The other review I gave Glenrose 5 stars, excellent service, excellent price. Thought I had found a new plumbing company to use for future work as well. And I cannot take away from that experience. HOWEVER, several weeks later I call and they come out but a different plumber than the first work done. He quotes me $707 for what should be just a Moen shower faucet cartridge and labor to install. He said entire shower assembly needed to be replaced along with the trim kit in the shower. And his quote included $56 for going into crawl space to turn water off and on again! I called the mgmt/owner and was told she would look at the quote and get back to me the next day via email. She did and basically said "it is what it is", and that this project "...may not be a good fit". What in the world does "this project may not be a good fit" mean? That certainly doesn't exude confidence in the company your trying to do business with. After telling them they lost this business and any future business, I called another company and had the work performed for $165. You do the math and decide who you want to do business with.

Jeremy was kind enough to respond via text, from a quote process in Yelp, to let me know he could make it to our home in the early afternoon to help us and would text or call me as he got closer. Jeremy called and came when promised. He knew where exactly to start and found the problem in no time. About 40 mins after he arrived, the problem was solved. He was super friendly, very knowledgeable and charged a reasonable price. He also gave me great input for how to prevent it from happening again. I called and he came the next day and fixed the Jerry-rigged leaking mess under the kitchen sink and showed me what had been done that caused the problems. The bill was very reasonable, he was great to work with. One of the things he stressed was that he stands behind his work and if I were unhappy with anything all I just need to let him know. After that I gave him a list of all the other problems that needed fixing All got done within a very reasonable amount of time. I did not call the plumbers who installed the toilet, I called Michael to fix the leak. He came out and discovered the seal between the toilet tank and the toilet bowl was not secured properly and leaking. Michael tightened the bolts and fixed the leak. He went over the install and checked to see if there were other problems. He found a couple and recommended some repairs but since it was a Saturday and repairs were not urgent, I decided to wait on the fixes. I found Michael to be very professional explaining what he was doing and what needed to be done. It was quite a different experience from the plumbers who installed the toilet and who were in a hurry to finish the job and move on. I highly recommend Michael for all plumbing needs and by the way his rates are very reasonable. If you want your plumbing job done correctly, call My Guy Plumbing. If just want someone who may show up, call some else.

However, obviously, 2 p.m. must be considered "night time" to these guys. I strongly advise against recommending this company to anyone.
