This is the second time I have been here and I am starting to think it is a little overhyped in my opinion. I got the Carmel miso matcha and I found the matcha to be a bit grassy. The syrup flavor is very good, but I think there needs to be more of it because once it's mixed into the drink you can hardly taste it anymore. The miso Carmel flavor was light, but had a decent miso flavor in the beginning with a slight sweetness Carmel finish. I did get to try their sourdough cinnamon roll is it was very yummy. The main flavor comes from the sweet icing, but there is a very good ratio of cinnamon filling to icing to roll ratio. I will say that the sweetness of the roll did overpower the matcha syrup and the slight sweetness in the drink was significantly less prominent. The people here are very nice and have some good recommendations, and let you pick with pastry you want out of the case. I recommend coming early to get the best selection and beet the lines.

10's across the board! I'll just this... it's been about 2 months from when I last came and I'm STILL thinking about it. With the matcha and specialty coffee craze, let's just say there's many out there and many miss the mark. Honey Veil has the complete package. Location, vibe, product and service. It's a long drive for me, I reside in North Miami and this is deep in South Miami. It's worth the trip tenfold! I had the Pistachio Milk, Strawberry matcha. To die for! Can't wait to be back!!

Totally worth the line ! This was my first time trying honey veil after hearing great things about the matcha. They had a pretty long line that wrapped around the building but it moved quickly. I purchased the last slice of banana bread (was delish!) but I was one of the last 10 customers before they closed, so I think it's pretty normal to sell out of baked goods. The space was very clean despite the fact that it was very full and almost every table was taken. There wasn't any trash left behind! As far as my drink, the matcha flavor was very strong and the banana bread flavor was creamy and not too sweet the topping was pretty sweet and very THICK which made for a really balanced flavor. I would come back to try another drink !

This in spot in South Miami is great!! The service was faster than I expected because it was busy. Although, everything came out fairly quick and fresh. They had just taken the cinnamon rolls out of the oven...fun fact they are made with sourdough! Absolutely delicious. The banana bread tastes more like a banana cake imo, it was good but not great. The coffee was very yummy, I love the honey whip cream they make. I have a honey vanilla oatmilk iced latte with the honey whip on top. It was perfect, not too sweet and not too bitter. My mom had the maple brown oatmilk iced latte with the honey whip as well, she loved it. She said it was better than Starbucks. Definitely coming back whenever in the area. Such a cute spot! I love that they have so many matcha options as well, gotta bring my matcha loving friends. There's street parking available usually or a lot about a block down the street.

Absolutely stunning coffee and treats! Went to their pop-up shop in downtown on a Saturday morning and it was the perfect location. The line was long but surprisingly moving fast. Their cinnamon rolls were warm, fluffy and the perfect amount of sweet. The chocolate chip cookie was gooey and moist. I got a loaf of sourdough bread to take home which was amazing. The star of the show was the matcha and latte. Totally worth going and giving it a try.

I can never get enough of this place! The owners and their family members are always there and they are so friendly and happy. I've been here on multiple occasions and they are always consistent, the matcha is incredible as always. The cinnamon rolls are always soft and delicious, and I've had their brownies on a few occasions (they didn't have them in stock today) and they are always so good. Their trailer is currently in front of Dragonfly Thrift Boutique, but sometimes they are at UM (University of Miami). I've visited their trailer at Dragonfly Thrift Boutique a few times where they have free parking. There is ALWAYS some sort of a line, but they take orders pretty quickly in my opinion for the amount of customers they have on a day to day basis. To avoid waiting, you can preorder your food and drinks. Hoping they open their storefront location soon which I'll definitely visit!

Tried the Matcha that has vanilla syrup. First taste was of course grassy but not bad. But when you mix it up it has a good vanilla flavor. The foam on top is delicious. Also tried the banana bread latte. Again, foam on top was super delicious and it really does taste like banana bread. Will definitely be back to try more. Also tried their cinnamon roll which was delicious and not too sweet and their carrot cake which was sweeter and also really good. Everyone is very nice and the orders come out very quickly.

I visited this weekend for the first time (i know, im late to the party..) but really enjoyed it! I placed my order online, upon arrival it was hassle free, you have to advise you've arrived, and they make your drink on the spot. So no line- yay! If you order onsite, there is a long line to pay, and then you wait for your drink to be ready... While waiting they mentioned the cinnamon rolls had just come out of the over so i had to try it- glad i did. It was warm, soft, frosting was awesome! It was really the best i've had in a while! My drink was the New York Matcha, i was not so sure about the strawberry at the bottom, but i had to go for it since it seemed to be the most popular drink- loved it! Gotta say these girls have a nice business going on, delicious drinks and fresh baked goods that make your weekend sweeter! Loved visiting and supporting a new cute local business! *food truck. There is no seating in the area, it's more of a to-go spot.

Update as of July 3 2025: On my day off I checked their Instagram and saw that they were at Red Roads with east parking. I knew that I had to go ! The last time I went was for a pop up. I was so impressed by all the improvements that have been made by the team. The order was taken and in less that a minute I had my matcha ! I ordered the : - Honey Veil Matcha with honey foam - Cinnamon Roll - Raspberry cake Everything tasted delicious. The pastries have so much flavor . You can taste how fresh the ingredients are. Best matcha in Miami hands down. I love how it's owned by two sisters. Dietitian approved ! They have a BIG fan in me .

I visited this place at it was highly recommended online and I wanted to see what the hype was all about. My daughter and I ordered their famous Matcha and cinnamon rolls... First let me say customer service was excellent.. the flavor of the cinnamon rolls were a No for me.. the matcha was also a No for my daughter and I.. the prices were reasonable, however, the flavor wasn't there.. I highly suggest you try it and see for yourselves only because they have other items on their menu.. We also purchased a loaf of sourdough bread but not something I would go crazy over .

this place had a line out the door for their soft opening and for good reason. this is the first spot in miami that's reminiscent of the la matcha culture, and the prices reflect it too but i'm happy to support young business owners and UM! the banana matcha was out of this world and the crème top was the perfect complement. i'm in love with the syrup i. this it tastes like genuine banana, none of that artificial laffy taffy taste. the caramel satin was also super on point! the dirty matcha was also great and the espresso and matcha notes come through very well. the yuzu matcha is def an acquired taste. not my fave but it's a good option for those who don't want something as dairy heavy and instead are looking for something that's more citrusy forward. overall i hope this spot succeeds and brings some life back to the sunset place area.

Very nice staff and super cute ambiance!! We got the maple and honey iced lattes and they were both delicious and the wipped honey was insane! Would definitely recommend

A few coworkers are obsessed with this truck, so when we learned it was on campus, we walked over together. I love that this is a small, family-owned business. The set up was a bit chaotic - but they had a long line. I opted for the strawberry matcha, with their signature whipped honey on top. It was simply delicious; I loved the whipped honey topping - it was the perfect little sweet treat. Additionally, I tried one of the cinnamon rolls, which was great - and I can only imagine it warm. My coworkers shared their treats as well - I really enjoyed the match bread (although the icing was VERY sweet), and the rose raspberry loaf (floral isn't my favorite in general, so I won't hold it against them). Overall, it is a fun concept with a good product!
