Honeygrow in the Lawrence park shopping center is a great place. Third time here and every time has been great. The food is bang'n, it's clean, and Akira and her team are engaging. They communicate with each other well. I love eating here for the food and atmosphere because of Akira and the team.

The food was good. It wasn't very busy when my family went. It was our first time to honeygrow. I had the red curry. It was very tasty. We even enjoyed the cheesecake desert thing. We will be back we enjoyed it. Also the strawberry guava lemonade was awesome. It was very clean and the staff made sure to straighten up during their downtime.

Popped in to pick up a bite to go. The kiosk made it very easy to pick something and customize it to my liking. It was a lot busier than I expected, but the staff was hard at work. The store was very clean. There were a lot of designated spots to return bowls and utensils, or throw out trash.

Still one of our favorite restaurants for Chinese. Friendly staff and most importantly delicious…read morefood. Would highly recommend Wok Fried Shrimp which is a lightly fried shrimp sautéed with ground pork and vegetables definitely one of the must orders. Chicken with scallions and Japanese tofu are also regular favorites.

I haven't ordered from New Leaf in years, and was reminded today of why…read more The shrimp spring rolls were inedible! Greasy...soggy...salted beyond belief and they had a funky taste that's not usually synonymous with "fresh" seafood! It wasn't a question of "if" the shrimp had gone bad...but rather "when" the shrimp went bad. Chicken Fried Rice was bland and uninspired. If you can look beyond the smoky taste of burned oil...there is little else adding flavor or character to the dish. "Fortunately"...I had unused dipping sauce for the inedible spring rolls that I was able to use to " resurrect" this deceased rice dish. Singapore noddles are "OK"... if you like your veggies void of any fresh crunch. The shrimp in the noodles were VERY "shrimpy" tasting...which was an indication that they were in need of a proper burial. I didn't eat them... and would have given them to my dog...but I really love him. Both the rice and noodles would have benefitted from a little salt, but clearly it was all used up in the spring rolls!! Oh the irony. My father always told me that "some lessons in life cost more than others". I should have known better than to go back to the scene of a previous (food) crime, but...I didn't. This was an over priced $37 dollar lesson. I'm just hope that it doesn't come with a side of food poisoning!

Buyer BEWARE!! To start...this is very good Thai food. On…read morepar with any of my favorite Thai restaurants. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were very generous! This was my first visit to this restaurant, so I ordered my go to favorites. Drunken noodles with chicken, and Thai basil fried rice with chicken. I ordered extra chicken with the noodles as I had read another review saying that the dish was "vegetable heavy"...which I didn't find to be the case. I do think I may have been disappointed had I not doubled the chicken, but that's only because the overall portion was big, and there may not have been enough chicken to "balance" the other elements of the dish. My only criticism is this... (And it's significant) I ordered medium spice level, as I like a little "kick"...and these dishes were so hot that they were nearly unbearable to eat! Painful going in...and likely to be painful going out!! I have NEVER had a Thai dish prepared any hotter. EVER! My eyes were watering so much so that I couldn't see, my lips and throat were burning...and I was dripping sweat. To be honest, I kinda wondered if the cook was about to quit... and this was going to be his way of sticking it to the owner! ;) I can't imagine what a "spicy" choice in preparation would have tasted like. Well truthfully...it's likely I wouldn't have been able to taste anything! I'm anything but a wimp when it comes to spicy food. (I travel with packets of hot pepper blend for crying out loud). But the way this was prepared to a "MEDIUM" spice level...was OBSCENELY hot! And it took away of the enjoyment of eating what I'm sure is otherwise really good Thai food. I won't hesitate to return...after I heal...but I will definitely be making some changes to my "heat level" request! Don't say I didn't warn ya!
