get it back into tip-top shape for the summer heat. Each time the work has been done efficiently and with minimal interference in our daily activities and minimal stress on our our pets. I don't even know where to start. My HVAC is only 3 years old and hasn't given us any problem. I…read morecalled Solace to schedule a tune-up. Nothing fancy; just clean and check the unit for the summer. That's when they came to my house and told me that my unit had over five problems, including leaking refrigerant, bad capacitors, electrical work, etc. Funny enough, their first quote was for 8k, which was to "fix these terrible problems." However, they gave me another crazier solution, to get a brand new unit, which was only 2 tons for a small house for 11k. Kid, you not. I went and got a second opinion, and as I suspected, my HVAC connections weren't the prettiest, but had no problems. The other HVAC professional also found out that they only cleaned a portion of the unit, so he installed a new disconnect, re-did my drain line, sealed my flashing, and rewashed my unit for $600 bucks. Do it at your own risk. I have never seen something like this, not even when I used to live in NY they tried to upcharge me like that.

Proctor and Graves bid came in at around HALF of other bids; yes, you heard that right HALF of other bids, but here's the real value on that. The HALF of other bids was on superior equipment/manufactor according to Consumer Reports. The HALF price was on an American Standard when other's were bidding double there cost on low-end GOODMAN systems. The work was done on time, with installers who were careful and courteous and the clean up and removal of old equipment was accomplished all within a span of a few hours. Anyone in or around the north and east side of Nashville would be well served to have this company bid your major A/C work. Oh, and let me add. Their service fee of $69? That's $20 LESS than the company I've used previously in the Gallatin/Hendersonville area.

I recommended Josh with Affordable Heating and Cooling to a second person recently. I recommended him once before to a friend and she was very happy with her service. Josh installed a brand new unit for me within the last 6 months , approximately, and my experience was outstanding! ***I did property management on Music Row for about 15 years, overseeing 5 commercial buildings and three residential homes. I am used to hiring contractors. I didn't know Josh then, but I know the difference between bad, mediocre and outstanding work and Josh and his team are outstanding. In response to a gentleman's review, named Mark, Josh's wife does the scheduling and is very nice. She is not a contractor or technician herself so she may need to have Josh call someone back if they have technical questions. I don't know what happened but this entire crew is very nice and very honest and authentic. They are the best of the best! I did my due diligence and got quotes and met with others. Josh's price was the best and he and his whole crew are very knowledgeable. I was impressed and will continue to use them. When they were here installing my unit, I was listening to what they were saying and paying attention and I was impressed with how well they knew their job. This is the best air conditioning company I have ever worked with. They are better than anyone I have ever used, even when I was in property management. Affordable Heating and Cooling came out quickly, diagnosed the issue and fixed it promptly. Had we had a maintenance plan, we would have avoided our ac problem. They did not upsell a maintenance plan, I just remembered we had one with a different company years ago and asked if they offered a similar plan. Gladly signing up for their maintenance plan which I found reasonable. Now they will come twice a year for upkeep and we can avoid further issues. I also appreciate they did not inflate the issue and just say replace your unit. We had a different company tell us that about 5 years ago. This company did exactly what they said they would do. Quoted me over the phone for a thermostat replacement. If it wasnt more than that it would be a price. The HVAC guy was great and within the time quoted and checked the system and found no other issues. He did his diligence and all was fine and it indeed was the thermostat. Checked the whole HVAC system found the cause replaced the part and all great.
