Nothing to complain about! Ordered two similar items, vegetarian pakora and onion bhaji. Would recommend the onion bhaji over the vegetarian because the vegetarian version had too many flavors going on. Vegetarian samosas were full of content, but weren't anything spectacular. The green accompanying sauce was interestingly tangy. Butter chicken was creamy and flavorful, what you'd expect. Chicken 65 does have a nice kick!

This was my first time ordering from Taj Mahal and I was very impressed. I ordered for delivery which had to be over $30. I was really happy to see so many vegetarian options! Everything came with a sweet dipping sauce and a semi-spicy dipping sauce which were really yummy! Everything was very flavorful and the paneer was delicious! I ordered a spice level four out of 10 but should've went a little bit higher! Im happy that the rice was a generous portion that came with the paneer. We also had garlic and regular non-which were great! Will defenitly return!!

Literally the best Indian food I've ever had. So good that I order the same thing two nights in a row! I had the goat curry and it was amazing. I've had the lamb curry but goat is more tender in my opinion. And the sauce that the veggie samosas come with is chefs kiss!!

    Non-veg Thali. Amazingly good!

Got Non-Veg Thali and it was a good portion and very delicious! Also, I was told that Sunday dinner buffet is coming at the beginning of October and it's going be $15.95. Can't wait!

    Lamb saag. Spice level 10!

I really do like this place even for the faults. The food is delicious but the last 2 times I have ordered in here my order has been partly wrong. The first time they forgot an appetizer, the second time regular naan instead of garlic naan. Both were easily corrected and the food quality is delicious enough to overlook those issues. The paneer 65 is deliciously spicy with that great red sauce. The lamb saag I ordered at a spice level 10 and it delivered. Deliciously spiced with big chunks of lamb and you can taste the layers of flavor. I'll be back again, and maybe that time we can get my order right the 1st time!

So I was pretty excited to have supper here. I'm not too sure, what difference it makes that is connected to the flying j truck stop? Do regular people think that truck stops are just full of filth? I mean some of them are, but this isn't one of them. It shouldn't really make a difference what a business is connected to, because it's an independent entity. I walked in in the late evening, place was super busy. Now I'm going to digress a bit, but with buffets the ABSOLUTE OPTIMAL TIME to go to a buffet is when it is busy and packed. The more people, the more food they cook, the more fresh food comes out. If you go into a buffet trying to avoid the crowd, you're not going to get the freshest food available, because they're not going to be cooking for 200 people, with only 15 in the restaurant, so keep that in mind. I think that's where some of these bad reviews come in. Anyhow, you pay up front and order your drink. The kid at the register was kind of strange, but that's just youngsters in the workforce these days. It didn't dawn on me until afterwards, but they ask you if you want cash back, and it's for the tip for the girl that gets your soda and cleans your plates. I went back after the fact and just had the nice kid put five bucks on my card and give me cash so I could give her some gratuity. While we're on the subject of her, she was super nice, kept my drinks full, kept my table cleared, and was constantly cleaning and sweeping the floor the entire time I was there. and AND we're interacting with literally all of the customers, which I found pretty impressive. She's obviously a local gal, and personally knew some of the patrons. That's huge for me, so maybe this is a five star review. I noticed a couple other girls constantly cleaning and sweeping also. I didn't order any custom grilled steaks, or anything like that, but I did manage to cover probably at least 80% of the buffet itself. Everything from salads, to soups, to dumplings, to dessert, to the rest of the food. Did I absolutely love every single thing I got? Not particularly. But in an overall general sense everything was absolutely great. The place was packed, which means they were constantly bringing out fresh trays of food. Probably everything that I got, was hot and fresh. The only thing that look like it was sitting there for a good while was the chili, but then again, who actually eats chili? Gross. I guess the decorum is your typical golden corral. Like I said I haven't been in one in over 20 years, but they had typical signage, a ton of tables, which were mostly taken, I actually had to seek a table out in the back because they were so busy but they were also playing country music which was nice. I am a super foodie, I've owned a bar and grill, and I cook a lot of food and smoke a lot of meat when I'm home, so don't listen to these other reviews. Just keep in mind that it's important that you go when it's busiest, that's when you'll get the best experience, and the freshest food. Tah tah for now my little festerlings!! The gift shop was massive and had lots of "gifts" or items to buy for yourself. Don't waster your time coming here for lunch, go somewhere else that is local and better quality of food. This time I went with my mom and her boyfriend and we all loved the food and left with our bellies full! Our server was very attentive to us, kept our drinks filled, cleared our table of dirty plates quickly, and didn't make us feel rushed or pressured at all. We were disappointed to see that there was no soft shell crab, honey-coconut shrimp, or egg custard dim sum (all of which were present during my first visit and I was looking forward to) but given how wonderful everything else was, it wasn't a big deal The building was still crowded even though we went on a Tuesday evening, but I hear on weekends the line can be out the door so in comparison to that it sounds like we avoided most of the crowd. There were consistently workers keeping the food stocked and the building clean aswell. Lobsters and crabs were abundant. I learned about this place awhile ago from YouTube of which many gave praises. We frequented many mid level AYCE places like this and we've found that as time goes by, quality degrades with restaurants like this. Now there was a rather long length of time between discovering this place on YouTube and actually visiting this place. I wonder if the praises that were sung about this place were still valid. I would say yes. As previously mentioned, lobsters and crabs were abundant and makes it worth the trip on that alone. As for the other offerings, it was mostly surprisingly good. Don't expect Michelin quality food here. Generally, it's about the quantity BUT the food is pretty good. The sushi/sashimi shocked me a little. AYCE sushi is usually just passable but here, I thought it was pretty good. Everyone in my group loved the quality of the salmon. Other offerings, of which there were many, were pretty good. Standouts were the lamb chops in my opinion. Dessert options wasn't as extensive as the other AYCE places I've frequented but they do the job. Aside from the usual fountain soda options (serves by the restaurant staff) , they had a few fruit drinks and a milk tea option as well as some specialty drinks in a can. Scale 1 to 5. (Keep in mind that this is based on quality you'd expect from a typical AYCE restaurant. Food 5 (large selection of food and that shellfish!) Service 5 (Friendly staff and were pretty efficient in clearing the plates) Cleanliness 4 (Place was well kept. Deducted 1 star due to the stickiness of the floor around our table which reminded me of a movie theater floor... lol) Value 5 One con to point out. The restaurant was rather large yet the bathrooms were small and couldn't accommodate a lot of people at once. Not a huge quibble as the wait wasn't astronomical BUT it did seem odd that the size of the bathroom didn't match the size of the restaurant.

The restaurant was busy due to the holiday, but the staff managed everything well and kept the buffet running smoothly. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, especially for seafood lovers. We really enjoyed the crab legs, which were refilled frequently and tasted fresh. The shrimp dishes--including fried shrimp and garlic shrimp--were flavorful and well cooked. There was also a good selection of fish, mussels, clams, and seafood stir-fry, which made the seafood section the highlight of the meal. In addition to seafood, Ichiban had plenty of Asian and American-style dishes. The hibachi grill was popular, allowing you to choose fresh ingredients like chicken, beef, shrimp, and vegetables cooked right in front of you.
