When coming to this honey dew i bought two things. I bought a wakeup wrap and a strawberry donut. My wakeup wrap was tiny and was more than half tortilla. The donut has little to NO frosting and the frosting tastes like melted laffy taffy. I also had to scrape half the frosting that on my donut out of the bag. Im assuming the workers just through it in the bag. very, very disappointed and would not get from here again. DO NOT BUY IF YOU LIKE QUALITY!! read more

I love the staff at this location; they are very nice. I can say that, bang for your buck, Honeydew has some of the best quick breakfast food. I love the Portuguese breakfast sandwich. The donuts are huge in comparison to the competition. I got a large latte for dollars less than others, and it was tasty! My son and I ate in the dining area, which was clean and casual. Lincoln Honey Dew makes my coffee better than any of the other locations nearby! I will drive an extra couple minutes to get my coffee here because it is well worth it. I have been going to this location for years and never had an issue but one of the women is extremely rude. Every time I go there and I finally said something today and she responded by blowing me a kiss and saying fuck yourself I called and asked for the managers name. She responded by telling me the name is Jill and again, I asked what her issue is followed by a rude insult. If you cannot be nice to your customers, then you shouldn't be in customer service. The word "weak" aptly describes this place, and I'm not just talking about their coffee. They have a really odd, narrow parking lot, with no lines for parking spaces, or borders delineating it from adjacent properties. I witnessed several customers leave here, and cross into the driveway of a residence next door. Before ordering, I used the bathroom, which is in lockdown. That in and of itself is no big deal, but as I approached the door, read the sign, and was about to go ask for a key, I heard a buzz of the door being remotely unlocked. Gee, is Big Brother watching me? Is someone monitoring a camera to see if a customer needs to use the bathroom? Very odd. Once inside the bathroom, which must be adjacent to their kitchen area, I could hear the thundering of heavy carts being wheeled around on the other side of the wall. Not a relaxing experience. The building is long, but narrow. I saw four upholstered chairs near the bathrooms. Toward the front of the building, there are some small tables and less-comfortable chairs, as well as a narrow counter, if one should choose to dine-in. It was a kind of a noisy, boisterous place, though, and not conducive to conversation, if you ask me. It was very awkward waiting in 'line,' because there is not much room in front of the counter for ordering, and there is no logical place for a line to form. The young woman who took my order seemed a bit rushed. Her cap and shirt had stains. Employee uniforms - specifically, the black leggings the female staff wore - were a bit too casual. What's next, pajama pants? I ordered black coffee, a glazed donut and a blueberry scone with icing. As per the theme of this review, the coffee tasted good, but was weak. The baked goods were weak as well. It was perhaps the worst glazed donut I've ever had, and was way too dense, with the consistency of a bulkie roll. Gross. Likewise, the scone also had an atypical density, and was more akin to the consistency of cake, or a donut. read more

It has ample parking and the people working there are always friendly, polite and competent. The coffee and drinky things are always appropriately hot or cold and the obscenely caloric but very tasty pastries are quite good. The counter is small so it's hard for the donut givers to wait on more than one person at a time but if donut buyers are civilized about things the confining space isn't usually a problem. A few tables and stools to sit on offer a modicum of comfort. They even have a drive-though. But there is one thing missing. An omission as large and as massive as the total gravitational collapse of a star. And about as hard to ignore. An aberration. A travesty. A perversion . A true act against the laws of nature. This donut place and coffee purveyor doesn't have a bathroom. Any Honey Dew, D&D, or any place that sells coffee that doesn't have a crapper just isn't right. Sure the employees are extremely apologetic and serious when confronted with the dreaded, "where's the bathroom" question and even give suggestions to find the nearest facilities. But a bathroom is the reason we stop most of the time. Sure we always get coffee or something but these types of places are pit stops on the road to somewhere else. Selling coffee without a offering a bathroom is like having yin without the yang. The ice without the scream. The kitty without the litter. Incomplete and not quite right. read more

Came here the other day with my #BestDonutsRi Food Fight Passport in hand. The best part of this HDD is the venue itself. Clean, festively decorated, and there's a nice and breezy vibe to it. I've been a bunch of different HDDs, so I want to give a well-earned shout out to how well it's kept. The honey dew donut I got was dense. Like, thick. cake. dense. There was no question of its freshness, but it was one of those donuts that you could feel taking up space (and expanding) in your stomach as you were eating it. I think I even heard my stomach say, "Seriously?" It's a heavy one, that honey dew donut. On to the much-advertised Iced Chai Latte. Served in a way-too-big cup, the sweetness was almost overwhelming. As far as I could see, this particular beverage is made to order (a few small cups, and mixes were in action), so if I could whisper something in HDD's ear, it would be... "it's a toothache in a cup, sweetie!" I drank the whole thing, but still. Not sure why, but HDD had me in a Goldilocks state of mind. There are at least two Honey Dew Donuts that are closer to our house than this one, but this HDD is the diggity bomb bomb. I think they make their own donuts at this location as they have the most incredible variety - you gotta love their butternut donut, the vanilla creme-filled is overloaded with creme goodness, and they usually have a vanilla frosted with what looks like Oreo pieces on top. You can't get those donuts at the HDDs closer to my house, and this location is so clean you could eat off the floor. Like seriously, the place is always spotless. I leave this Honey Dew Donuts location with the same reaction each time. 'Wow, the staff are amazingly friendly!' Rarely does a place exceed expectations in customer service as often as this HD location. Seriously, I don't even care if my coffee tastes like crap when I leave. I'm always smiling extra broadly (because when am I not smiling). I hardly remember griping about the poor location of the drive-thru window, which always leaves a line of cars extending onto Front Street. I can't blame these people for risking public safety in order to wait in line. And I kid. The coffee is always delicious! I've been to many Honeydew's and most have been a "meh" experience, but this one takes the cake. The drive through was extremely quick, the guy at the window was wicked nice, my iced cappuccino was perfectly flavored and sweetened, and my raspberry stick was moist and still warm. My mid-day snack was met with audible "yums" as I got back onto the highway. I'm not up this way much, but it's good to have a place that I can get good coffee when I am. read more

The other reviewer is correct. A bathroom probably would be nice. As I live about a mile away it's not an issue for me. This is one of the few coffee places left in this area where the staff is genuinely interested in serving you. They are always polite and pleasant and helpful. I went here after breakfast with family for a donut and coffee treat. Walking in, I felt excited and anticipated how the large variety of donuts would taste. On the menu, there were several coffee flavor selections as well as milk choices. But this was all too good to be true. Note to self: just because something looks good, does not mean it is. I ordered a Skim milk French vanilla iced coffee with cream and sugar. The first sip was filled with sugar. The second, even sweeter and filled with a gross syrup flavor. The strawberry frosted donut I ordered was even worse. The icing was pure liquid and fell off in whole as I tried to eat it. The frosting tasted fake, to be honest. The donut dough itself was moderately stale - a surprise for a 12pm trip to a bakery environment where things are made "fresh" each day. More than likely, I will not return. read more

Has a much better selection of flavored coffee than Dunkin Donuts. Also has a good selection of sandwiches with a couple of different selections of English muffins and wraps. BUT!!! If you have somewhere to be by a specific time or may be running late for work in the morning, you may want to drive right by and visit Dunkin on Lonsdale Ave or Mcdonalds on Mendon Rd. There is no easy way here. If you chose the drive thru, keep in mind only 3 cars will fit in line, after that you are in line on the street. The speaker is only one car away from the actual pickup window. So, you have some time if you order food, or if the person in front of you orders food. You could always choose inside, but if there is a line, plan on waiting. Much like the above reviewer stated in the previous review, the counter is very small where only 2 customers at a time can fit. NOW....... here is the thing that slows everything down. The person that takes your order is the one who walks away to make your food. Then returns to take your beverage order, makes that and then you pay. As opposed to the streamlined process that Dunkin Donuts has where one person takes your order and someone else is dedicated to making food. The parking lot is an absolute train wreck. Everyone parks every where including on the sidewalk and the street, making it impossible to see oncoming traffic, if you are leaving the parking lot. Again, very good coffee and food.
