Prompt friendly service. They currently have a 2-4-1 promotion which makes it a great value. Tasty items in a nice relaxed atmosphere. I'll use the promotion once or twice per week until it's over.

First time here in our way home from golf. Came based on reviews and the food was quite excellent. Clean, great service and nice menu. Will have to come back to try more menu items.

he staff is friendly and attentive, and they're always happy to make recommendations. The menu features a wide variety of Chinese dishes, including both traditional and modern options. I've tried a few different things. My favorites are the skewers of beef and lamb, pork belly wrapped in cucumber, and Singaporean rice noodles (subtle curry flavor. Yummy). The stir fry veggie (荷塘小炒)was extremely well cooked and nutritious too. What I wasn't impressed with was the big plate chicken - not flavorful enough and not spicy enough. No noodles included either. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are decent. I've always left feeling full and satisfied. If you're looking for a great Chinese meal, I highly recommend Meet & Eat Bistro.

Heard many compliments from foodies trying out the previously recommended new spicy dishes at Meet & Eat Bistro. For someone who is less tolerable to spicy food, pork with lychee, squid with cauliflower, salt & pepper chicken, fish maw with seafood soup and ice sticky rice are also quite tasty and worth a try.

Heads up, no liquor license w M&E, this used to be another grilled-skewers type restaurant and the pic w the bevs are from the previous regime. Wow, everything was so yum. Northern Chinese style buns - made from fermented dough like sourdough style with natural yeast VS packaged yeast. Very spicy and numbing appetizer with the beef tongue and tripe dish. Eggplant pork fried pockets (mini fried eggplant sandwiches) string beans, steamed fish. Everything was so tasty. We came here on a Sunday mid afternoon and we were the only table, amazing service, hot food, clean and quiet dining room. The steamed fish does take a bit, about 15-20 mins so patience is needed. We didn't mind as we had many other things to munch on while waiting for the main star. Easy parking w their private lot. Come check them out!

Sichuan Founder Fillets In Hot Chili Oil

Brought my son for lunch so we could hang out together and try some new foods. We looked at the menu online so we could look at photos of the food. Ordered hot tea to balance out the spice I was going to eat. Went with fish flounder fillets in hot chili oil and he selected the spicy chicken. Side of salt and pepper tofu. The fish fillets were as good as the last time I came and I enjoyed the veggies inside the dish as well. Eaten with the steamed rice and tofu the fillets were less spicy. But I was still sweating :) His spicy chicken was so good. Crispy and crunchy with good flavor. A little spicy but offset with the tofu and steamed rice yummy. Server was friendly and parking was plenty. The tea wasn't my favorite as it had an after taste but it helped calm the spiciness.

I've been searching for a Chinese restaurant with really good Szechuan items since my favorite place sadly shut down last month. I think I've finally found a solid replacement! The fish in chili oil is hands down the best version of this dish I've had anywhere. I felt the same way about the ma po tofu, but my partner disagreed with me on that one. The Dan Dan noodles are soooo nutty! Yum! Cute, comfortable interior. Just with they were open for lunch!

Incredible sichuan / szechuan with numbing peppercorn. Nothing in denver metro lives up to this quality for numbing spice szechuan. Here's what we ordered, notes are comparing it to peter chang's (not pf chang's) restaurants along the east cost: Dan Dan noodles (good but very different, thick noodles and soupier) Double cooked pork slices (would be perfect if they replaced green bell peppers with jalapenos) Sichuan flounder fillets soup (more spice, not sour, id skip) Fried lamb with cumin Spicy chicken (Shan city chicken) Deep fried eggplant with pork (amazing, dip them in spice powder or ask them to toss in spice beforehand) Hot pot with crispy fish (bamboo fish) Hop Alley is good, and has a few items, but pricey and more fine dining then quality szechuan. Noodles express only has a few good numbing dishes, and their chongqing chicken has bones in it to the point you sometimes get only a breaded piece of bone in it. Sunflower asian cafe has a better soup with fish filet and sour cabbage soup, and better dan dan noodle (my opinion, i prefer the smaller noodles and less soupy) Szechuan tasty house, I still haven't eaten in person. I have received togo multiple times and didn't love it.

Came here with my mom who's Szechuanese. But since I'm not a huge fan of spicy we ended up getting a few mild items. I thought the sweet and sour chicken and fish filet were solid. The beef noodle soup had good flavor but not a lot of beef pieces which I was disappointed with. Based on other reviews - probably best to stick with the Szechuan dishes if you come here.

The dining room is still closed, they essentially keep the dining room as a storage closet lol. You walk in to pick up your order and they have tables blocking the entry, that's where you pay for your food. The portions are still as giant as ever, and the prices are still affordable. My wife and I had a hankering the other day for our old stomping grounds, so we jetted over there to pickup an order. It was ready in 10 minutes and two meals ran us $32. I think I pay $32 for a good cup of coffee these days!!!!!! I kid, I kid. The meal lasts you for days, you really get two giant sized portions out of it. It will probably last some of you three days. They don't skimp out here and it's incredible. They serve Asian fusion, Chinese American meals that are addictive. Or is that the MSG??? Probably so, and that's why it's delicious. (Note, they are closed on Tuesdays.) I placed our pickup order on a Saturday night & it was ready in 15 minutes. The restaurant is for take-out only. Our food was in containers & placed in a box. I appreciated this since there was no way anything was going to tip over & spill. Very friendly phone & counter service as well. Note, you get six free Cheese Wontons when your order is more than $40. We ordered three different entrees with three different sides - Steamed White Rice, Fried Rice & Lo Mein Noodles. The sides were good, however the fried rice didn't seem fried, it was white rice with soy sauce. The Sweet & Sour Shrimp Entree was tasty - the shrimp were medium sized, cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce. The Sesame Chicken Entree was even better, the chicken was moist & tender. The beef in the Mongolian Beef Entree was great however there were way too many onions in the dish. Overall, a very satisfying meal.

I am so glad that they are so consistent and have not changed recipes or adjusted seasonings. Ordered our two favorites - pickled pepper beef and mapo tofu. We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.

Lately it feels like a lot of restaurants are charging more while giving less, and it's getting harder to find places that actually care about the customer experience. Unfortunately, this was another one of those experiences. We ordered three side dishes and three drinks, and the bill came out to around $100. Two of the three sides were served cold, the dumplings at least came out hot, but they were pretty mediocre and nothing I'd order again and drinks were extremely over priced. The waitress was fine, no real issues there, but it did feel like the food may have been sitting in the kitchen too long before it hit the table even though the place was empty. At the end of the day, it's hard to justify paying that kind of money for cold, underwhelming food, then feeling awkward about the tip because the experience just wasn't good. I won't be back. If I had known this is what the experience was I would have definitely gone somewhere else. As an added bonus I felt like crap afterwords, I think it was because of poor quality ingredients. My aim in writing these reviews is to highlight the restaurants and businesses that truly take care of their customers, to give people a heads up about the ones that clearly do not prioritize quality or the customer experience, and to express myself in a world where it often feels like there is very little room to speak honestly about paying top dollar for mediocre experiences. Very disappointing.
