This isn't a dine-in place, and more of a place that you can order to-go. The lady who took my order is a spunky, hilarious character who gave me good recommendations. The lunch and dinner combos are great value for their pricing. I ordered the Mongolian beef and really liked the flavor. Probably one of the closest east coast Fuzhou style tasting places in Aurora/Denver. If you're from the east coast and want a familiar taste of authentic takeout that isn't that scoop BS, that has that classic faded overhead menu, that has friendly/fast service, this is def a spot to check out. I feel positively about this little Chinese take out joint. Great prices over all! I ordered a small sweet n sour chicken, it comes with white rice. I also added two egg rolls, they seemed to be vegetarian and were in the thinner spring roll wrappers. About half the chicken had split out of its fried coating during the cooking process, which is my only mixed impression. The chicken it's self tasted fresh and they reminded me of sweet n sour chicken from New England. (Many places in New England had either a super puffy and doughy breading or a super crunchy thinner coating and this was the thinner kind) The red sweet n sour sauce had a good flavor and wasn't too sweet or too thick. Spring rolls had cabbage, celery and pepper in them. Maybe a little carrot. Staff was pleasant, helpful in making sure people understood what they were ordering so they wouldn't be disappointed and my food came out fairly quickly. It wasn't during a lunch rush. There was ample parking. This is located around the corner from a Walmart. There were also some seats to wait at and two tables that would seat up to 4. I wanted to eat in so they gave me a fork and a plate to use. Seems like forks might not be included in a take out order, so make sure you ask for one just in case. read more

Best crab cheese wontons I've ever eaten, they were fresh tasting made in house and full of the creamy goodness. I've had better fried and white rice in Mexico City for Christ sakes , no flavor and nothing of note in the fried rice and how In the world was the white rice kind of dry ?!? Good Veggie egg rolls, huge portion of garlic broccoli, menu said it was spicy but it wasn't. Lo mein noodles sauced properly. Will come back and try more items. read more

I love this place. It never disappoints. It's always busy, so I make sure to call ahead before going to pick up the order. If you just walk in, you'll probably be waiting for 20 minutes. Clearly word has gotten out about how great New China City is! I'm partial to the sesame tofu and veggie lo mein, while my boyfriend usually goes for the BBQ ribs and General Tso's chicken. Their fried rice is also dynamite. Their large size entrees are LARGE - they pack so much food into the container. You'll have leftovers for days! First time here and I ordered the lunch combination peppered beef and the total for that came out to less than six dollars and the portion was generous!! it included a side of rice white or fried and an eggroll. The food was made fresh as I was watching the cook and when I took my food to work, I bit the green bell peppers and were cooked perfectly and crisp and the beef had great flavor and was fresh, so was the rice!! I will absolutely be back again to order from here. I left a generous tip as the lunch combinations are very inexpensive. 2 lunch combos = $12.90! read more

Their location encourages mainly takeout and delivery from the start. I usually come here and order what I order best: Sesame Chicken with fried rice on the side. I hated this location in the beginning before the pandemic!! Simply, because I remember checking this place out on Yelp, and brought a buss load of people here for what I thought was dine in friendly. We were all shocked to see that it didn't have any tables at all for even a group of 4! Only a table for 1. However, their food is pretty well prepared. Other delicious options are the lo mein (combo is my favorite) and the different types of wontons. Lots of decent reviews on here but I have no idea why. Called in our order to be told it would take 30 mins and when we got there at 40 mins it still wasn't ready. What kind of Chinese place takes almost an hour for make two meals? We get the pepper steak, which had maybe 6 pieces of steak in it (it was 90% green peppers and onions) and orange chicken (that was burnt and was mostly inedible) along with their "fried" rice that's nothing more than brown rice with small bits of egg (no veggies or onions). Also the "egg rolls" that come with the combos were crispy, but really were more of spring rolls and were so greasy we ended up taking one bite and tossing them in the trash. Now I know I'm spoiled having really great Chinese food places back East, but even for Denver standards this place is terrible. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

This spot is a hidden gem and close to home. We've ordered twice in the last couple weeks and enjoyed our choices both times. We ordered the crab cheese wontons that were overflowing with filling. Lots of good reviews for New China City. My experience was terrible however, so all I can do is review it honestly. I ordered a chicken dish that I think the lady KNEW was unsatisfactory that day. I believe this, because when I ordered it, she stopped and wanted me to know that it was "crispy". Then she showed me a picture and asked if I understood it was "crispy". I thought she meant the breading, which of course would be fine. When I got my order home, it was COMPLETELY inedible. The chicken was SO tough and dried out, it was impossible to chew. Like 10 times tougher than Jerky. Closer to shoe leather. Listen-- If you're a food purveyor and you end up with some bad product, either from a vendor or from your own cooking mistake, THROW IT AWAY AND TAKE THE LOSS! The alternative might be that you get ME as a customer, who will write a scathing review to inform her fellow consumers. Which is far more costly than disposing of a few pounds of hard, un-chewable chicken. "Crispy" -- -- -- Don't mess with me lady. read more

If you call in during a busy time, be prepared to have them pick up and then listen to background chatter for a little while before being helped. We've been going there for 11 years & Love the food. The place is owned by a Chinese family, very wonderful family, very nice! I've tried everything & our favorites are: Kung Pow chicken, Orange Chicken, Egg Foo Young, Shrimp Fried Rice, Chow Mein, Crab Wontons (everything is totally fantastic!) They've got some kind of fried fish thats awesome too. I've been to China & this is a taste of being there! They do deliver, Pickup, or they even have a few tables (3 I think, small ones, the kind that's usually in a Grandma's kitchen thats only meant for 2 people) I've tried quite a few places in the Metro Area, & this is my family's favorite for sure!
