Always my favorite for its chaats and many other items. However in my experience they aren't always careful with orders meaning if you tell Me to customize they often get it wrong. I ordered pani puri and dahi puri for pick up, no onions. Specified it twice. They repeated the order to me. However, when I got home, guess what I found - onions! I called back and this time the owner picked up the phone and offered to deliver a replacement for free. I wasn't looking for that but sooooo appreciate the apology and the offer to make it right! Incredible food packed with flavor! This was my second visit, and once again, it did not disappoint. We visited as a group of six and sampled a wide variety of dishes--and every single one was a hit. From the Manchow soup and Dahi Puri to the KGF sandwich, Pav Bhaji, sizzler, Hara Bhara Kebab, Chilli Naan, and Paneer Butter Masala, each dish was exceptional. We wrapped up the meal with the Kesar Pista Falooda, which was the perfect ending. We left with full stomachs and even fuller hearts. Heads up for people visiting this place: it's not just vegetarian, but caters to Jain vegetarians who have stringent standards including a prohibition on garlic and onion. My sense from the menu is that the restaurant can and does make stuff with onions and garlic on request, but if you don't ask for it you'll find that things may not taste how you expect. That said, we were underwhelmed regardless of the absence of garlic. I've had cuisine prepared to these standards at temples, and things can still be flavorful. My Hakka noodles were lukewarm and just ok. I took some of my kid's chutney from the dosa to put on them to amp it up. The dosa itself was fine, but the pulya (potato) was under seasoned. This is the best Indian food chain I've ever had. They own a double store front, one side is the kitchen and the other side is seating. Because their kitchen is so large they can quickly accommodate large orders and large groups. Every time I show up the place is slammed but my food is always ready in 10-20 mins. I love the Dahi Puri, I describe it as Indian chips and dry dip. Bahji Pav with cheese and extra pav is a delicious bread bun plus creamy veggie dipping sauce Who knew eating a vegetarian meal could be so enjoyable! Maybe I'll swear meat off for good! read more

Surprised to see so many bad reviews. This has to be the cleanest Honest franchise out of any that I have been to. The service was quick and the food was very tasty. I highly recommend starting with their Dahi puri as appetizers to set the tone and proceed with their masala Pav Bhaji and veggie sandwiches. One think I do not recommend was their nann, it was lacking in taste. The price was a couple dollars more than other Honest locations but worth it due to the quick service and sanitary environment. read more

I have been here 3 times now and each time the food was very good. And each time I had ordered something different. So everything is good here. Gajar halwa was consistently very good both times' They seat you fast, bring your food fast and in the sequence it is ready. So try ordering family style, otherwise you could be the lucky one whose food arrives after everyone has already finished their's. Happened to me the first time! All items are over priced. Food is very average in test. Presentation is really good.

I typically don't write negative reviews. We ordered masala dosa, ours was the first order of that day and I was shocked how bad it was. The dosa was too hard and dry. Boiled Potato only had turmeric and that's it. No salt or anything else. Sambhar was absolutely no flavor so do none of the chutneys and I have no idea why all of the food had no salt (no salt at all) . We also had got a sandwich, It was too soggy as if the bread was soaked in the ketchup for too long. And it didn't have much flavor to it either. On top of that when I called them, their response was very bad. I have been there a few times before and never had this bad food and experience . Never going again ! read more

We just came in for dinner tonight and compared to the last time we visited that was last month there was a significant difference in food quality. We ordered the same menu items, indo Chinese noodles and veg Manchurian, both were under cooked and bland. The Paneer gravy was not cooked at all, to our surprise. We found out that recently they have let go their chef. So Honest, you should have made an effort to retain such a great cook. Honestly, We Love this New Indian Vegetarian Restaurant called "HONEST" that just opened up in Wilmington, DE. We've been there a couple of times. It's like getting your street food fix without going to India. My husband Loves the Kattappa Sandwhich there, Dahi Puri & Triple Schezwaan Noodles is my daughter's favorite. Today, they had Chef's special "Sabudana Khichadi." I ordered that, and Chandini, one of the owners there, made it fresh just for me! She sprinkled it with her Love and made it into a Prasadi ( Blessed Food). It was so tasty and mouth watering!! It reminded me of home cooked Indian Food today. I have tried their Pani Puri, Falooda, and Hot and Sour soup! They haven't disappointed us yet. The owners are so humble and hospitable and graciously welcoming! HONESTLY I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Paav bhaji was taste less. No where close to how it should be. Pav were extremely dry and bhaji tasted like boiled potato curry with sprinkle of veggies here and there. Chinese sizzler was no good, big pieces of paneer which were tasteless, some rice and noodles with no taste again and 2 pieces of bone dry manchurian. Sizzlers are served with gravy over it which was missing. Really bad bad food, over priced and slow service. You will be disappointed. read more

While we really wanted to like this restaurant, we won't be going back. First off, the night we were there, the service was terrible and super inattentive to the point where we felt like they forgot about us. The ambiance is okay, although a bit on the cafeteria-like feel. Our table was super wobbly and the staff member seemed annoyed that we mentioned it, though there were many other available tables where he could have sat us. The food was okay - a little bland - not the best Indian we've had but certainly not the worst. We ordered the "medium/regular" spice but there really was only one item that had any spice to it at all. And worst yet was that they charge $6 for a bowl of white rice (we needed two for the two of us - so $12 for white rice!) where most Indian restaurants include that with their entrees. Also, they don't give you any of the sauces or chutney that most places give with the entrees. Sad we won't be returning. read more

Provided one on one detailed feedback to the manager during the first visit, how the Sambhar tasted like made from powder, dosa was definitely made from a packet batter, it had plastic like look, feel and taste. Couldn't finish even 1/3 of it. Pudina paneer, seemed like Paneer pieces tossed in dried mint powder, no flavor or texture, left the whole thing as-is. Chole bathure- Chole were uncooked, tasted like spoon full of oil and spice mix added in canned cheakpeas. Service is like all young untrained people pushed into waiting. I ordered samosas and was informed that it was not available. It took about 10 minutes a get a can of coke. Finally the masala dosa arrived with my favorite coconut chutney which was unsalted. We were told to put salt and mix it. Never heard of this before. The prices are quite high for what they offer. The chole were the worst I have ever eaten.
