Honey Fitz is a small bar with multiple TVs so, it's good for watching games here. They're currently playing the NBA finals and World Cup games with sound! Bar service is good, and so is the food. They also do buckets of beers/seltzers. The Yugo Spritz was delish and so were the sliders and fries. The Guinness pours were also top tier.

Service on a busy St. Patty's Day weekend was the absolute best. The food was delish. What else can I say other than Honey Fitz and Jack Jones are affiliated?! Need I say more :)

If you want or are craving some of the best Irish comfort food Honey Fitz is the place to go. Sundays they have a roast which is a perfect balance for dinner, portions are right and they satisfied every craving I had. Washed it down with a pint of Guinness. Service is always 10/10, they are always so welcoming and always attentive. Sundays from 5-8 they have live music and although it was busy the vibes were great. Definitely a lot spot to grab a bite or even just for a casual drink.

Walking in on a Saturday afternoon, there was a small crowd, but still lots of places to take a seat. We sat at a table across from the bar and within a few minutes a waitress came by with menus. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and feels like a proper European pub. They pour an absolutely perfect pint of Guinness, it's cool and smooth and the best around. The namesake cocktail the Honey Spritz is light and refreshing. The menu has some great pub classics. We started with the scotch egg. Wonderfully crispy on the outside with a lovely jammy egg on the inside, it was delicious. We then went for the burgers on the menu. The regular burger is a hefty beef patty with lettuce and tomato and Irish Cheddar. The other is a double patty smash burger with grilled onions and melty cheese. Both were savory and scrumptious. Each served with steak fries, it made for a lovely lunch. Honey Fitz is a great place to grab a drink on your own or catch up with friends.

Many many places to eat and drink in Astoria. What makes a place stand out? The service and the vibe of the place. The place offers a happy hour from 4-7pm. Specialty drinks are available. I stuck with my standard Tito and club soda. The lighting is a little dark but good vibe. Prices are reasonable. The service was excellent. I ordered fish and chips and the fish was fresh. Would I come here again? Absolutely.

This a a great gem in the neighborhood replacing the old establishment. The drink I had was wonderful. I love the decor with ample seating along with great customer service. My drink did not disappoint, I actually ordered a second one. Looking forward to brunch.

I went here for their Friday lunch special. For $15 you can choose a meal, and either a glass of house red/white wine, or a beer. What a deal! I got their ham & cheese toastie (it usually comes with soup but I subbed for fries), and a glass of house red. The sandwich & fries were soo good! I definitely want to try their smash burger at some point. The server was nice and attentive. I absolutely love the interior, the dark green and wood looks so beautiful! It definitely has a cozy pub feeling to it. Looking forward to trying some of their cocktails and other dishes next time.

I admit, I still love Sanfords but they now have a major competition next door and based on my experience, I'm sure they will give them a run for their money. First, this place's kitchen stays open until at least 2am which a lot of Astoria restaurants refuse to do. I sometimes get out of work at odd hours and I need to eat actual meal aside from fast foods before heading home. This could be the answer. This location used to be a dive sports bar (clearly under a different ownership) and my jaw dropped when I walked in. Major upgrade in terms of decor, music choice and ambiance. Definitely fit for post 2020s vibe. Bar's drink selection is extensive, I got chicken sandwich this time which was great. Looking forward to trying other items.

Such a great local spot for brunch and drinks - Their Honey spritz is addictive and the service is friendly. The bar feels cozy and new all at the same time

An awesome new addition to the hood. Great drinks, beautiful interior, sweet beats and a disco ball. One of my new favs!

*Drinks* great date spot. Spacious enough to move around and you won't hear other conversations. The beer was poured well.

Super cute and cozy bar right off the N stop. Great cocktails and drinks on menu. There was even live music when we went Thursday evening!

My friends indulged the whiskey flight, it looked really fun. I wanted to partake but thats too much whiskey for me. The peach and cream sour was delicious! I could see myself coming back. I thought it was just one a one off thing, but it turns out their burger is insanely salty too. It seems like they pre-salt their burger patties since the texture is kind of gummy? The alternative is to salt the patties during cooking to retain the structure and feel of a beef patty. The overall meal was a disappointment. I'll have to try it again the future. Maybe theres a different cook in the back. For the value of $18, it's not bad, but not great on the tastebuds.

Love the bar stools at this place tho, they have backs and the chair is cushioned! I appreciate a good back to a barstool. I ended up coming a few days later and the vibe was much better. The bartenders must have just been tired from their previous shift that one Thursday. They were really great on a Saturday. The happy hour is pretty nice $5 for shot and $10 for a marg. ::bathroom alert::: Very inconvenient when you're at the bar. It's like a maze getting down there. The bathroom is clear tho, I'll give them that. They were playing live music for like 90 minutes. There was literally no one at this bar on a Thursday night, so much for thirsty Thursday. Theres a section off to the left that has a pool table and connect four. On a Saturday night they are playing Spanish music, most people know Spanish music and drinking is super fun!! I can totally see why this place doesn't have a lot of pictures. I don't see how a lot of people wouldn't it is cozy. At the end of the day this places prices are reasonable for this area. They get the five stars because the music was good and the prices were good. $7 for an ipa isn't so bad.

Right off the bat, I was impressed by the beautiful environment with some unique Thai-themed decor. The space is well suited for all occasions ranging from a casual lunch to a nicer dinner. The atmosphere was lively yet still comfortable for conversation. The staff were also friendly / helpful and the service speed was decent. Now as for the food, we started off with the Duck Rolls ($15). The dish came with 4 rolls, which were very tasty. I especially liked the wood ear mushrooms inside and the sauce added some nice sweetness to the flavor profile. However, the main course of Koong Karee ($27) was disappointing. It was a shrimp curry and while the initial bite was pretty good, the more I ate of it, the more I realized the sauce was just way too salty. It was also very onion-forward. Even when mixed with white rice, it was hard to bear a whole dish of that saltiness. It's very possible this was just a rare disappointing dish, but it is the one that I have to consider for this review. So overall, despite that disappointing dish, the tasty duck rolls, beautiful environment, and good service are still just enough to squeeze Soothr LIC into the low 4 star category.
