Mexican biscuits & gravy
Kailey L.

Stopped by to grab bunch while visiting and it was a perfect spot right on the beach. The food was delicious, especially the Benedict's, Mexican biscuits, and skillet hash. The service was friendly and attentive, and it was very nice sitting on the outdoor patio on a beautiful day. Dog friendly indoor and outdoor as well

French Day breakfast with cannoli French toast

I loved the outdoor patio that looked out toward the water! It was such a beautiful, peaceful place to have breakfast. The sausages and cannoli French toast were delicious. I didn't love the scrambled eggs quite as much, but they weren't bad. Our waitress was really friendly and the food all came out within about 10 minutes of ordering!

Spicy Bloody Mary.

Food is better than decent. Not orgasmic. For instance. I ordered Greek Benedict egg dish go brunch. It was good, but English muffin was so soggy and it had been grilled on the grill, and it was obvious,It was icky. So I ate around it. Bloody Mary- very good.

I have driven past this place a thousand times, always thinking "One day, I'll get up early enough to go there." (I am sooo not a morning person) Well, that day FINALLY came! If this place was open late, I would go ALL THE TIME. We need a "All day and night Glory" Total home run of a meal! The service was very attentive, warm and inviting. The establishment, very clean and well lit with a large and exciting menu. I started with a mimosa. Classic. My husband ordered the Cannoli French Toast. I had to hold back from stealing the whole thing! It tasted as it was advertised, as it SHOULD taste based on the name. Hands down the best sweet breakfast meal I have ever tasted. Honest! I ordered the Diablo Eggs Benedict. It was perfectly cooked, with spicy chorizo and the best hollandaise sauce ever! We enjoyed it so much, we ordered the breakfast shots as desert and boy was that a treat! Strong, sweet with smooth orange juice as a chaser. Thank you Morning Glory, for giving us such a wonderful experience from start-to middle- to finish.

Follow the beachside parking rules and you'll be just fine. Also, free restaurant parking in front and behind the restaurants.

Great atmosphere. Staff is wonderful. Drinks are always amazing. Food is absolutely wonderful. It's one of the best breakfast spots in town.

Beach view

My favorite place to bring my mom when she's in town! The food is always great and I have a hard time choosing what I want to try every time I go. The staff is friendly and the service is always quick. My favorite thing about this place is their quirky coffee mugs - I would love to take one home! Another perk is this location is right on the beach, so perfect for eating breakfast during a sunrise and you can go for a beach walk after! Great ambiance, friendly staff, and full of character!

Eggs Benedict with balsamic drizzled on the top

Went here to celebrate on the beach birthdays and anniversary's and a place that served fresh squeezed OJ mimosa's and was on the beach. We were a party of 7. The Place was hopping! Waited 20mins. So went on the patio and sat on the outdoor sectional with the sun shinning down on our skin watching and listening to the waves going in and out. It does not get any better than that. They text me table ready. Sat on the out door patio. Perfect. Waitress was bubbly and knowledgeable. We order to pitchers of fresher squeezed OJ mimosas. So tasty! I order a coffee with almond milk too! Good strong coffee. We all order, some had some special request and extra sides. All came out perfect. The eggs Benedict was a homemade buttermilk biscuit with fresh basil, Black Forest ham poached egg and topped with homemade Hollandaise sauce and garnished with balsamic drizzle. You could taste the love and flavor in every bite. Biscuits were moist, ham cured with those seasoning and the basil and balsamic added a flavorful twist to this classic. Chicken coop let's talk about the waffle first, it is a pearl size waffle mixed with vanilla in the batter and a dash of sugar on the waffle griddle it comes out a little sweet&savory. Wow! The chicken is coated in panko bread crumbs fried and topped with bacon and american cheese and drizzled with hot honey. Need I say more. This sandwich is so large you have to cut it but delicious. All the eggs order came out like everybody ordered. Perfect! The chicken tenders is a half pound of chicken lightly battered and cooked and a side of fries. Chicken was tender and dipped into honey. Yummo! Biscuits&Gravy had tons of flavor from the sausage and pepper and lots of sausage , the gravy was perfect with consistency of the gravy. Not to running or thick. 3 large Blueberry pancake had lots of blueberries and nice and fluffy with a dash of powder sugar. The sides of potatoes were yummy and cooked to perfectly. Avocado was fresh and sliced. The omelette had grilled onions, mushrooms and spinach so much flavor and big portion. This place is a win! Win! And the extra bonus it Is you can watch the waves while eating on the outside covered patio-right on the beach. We made a ton of memories to last a lifetime. Worth driving to and then spending the rest of your day relaxing on the beach.

Breakfast tacos

The food and service were outstanding. Our party of 8 was seated promptly and served quickly. Breakfast Tacos were great, also highly recommend the Breakfast Skillet and Veggie Omelet!

It was a hot May Day but they had a portable unit that blew cold air as well as ceiling fans so it was quite comfortable. Our server, Debra, greeted us with a smile and was a delight. She gave prompt service even going so far as to anticipate our needs before we even asked for things, like a to-go cup already half filled with soda so when we added our own, we got to leave with a full cup. The food was PHENOMINAL! My friend had the tomato basil quiche and I had the pepper jack chorizo Benedict--both on their specials of the day menu--and both were the best we've ever had. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this place. And if you see Gary or Larry (regulars there), tell them hi. Larry will be sure to tell you some good jokes.

We sat at the bar and were greeted right when we walked in, and everyone behind the counter made it a point to say goodbye as we headed out, which honestly says a lot. Even though the place was busy, the service never skipped a beat. The drink order came fast, the food order came fast, and the staff kept checking on us without hovering. The wait staff was genuinely friendly and very attentive. The food was exactly what you want from a solid breakfast spot. Good portions, hot when it hit the bar, and exactly as advertised. My blueberry pancake was excellent, with what looked like fresh blueberries inside, and bonus points for real butter, not some processed garbage. You can tell they care about serving quality. My wife's country fried steak was delicious and generously portioned. She ate about a third of it with the intent of taking it home, as it was delicious. Being a Good Samaritan, I devoured her leftovers, and saved her the hassle of a to-go box. Fun, welcoming vibe, great food, and efficient service, all wrapped into a perfect little breakfast spot. Really happy to have this gem right here in the neighborhood, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend. It is conveniently located in the Lowe's shopping center plaza on A1A in Indian Harbour Beach.

My first 5-star breakfast review. I mean really, breakfast? This was a treat. We stumbled across…read moreit and I can say I'm glad we did. The place is really down home. This means nothing fancy. Good people, good food, good prices. I think I can safely say this is literally the best corned beef hash ever. So over the top good with homemade corned beef. I wanted more. My wife had one of their Bennies. She loved it too. Next time we are in the area, we will try them for lunch.

Banana River Cafe is proof that the smell of bacon can make you forgive almost anything…read more First, a fun fact: they're operated by a CIA graduate. No, not that CIA. The Culinary Institute of America. Our daughter actually graduated from their Baking & Pastry program in San Antonio, so we were already inclined to give the place a try. But I digress. The moment you walk in, the smell of bacon smacks you right in the face. In the best possible way. So. Dang. Good. We stopped in on a busy Sunday afternoon. The dining room was hopping. A few tables could have been bussed a little quicker, my chair needed a quick swipe-down before I sat, and there were a few chips hanging out on the floor. Normally I'd notice those things more, but then the bacon smell hit again and suddenly none of it seemed quite as important. I ordered two perfectly cooked over-medium eggs, sliced tomatoes (instead of potatoes), and a biscuit. I chose the biscuit over toast or an English muffin with absolutely no intention of eating it. My plan was to take it home for one of the kids. Then I took one bite. Friends, this was THE best biscuit I have ever eaten in my entire life. I don't throw around statements like that lightly. If you visit Banana River Cafe and order absolutely nothing else, order the biscuits. They deserve their own Yelp page. My husband got what I think was called the Power Bowl--a delicious-looking pile of rice, beans, carnitas, and all the ingredients that make a great burrito bowl. Our son absolutely housed his French toast. Our daughter ordered the Rosemary Chicken Salad Wrap with pasta salad. I sampled the chicken salad. It had a whisper of rosemary. A polite suggestion of rosemary. A rosemary cameo appearance. If you're going to call it Rosemary Chicken Salad, I'd personally vote for a little more rosemary. My daughter loved it, though. She also loved the pasta salad but wasn't a fan of the Parmesan sprinkled on top. If Parmesan must be involved, let's keep it to the kind that comes from a block and not the green plastic shaker. Just my two cents. The staff was friendly, service was great, and soda refills appeared before we even had to ask. I also loved the local artwork displayed throughout the restaurant. Every piece has a price tag, so if something catches your eye, you can literally take it home with you. Great food, great service, incredible biscuits, and enough bacon aroma to improve your mood instantly. We'll definitely be back.

They have the hot griddles built into the tables so that you can make your own pancakes which is what they're known for. We didn't have to wait for a table and the service was pretty quick. I started with a blood orange mimosa (only $6.95) and it was a very generous size. For my entree, I got the 2-pancake stack breakfast combo. I opted for the lemon poppyseed pancakes (which the kitchen cooks), cheesy eggs, and bacon. My husband got the southern breakfast, and our friend got one of their scramble skillets. I joke of course, hipster is the theme, but of course they welcome everyone. And everyone should come. Staff is great. The place is clean and we loved the decor. Mostly, we loved our dishes. My wife had the pulled pork Bennie. I am not a fan of pulled pork, but I must admit my fork wandered over to the plate a few times. She loved the dish as well. It was so big, we took half home. And there is where I may have finished it without permission. LOL. I really wish Yelp had the half star option. 4 1/2 is more appropriate. Go here. You won't be disappointed.
