More than ham, this Conroe hangout featured massive home cooked burgers, customized as you order with choice of bread and a variety of add ins. I overshot ordering a double that was well beyond my capacity to eat in one sitting. These burgers are the real deal. Sides are pretty awesome too, battered onion rings arrive hot and crunchy. The two ladies working the front of the house are personable and efficient. Beware this restaurant looks more like a specialty ham store and less attractive than the Culver's sharing the same parking lot. That being said, if you want a real juicy, hot burger with all the flavor and no money wasted on facilities,head here instead. Your tummy will thank you!

This place is the bomb! The food is excellent and the staff are friendly! You can't find a good sandwich place anywhere, especially one that has more meat than bread and veggies!

WOW what a deal!! 2 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 drinks for $9.99?! And the burgers are fantastic! The seasoned fries are fresh and just as good as the burger! On the negative side, the tea is not so good. One of those tea machines.. not so good. I wish restaurants would go back to brewing fresh tea... but the food quality makes up for it. My recommendation, stop by QT to get your tea, and come here for your food!

2 burgers 2 sides and 2 drinks priced at $29. I'd say ok on value. The burger itself was ok, not as spectacular as its made out to be. My real issue and reason for leaving this review is the macaroni. Why offer something that's below standard? People pay earned money for quality, not this :)

Was looking forward to trying out this place, but unfortunately they were closed. The sign in the window indicated they were open 10-8, no where did it indicate they were not open on Sundays. Not sure if that is why they were closed. Very disappointed that I was unable to try their burgers as they have been voted best burger! Check out their window photo. read more

Foods OK. Customer service is terrible.Ask the waitress about some confusion on the bill. Said she would have to talk to the owner. Her call me and said if you need the five dollars that bad come up here an get it!! In a pissed off manner. I will never step foot in his restaurant ever again. read more

My fiancé and I were looking for places to eat near us. I found this place and saw that it had pretty good reviews and it was super close by. We walked in at 7:49 PM and was greeted with "Hi honey. Are y'all going to want cold sandwiches? Because I already turned off the grill." I understand working in the food industry, but I've never completely shut down a restaurant before closing time. I really, really wanted to give it a shot as my mouth was already watering by looking at the menu! I think I'll have to come back, but definitely not anywhere close to closing time. read more

Always fresh, always delish! Discovered this place a couple of years ago. Love the Jalapeno Bun on the 1/3 lb cheeseburger. Always cooked the way I like it. Onion rings are good as are the french fries. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the 336/I-45 area. It's right around the corner from the Academy. read more

This is a hidden gem. They have great fresh sandwiches on sweet white or wheat buns. I recommend the wheat with turkey. They also have a regular 9.99 special for 2 burgers and fries w/ drinks. The burgers are cooked fresh and made in house. Seasoned perfectly! Servings are generous. Plenty of choices and home made banana pudding. Close to home. We eat there regularly. I have been meaning to try this place out and finally got around to it. I ordered the Bubba Burger and got the Grilled Chicken With Ham and Cheese for my wife, both on Jalapeno buns. The interior is a little outdated but you can always call ahead and have your order ready. The food was REALLY good, better than most places with similar offerings. The burger was awesome, and reminded me of a Mexican Hamburger, if you havent tried one before I would recommend you find somewhere that sells them. The chicken was just as good, and coupled with an order of seasoned fries we were happily surprised with our choice. Will be back again! read more

This is a great place for lunch, dinner or holiday dinner take out. Chris the owner personally ensures that everything is perfect with your order and the staff is great, friendly and makes you feel welcome no rush you in and out. We have been ordering our holiday meals for a long time, the ham is delicious, the sides: cornbread dressing, green bean casserole, the cobblers, everything is delicious and serve plenty. Once you order you keep coming back because it is so delicious. Excellent food, care and service. This is the place to order from. read more

I ate here in the past with my parents & kinda let it die out with my childhood BUT while stuck in a what to eat war with my boyfriend, he wondered if Honey Bee was still around & indeed it was. I can happily say, IT IS STILL THE BEST BURGER IN TOWN. The sour-dough jalapeño bread is sent straight from heaven. Every item on my burger from the meat to the veggies were delicious! I added mushrooms & they were fresh off the grill, yum yum yum. If I could eat here everyday I would & if they were open Sundays OOH BOYYYYY. The atmosphere is comfortable, cute & convenient. Very glad I found this place once again. read more

I haven't been here in years but the burgers are still the same as I remember. Delicious. Fresh & juicy! Fries are fresh and crispy. The bacon is crisp! Jalapeño sour dough bread is fressssh. Perfect ideal burger and best in town or within 50 miles hands down. Great customer service! read more

Just went by and picked up burgers & onion rings for lunch as well as a small ham for Thanksgiving. Love the food here but employees were not wearing masks!! Just don't understand why ANYONE would go without a mask at this time!!! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Bought a ham and king ranch casserole ,the ham was ok but the king ranch was practically soup with no chicken hardly at all .I never complain at restaurants but since we spent 40 dollars on this casserole and no one would eat it, I felt compelled.I called and explained that it was very runny,the owner right off the bat blamed me telling me I probably didn't cook it right(which I did) and once I told him I cooked it 2 and a half hours like the instructions said and let it sit 15 like it said he yelled at me And said "you'll be fine,I can't help you".I'll never be going back there. read more

Came here to pick up lunch for my boss today. The woman at the register was sweet and helpful. Thought it was a little overpriced for some sandwiches. However they are all fresh made and what not. I would implore the reader to never order anything at this restaurant called "loaded" loaded has come to mean 50% habanero pepper, and I'm serious. we ordered loaded oysters and they were inedibly hot. Horrible little pits of fire. And to get the taste out of my mouth I ordered an order of loaded bread and the loaded bread was also covered with habaneros! I enjoy a little spice, but I am beyond the point in life where I open packets of Taco Bell fire sauce and spray it on my tongue for a dare. That's what eating "loaded" oysters at this restaurant has become. My meal here cause gastric distress which endured for a day. No joke. This was a bad experience. Beware their peculiar habanero pepper fetish. No way.

The micro-greens added a great color contrast on the dish and the sourdough has the best crunch and softness altogether. She loved every bite and even shared a bite with me! We ordered a cajun deep fried turkey spiral ham for Thanksgiving. They were a little pricey but worth for me not to cook them. However, the turkey came with warming instructions but not the ham. We overheated the ham in the oven & it came out a little charred on the surface & very dry inside. I recommend that heating instructions come with all the products sent home for such occasions. The ham didn't get eaten much & that was $70 wasted in my book. The turkey on the other hand was perfect. read more

Absolutely amazing! Hands down one of the best burgers in Conroe. Do yourself a favor and get the jalapeño sourdough bun -- you won't regret it.
