Instead of being greeted with friendly faces, the two women working at the front looked visibly unhappy to see us--especially the children. It felt very strange, considering this is a chocolate shop that you'd expect to be welcoming to families. Despite my in-laws spending a good amount of money, we didn't feel that our business was appreciated. The one bright spot was the man working behind the glass making chocolates. He seemed to genuinely enjoy children and was smiling and waving at them, which the kids loved.
