We were in Maricopa for a medical appointment and wanted to avoid rush hour on a trip back so we decided to stop for a cup of coffee. This place seems very small town mom and pop - - the kind of thing you find up in Pinetop or Snowflake. They've added some of the plastic greenery panels and a lovely light fixture to give it a little flair on one side but the other side has shelves with T-shirts, crafts, jewelry and those little signs with clever sayings. When we arrived there were quite a few people, both in line and waiting for their orders. I think they had received a lot of online orders because the line was backed up and quite slow while the girl caught up with making orders. There was only her and a young man making food. When we finally got up to the counter, we had to wait a bit before she came to take our order. We ordered an iced latte, an iced white mocha, and a chocolate croissant. The coffee here is really, really good. The croissant was not really a croissant as I know it--it was more bread-y than light and flaky, and the chocolate was more like a ganache instead of the chocolate you usually get. It was good, just different. A second girl had come, and we got our order really quickly. This is the kind of place that the locals gather. Cute coffee shop just off the main road. We stopped to grab something before heading to Tucson. I had the egg white bites and a cappuccino, which were both really good. $18 for two drinks,one small and one large,I was told my total with tax was $15, my recieipt had $18 charged, not once did I hit tip, they're machine added $3 on for a tip I did not approve, the small was $6 and it most definitely was small, nothing special added, to automatically add a tip to someone's card is something I'd advise to pay attention to when ordering, let's just say our first time experience will be our last time as well. read more

An incredibly cute cafe with a great atmosphere. I've been searching for a place to sit and do work on my breaks since the Starbucks in town was far too busy and crowded... this space is wonderful! Plenty of seating (with outlets!) including comfy chairs to relax in and local arts and crafts for sale. The food is also great, coffee and smoothies are refreshing and they serve the best pretzel with beer cheese! Definitely stop by and pay them a visit. read more

The service here was some of the best service I've ever received at a coffee shop. I asked the cashier what regulars loved and she recommended an iced white mocha, so I got that with oat milk. The prices are very reasonable, especially compared to the coffee shops I frequent in Scottsdale. I also ordered a croissant sandwich with egg, cheddar cheese (it isn't sharp), and turkey bacon. The sandwich itself was very bland, and the large croissant (catered from Le Chef Bakery) overpowered the minimal toppings. The turkey bacon was very good though, and I liked that they crisped the croissant so it was crunchy and flaky. I ultimately wouldn't get it again. The coffee tasted very artificial and left a bitter taste in my mouth. I really wanted to love this place as the ladies behind the counter were so kind and joyful. I must say the place was also packed on a random weekday, so others seem to love it! The inside has lots of seating and is quiet enough for people to work or chat. read more

This coffee shop is so delicious because they have a wide variety of syrups , they have their own menu for all the syrups . They sell delicious food and aswell wine and drinks . The ambience is very relaxing and welcoming . The workers are very friendly . My favorite part is that they have different choices for the milk types like coconut or almond etc.. I ordered a dry iced vanilla Americano and paid extra for the vanilla flavor, but my drink was made incorrectly. It was just full of water and espresso with no vanilla added. When I brought it up, the manager was extremely rude and did not acknowledge the mistake or apologize. Instead, she questioned what "dry" meant and told me that she was the manager and that's how an Americano should be made. I informed her that "dry" meant a splash of water. Why do you guys offer that if you don't know how to make it? A simple apology and willingness to fix the order would have made a big difference. This place needs a new manager. read more

Their cold brew is absolutely delicious! Also my go to place for cheese danishes. I decided to try the Oreo churro today and I am so glad I did, it was crunchy, warm and Oreo-y as in it actually tasted like an Oreo. I've had some of their other baked goodies, and enjoyed them all. My only complaint was that the last time I got a brookie it tasted kind of freezer burned. I'd try it again though because their baked good are normally solid. read more

I stopped by Honeycutt Coffee while waiting to meet up with a friend in Maricopa. I was really impressed by the vast array of offerings from Honeycutt's menu. In addition to having a full coffee menu, they also have bunch and lunch eats to accompany your beverage. I ordered an iced matcha latte and was very impressed with the flavor and the value provided. It was a very large drink at a very reasonable price. I also really liked the ambiance of Honeycutt Coffee, especially in that they have little booths of merchandise from local crafty folks. Popped in quickly for a coffee and light breakfast. I'm in town visiting and like to try to support local businesses when I travel. The location is smaller than I expected it to be but the decor was adorable. Breakfast sandwich is a build your own option. Choosing your bread, protein and cheese. I do wish I could have added some veggies to it. Omelette was smaller than most restaurants and it doesn't come with a side but we knew that when we ordered it and it was exactly what we had hoped for. My caramel macchiato was good, a little too sweet for me but I didn't add an extra shot or two like I normally do. Likely my fault. We absolutely love this place and are frequent customers. The atmosphere and coffee are usually amazing, which is why we keep coming back. Unfortunately, on our most recent visit, my wife ordered a sugar-free coffee before her doctor's appointment, and it ended up not being sugar-free. She has gestational diabetes, so monitoring her blood sugar is extremely important. We're not upset and understand mistakes happen -- we just wanted to bring this to attention and kindly ask that staff please be extra mindful with sugar-free orders, as they can be medically necessary for some customers. Was in maricopa and decided to give this local favorite a try! The inside is so cute. This place doubles as a wine bar and has that mom and pop feel. It was pretty busy around 11am and I loved that people were hanging out and playing games. It seems like the place to be! We were greeted by the staff and they were very welcoming! I was asking a bunch of questions and they were eager to help. I tried one of their signature lattes (cinnamon roll latte) with oat milk! It was a pretty complex drink so I was a little apprehensive but it actually blended really well together. Not too overwhelmingly sweet and definitely flavorful! We also ordered a big case of their house coffee for an open house tomorrow as this place is a local favorite! If you're in the area check them out! This was my favorite coffee shop when we first moved here. They have the best white mocha in town hands down. Their customer service is just so unwelcoming and subpar. There used to be a fabulous lady that remembered our order and name and always had a smile on her face. We came in every day! We tipped very well every time.. But one day she was gone and this gloomy girl took her place. I absolutely dread going in there now because of how she makes me feel. No eye contact, no attempt at a smile, just a mute toned face.. and I don't feel bad not tipping anymore because of her attitude. This place would have such a different bright vibe like it used to; it should it has such wonderful drinks and decor.. but you can feel the misery in the building now.. so I rather pay extra for my white mocha at another cafe that makes me feel welcomed for spending my hard earn money there. The person working at 5pm on Thursday September 18th was awful. Zero concern for how she acted in front of customers. No hi, no smile. Throwing stuff in the back kitchen. Bagel was sloppily put together with cream cheese. Barely had any. She told us all they had were frozen cake pops with attitude. No music in the background. I wish I would have filtered by newest reviews before going here. Cheese Danish tastes like nothing. The coffee is horrible. I asked for oat milk and was definitely given regular. My first sip was cold milk- opened the lid to see terribly steamed "foam" , the coffee tastes burnt and bitter. The "hot" coffee is lukewarm warm at best. The service was horrible so I don't even want to ask them to make it again because they look pissed you're there. And then someone walking around in there with their dog and then sitting at a table and putting their dog on their lap so the whole upper body and head are on the table where people eat. Disgusting. It's so dark in there which seems like it could be a vibe but because everyone's energy is that they hate life, it's just depressing. Not the best start to the morning. read more

Cute little shop for Maricopa! The only one in town like this so it can get busy. The service is efficient and every time we have cam in they have been nice! They serve up lots of food options and coffee. Previously we have gotten to go egg sandwich and lattes and they were solid pre flight fuel! I would say this place is focused on to go style affair. It seems to me like this place is half coffee half food here with a slight emphasis on the food. I say this because they don't have proper cups for espresso drinks. They use to go cups and only have typical coffee mugs for drip coffee. Coffee: More acidic, slightly burnt (not in a bad way) somewhat Starbucks ish which adds up as many of the drinks are tailored for add-in's rather than plain. (Many people were ordering lots of fun drinks) Food: Solid sandwiches and what others were ordering was making me want to order more. Overall: I would come back when I'm running in/out of town but not to just get coffee. They serve what a lot of what people want solid food and coffee drinks with fun flavors and add-ins. I really wanted to like this place.. they need more employees or something. My food took so long, it was just a salad wrap.. and I think it took 30 mins for a to go order. I watched multiple people order after me and then get their food before me. When I asked about it, I was told "well sandwiches are quicker." Than a salad??? When I finally got my food, the girl was really rude. I had some fries in the car on the way home and they were not even hot.. not sure if I pissed off the teenagers working there and they just decided to let me food sit there or what.. First time here and not sure what all the hoopla is about.Arrived on Saturday at 1 PM, totally out of salad greens so no salads. Paid for the order and on my debit card which automatically added a 20% tip and went to processing. I said I did not want to tip and the girl couldn't return the tip, couldn't refund the order, said you'll just have to talk to a manager later and get your money back, she couldn't do anything at all. So waited for the order. The turkey pesto sandwich was soggy. A 'burst' of customers is not 'busy' and there was no way you could call 2 tables 'busy', if they're understaffed that's a management problem, but there was a line of customers at the register and instead of making our coffee drinks she just continued to take orders, so I get it. Somebody has to wait, but it should not be the customer who just ordered and has to wait and wait again for a drink while your food order is just sitting there. . The Frappuccino was good. I stated right there at the coffee counter I ordered, I paid, I received my sandwich, I received my Frappuccino and I have not received one thank you from anybody.Instead of a thank you she just shrugged her shoulders and she walked away. So not totally impressed. The food was just not very good. They're out of stuff and all the clerks had that 'I don't give a crap' attitude. A Girl brought the sandwich out, said nothing, I asked didn't it come w chips. She said yeah, turned around and walked away. OK so I guess you're on your own. Anyway I know the owner operates A Latte Vino, that's why we came all the way to Maricopa, and that's closing down but why this would stay open I have no clue. I'm a chef, a small business owner and could see 100 different ways this could have been a decent experience.
