I took months off from coming here due to my last bad experience. I decided to give it another try, but unfortunately I won't be back. I waited about 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged or served me. I ordered two savory empanadas and asked if they could be heated up. The employee took them to the back, which I thought was a little unusual, but when they brought them back they still weren't warm. I also asked for their green sauce (the cilantro mayo sauce they're known for), and was told it wasn't made yet. That sauce is honestly what takes the empanadas to another level, so hearing it wasn't available was disappointing. I also ordered a slice of carrot cake. In the past I would've rated it a 10/10, but this time it felt pretty mid. 1/24/26: not worth a repeat visit. We had lunch in the area but instead of getting dessert there, we wanted to try a new bakery & Cielito was the choice. Parking wasn't a problem, and the place has some very cute decor inside. I was very disappointed they did not have more beverage options for non-coffee drinkers. They had a few energy drinks but I was planning to take a nap afterwards so didn't want that buzz. LOL! My sister ordered the strawberry matcha, said it was too syrupy and the matcha was too powdery. We arrived around 3 pm and the self-serve items were pretty bare, though now I see they close at 6 pm. Perhaps the selection would have been wider had we arrived earlier in the day -- and perhaps the sweets we did purchase would have been fresher as well. We picked up only three items: alfajores, dulce de leche pastry, and some kind of Danish-looking item. The alfajores broke apart too easily into small crumbs, the dulce de leche was a bit dry, and the Danish thing was not overly sweet. Neither of the items curbed my sugar craving. Suck nice staff, I got there right before closing and was not expecting what I walked into, not only is it a bakery café but also they sell vendor items next door at a cute little boutique called Secret Oasis Shop that you energy thru the Cafe. Love it! I picked up some sweets as i had some friends coming over to sit by the fire and drink cocoa and these went fabulously with it. Everyone enjoyed their treat. The pink vibes and floral aesthetics is what drew me to checking Cielito out. I wanted to try their peach strawberry tea but they were out of strawberry so I was able to get mango instead. Tasted really good! The worker at the register is also the one making the drinks so it does take some time to get your drinks. A couple other workers greeted me but it seemed like only 1 was working ringing up customers and making drinks. The treats look really good and I was excited to try the puerquitos but these were really dry and hard. I wasnt a fan. I would not recommend. I love getting them from food city. The macrons were cutely decorated for halloween with hocus pocus theme but it tasted awful. It was very disappointing. There was also a fly that kept pestering my friend and I. We came by early afternoon and bought two churros, a sweet empanada, a concha, a 24oz matcha tea, and a 16oz horchata. The pastries were just downright horrible. The drinks were good though. The interior decoration was great. The music was Mexican club music; so not the usual relaxing music you'd find in a cafe. Overall, our bill came out to $20.27. Wow! What a lovely place with friendly service! The shop is aesthetically pleasing with deserts well displayed. What we got: Banana cake roll: Great! Moist, with whipped frosting that did not have the fake banana taste, but more of a slightly lemony tang, which tasted more like perfect banana. Not over ripe, but just getting soft. Pineapple cake roll: Subtle & very pleasing flavor. Loved it STAR of the show was the Red Velvet Cinnamon roll. Now, we came in here late, so the pastry was not fresh...the actual pastry part could have been less rubbery, but the cream cheese, and chocolate, with red velvet cake sprinkled...all worth while. I want to go there again soon & take a picture of my red velvet crumb mustache!!!! Croissant: Get this at a French bakery instead. Mot flakey, abut mushy in texture. Just tasted like white bread. I got a brownie, alfajores cookie, dulce de leche empanada, banana chocolate chip bread, and a pumpchata latte. The alfajores cookie was great--light and airy so easy to crumble-but great. The banana bread was dry and had a weird aftertaste, the filling for the empanada was almost gone but the crust was beautiful and good. The brownie was good. The drink was ok. It had a floral aftertaste that I found weird since it was a pumpkin horchata drink. They have the cute heart straws and the space is clean. Staff was sweet and quick with making the drink. I've wanted to stop by here and finally got the chance. Wow! The inside of this lovely shop is beautiful and everything is eye catching. I'm a huge dessert lover and have tried two desserts so far: the Oreo tres leches and carrot cake. Both of these are super delicious in my opinion. cielito rosa is a girly-girl's dream vibe come true for a cute and safe space to yap and enjoy cafecito. Everything was pink, flowery, and clean. service was nice and friendly. I opted for the butterfly latte and at first I was taken aback by the steep price tag but everything is expensive these days so I kind of get it. But darn this was one of the pricier spots I've had and I go to a lot of coffee shops! Either way the latte was delicious and well balanced. All flavors stood out but not overpowering either one and just the right amount of sweetness. there was a nice selection of pastries and goodies ti satisfy both sweet and savory taste buds. We picked a few of eaach and shared and it was a nice selection. Mexican empanada, hand and cheese, and strawberry and cheese danish. I felt like the savory empanadas had good potential with flavor but were SO lacking with filling. It was mostly air and shell. Barely any filling on both. The strawberry danish was better filled and flavorful and it too sweet either. Next time I'll be back for just a latte and sweet treat. read more

Umm so this is the panadería of my dreams. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would Obviously, the decor here is stellar. It's feminine, pink, and flowery. The aesthetic is so carefully thought of at Cielito Rosa that even their conchas are pastel colored and their straws are heart shaped. I love how even down to the tiniest detail, the aesthetic is gorgeously executed I didn't even know this place existed tbh. My bf was at a sandwich shop nearby and when I saw this place from outside, I knew I wanted to check it out. I wish I was hungry at the time to purchase a pan, but I got a latte only so I could at least try something from here Matcha latte -- 9/10. Overall very tasty and satisfying. The smallest cup is rather small and at $8 post-tip for it, it seemed to be more expensive than it was worth considering the size. But there was a cute butterfly garnish on top of the beverage and the straw has heart-shaped, so it was tasty AND charming I don't live in AZ, I live in CA but I will DEFINITELY be back the next time I'm in town :D read more

Made the drive to check this place out. It's promoted as a coffee shop but it definitely is much more like a bakery. They have a lot of pastries and coffee options but not many savory options and none that appeared to be prepared in the moment. The treats are delicious! The coffees were all way too sweet and weren't really anything that couldn't be done at home but the space looked lovely. This is such a darling little place! Some coworkers and I met here and I must say it's a gorgeous place! All of the pastries looked absolutely amazing the decorations are gorgeous! I ordered some sort of cookie and I found it to be a little dry, hence the four stars. My strawberry cream cheese croissant though was very good. I also had the strawberry margarita smoothie and I loved it. If you're in the area, I would say definitely give it a try! An Instagrammer's/Tiktok-er's dream! Pink, girly, and cute- right down to the heart shaped straws (which are surprisingly durable)! Cielito Rosa offers various pastries from pan, cookies, cakes, y conchas, as well as tea and coffee. On this trip I had the Pan de Muerto ($3.99) and the fall special drink, a small 16oz iced pecan caramel latte, with oat milk ($8.45). My total came to $15.49. The cost of the iced pecan caramel latte was not posted on the flyer. Also not sure how much the charge was for oat milk as it was not listed on the receipt (although I assume it is listed on the coffee menu). OOF. The thing I'm mad about though, is that I liked it and it cost $8.45; at least $1-2 higher than the average coffee shop. I was offered a stamp card for a free coffee after 9 purchases. Similar to Tous le Jours and 85°, you help yourself to the pastries, place them on a tray, and bring them up to be rang. A small inconvenience is that the name of each pastry is not viewable as you select them, as the names are outwards facing. The pan de muerto was okay, if I am being generous- I have had better from Food City... Still interested in returning to try the other pastries! read more

There are pink flowers on the wall, bright white chairs and tables, and some cherry blossom trees. You grab a tray then serve yourself pastries from the different bins kind of cafeteria style. They have different kinds of tres leches cakes, brownies, savory empanadas, conchas, churro cheesecake, and the list goes on. They also have a selection of coffee and smoothies. I had the Mexican wedding cookies and a strawberry cream cheese Danish with a sugar free vanilla latte. I also tasted someone else's brownie and mushroom empanada. All were SUPER yummy!!!! Really wanted to love Cielito Rosa Bakery & Cafe more. The shop's cute af and totally instagram-worthy, for sure. The vibes are on point, and the drinks we tried were tasty. We grabbed the Butterfly Kisses Latte, which is caramel and lavender (the edible butterfly on top was a nice touch!) and a classic horchata. Both were solid. The pastries were a little hit and miss, though. The pig-shaped gingerbread cookie was good and reminded me of when we used to get these cookies as kids. The macaron tart with strawberries was just okay tho as it was a little soggy from the filling and didn't hold together well because of that. We went midday on a Tuesday, and it was surprisingly busy for a weekday, which probably explains why it took some time to get just two drinks. Plus, the prices were a bit on the higher side for what we got. I liked the detail in decor from the heart straws to the cute plant vases on the table. I was greeted when I walked to the cashier and ordered the signature butterfly kisses latte (caramel with a lavendar foam and edible butterfly). I don't like lavendar or rose flavored things bc I feel like I'm licking lotion or a candle but it was light and actually worked so I didn't mind it. You can also choose the milk you want in it, I got almond milk. Overall it was pretty good. Seems pricey for what it is but hey that's inflation for ya... I had to swing by this cafe before I left town and I am SO GLAD I did. Local small business, woman owned! And you can see all the personal touches in the shop. I was going to get some Hawaiian BBQ next door when this pink coffee shop caught my eye. Although it was 5PM and I knew coffee at this hour would disrupt my sleep schedule, I didn't care. This place is cute! I ordered a Vanilla Rose Latte and got an alfajores. Even with the substitute of almond milk in my vanilla rose latte, it was so creamy with a great mouthfeel from the delightful whipped rose topping. As for the alfajores, what more could you want from a dulce de leche sandwich cookie? It was buttery, crumbly, and had a good amount of filling. The gluttonous side of me wanted more dulce de leche though, but that's because I can get a little crazy when it comes to sweets. ;3 I love this place! Cielito Rosa Bakery & Cafe is a fantastic spot if you're mainly focused on aesthetics and decor. It's great for pics for socials and the little details will make you smile. The heart shaped straws are so cute! The interior was very clean too including the self-serve areas. For self-serve, there are trays, plates, and paper bags available. I didn't see any tongs around for the pastries, but they do have metal spatulas and plastic gloves available. Be careful with the spatula! My pastry nearly slipped off of it. Service was kind, but a little slow. They may want to consider having one more staff member available for weekend morning shifts. The poor cashier was also making drinks and preparing food items by herself! My main focus is on food and drink and unfortunately, most were misses for my partner and me. Out of all the items we tried, the alfajores was the best. I highly recommend getting it. It's so tender and light and not too sweet. The puerquitos were rather dry. The pumpkin empanada had a great crust, but the filling was too sweet. Their jamaica is also very sweet and cinnamon heavy. The strawberry matcha mostly tasted like strawberry and not enough matcha :( Their savory food items looked really good and I regret not trying them. It looks like a lot of customers ordered them, so they must be popular. If I were to return, I would definitely order a savory item instead. I love the overall vibe and concept of Cielito Rosa Bakery & Cafe, so I hope that business can still do well and they can continue to improve. I love that they offer seasonal menu items too.
