(2/5) Honey Pineapple had an atmosphere of bright, beachy interior, but felt half decorated with a lot of empty space and lack of personality for such a spacious room. The home fries looked fantastic but were the biggest disappointment of my companions meal--completely bland, soggy, no crisp what so ever and in desperate need of seasoning. The eggs were cooked properly and fluffy, but they also needed salt. The toast was simply toast, and the sausage links were forgettable. The highlights were definitely the crispy bacon and the fresh avocado. The roasted tomatoes were decent, although they seemed a bit overcooked and lacked that fresh, vibrant flavor. Service was average at best with a long wait just to receive the check. The biggest issue was the value. My custom breakfast of bacon, avocado, eggs with cheese, tomato, and an orange juice came to about $34 with a 20% tip which felt far too expensive for what was served. At that price point, I expect food that's seasoned well and memorable. Overall the meal lacked flavor, the service was slow, and I left feeling underwhelmed. There is a lot of competition in the area for a good breakfast spot and unfortunately, this place just isn't it.

We got there around 110and they closed at 2. Not many people in the place. They have only been there since February. The place is easy to miss bc it shares a building with a realtor. The theme is confusing... not really sure what they are going for. I did like the music. Other customers left and for a bit we were the only ones. One waitress was more interested in closing and the host was busy on his cell phone. Our waitress seemed to hustle ... cleaning and organizing. The burger which was supposed to have grilled pineapple with honey had like two tiny pieces of pineapple. The waitress stated that she, the cook ran out of the it but is making more. The whole point of the burger was the honey pineapple. She brought it out and again it was small pieces in a bowl. Weird. The seasoned potatoes were not bad but cold. My turkey burger tasted weird so all in all, not a great experience.

Service wasn't amazing and they were apparently out of the only mimosa flavors we wanted, but other than that a good experience. Loved my chicken and French toast, husband enjoyed the omelette (though it's definitely a very thin and wet omelette). Will definitely come back and try again.

Food looked very appetizing, but unfortunately, the flavors fell through. The honey and pineapple weren't complemented very well and didn't come through in the food. The potatoes were not good. The service was mediocre and the decorations outdated. Not sure if it's worth coming back to.

A great place for breakfast! We decided to try this restaurant out after seeing the sign that it is open for breakfast and lunch. It is located on the west side of A1A between the Pineda and the Eau Gallie Causeway. It is set back from the road so look for the sign for it as you are driving. It has it's own parking lot and shares the building with another company. There is an outdoor patio with several tables that you will have to navigate to the entrance. Once we entered we were greeted by a hostess and seated quickly. It looks very nice inside with booths, tables, hightop tables and a counter near the back. There is plenty of room between tables. The colors were relaxing and natural and a large sign with the restaurant's name was along the right hand wall as you entered. Our server, Madison, was wonderful. Quick, friendly, and helpful. The food is the usual fare for breakfast and lunch with everything from omelettes to burgers and sandwiches. We ordered The frenchy plate and a Ham and Cheese Omelette. Both came out within about 10-15 minutes. They were good sized portions and were delicious. The provide their signature sauce with both plates. Prices were about $15 for entrees and $3-$5 for drinks. The staff was excellent. I saw everyone work to get tables cleaned, get a high chair and make sure food came out quickly. OVerall, it was an excellent experience that I would recommend for anyone wanting a good meal, in a pleasant place served by nice people at a reasonable price. Enjoy.

Checked out the new Honey Pineapple restaurant in SB...service was great! Restaurant looks very bright and refreshed...lots of seating inside and out. We had two garden grove omelettes, one regular and one egg white, biscuits & gravy w/over easy eggs & home fries, green detox juice, wine & hazelnut rum latte. Drinks were ok...definitely need better champagne. Espresso martini would be a great addition. Food was good, other than they forgot goat cheese in one of the omelettes. Definitely worth visiting and feel like they will improve with time!!

This means nothing fancy. Good people, good food, good prices. I think I can safely say this is literally the best corned beef hash ever. So over the top good with homemade corned beef. I wanted more. My wife had one of their Bennies. She loved it too. Next time we are in the area, we will try them for lunch.

Banana River Cafe is proof that the smell of bacon can make you forgive almost anything…read more First, a fun fact: they're operated by a CIA graduate. No, not that CIA. The Culinary Institute of America. Our daughter actually graduated from their Baking & Pastry program in San Antonio, so we were already inclined to give the place a try. But I digress. The moment you walk in, the smell of bacon smacks you right in the face. In the best possible way. So. Dang. Good. We stopped in on a busy Sunday afternoon. The dining room was hopping. A few tables could have been bussed a little quicker, my chair needed a quick swipe-down before I sat, and there were a few chips hanging out on the floor. Normally I'd notice those things more, but then the bacon smell hit again and suddenly none of it seemed quite as important. I ordered two perfectly cooked over-medium eggs, sliced tomatoes (instead of potatoes), and a biscuit. I chose the biscuit over toast or an English muffin with absolutely no intention of eating it. My plan was to take it home for one of the kids. Then I took one bite. Friends, this was THE best biscuit I have ever eaten in my entire life. I don't throw around statements like that lightly. If you visit Banana River Cafe and order absolutely nothing else, order the biscuits. They deserve their own Yelp page. My husband got what I think was called the Power Bowl--a delicious-looking pile of rice, beans, carnitas, and all the ingredients that make a great burrito bowl. Our son absolutely housed his French toast. Our daughter ordered the Rosemary Chicken Salad Wrap with pasta salad. I sampled the chicken salad. It had a whisper of rosemary. A polite suggestion of rosemary. A rosemary cameo appearance. If you're going to call it Rosemary Chicken Salad, I'd personally vote for a little more rosemary. My daughter loved it, though. She also loved the pasta salad but wasn't a fan of the Parmesan sprinkled on top. If Parmesan must be involved, let's keep it to the kind that comes from a block and not the green plastic shaker. Just my two cents. The staff was friendly, service was great, and soda refills appeared before we even had to ask. I also loved the local artwork displayed throughout the restaurant. Every piece has a price tag, so if something catches your eye, you can literally take it home with you. Great food, great service, incredible biscuits, and enough bacon aroma to improve your mood instantly. We'll definitely be back.

They have the hot griddles built into the tables so that you can make your own pancakes which is what they're known for. We didn't have to wait for a table and the service was pretty quick. I started with a blood orange mimosa (only $6.95) and it was a very generous size. For my entree, I got the 2-pancake stack breakfast combo. I opted for the lemon poppyseed pancakes (which the kitchen cooks), cheesy eggs, and bacon. My husband got the southern breakfast, and our friend got one of their scramble skillets. Everything was amazing!

I joke of course, hipster is the theme, but of course they welcome everyone. And everyone should come. Staff is great. The place is clean and we loved the decor. Mostly, we loved our dishes. I had the shaved ribeye. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Loved the roll and Cole slaw. Now if they had some creamy horseradish for it, homerun. All in all, an excellent Sammy. My wife had the pulled pork Bennie. I am not a fan of pulled pork, but I must admit my fork wandered over to the plate a few times. She loved the dish as well. It was so big, we took half home. And there is where I may have finished it without permission. LOL. I really wish Yelp had the half star option. 4 1/2 is more appropriate. Go here. You won't be disappointed.
