It's hard to rank business when you are virtually the only customers in it. We stopped in for happy hour at around 4 o'clock on a Friday. The place was deserted. Ordered a couple of cocktails, which were just OK although the bartender was quite friendly and did spoof my drink a bit because he saw that I thought it was too weak by a long shot. So friendly service. Because it was so depressing we didn't stay to eat. Maybe we would've if there had been somewhat of a social scene but damn man this place is really gone south in terms of foot traffic- it used to be crazy busy. read more

Years ago, P.F. Chang's was one of my favorite dining experiences. Sadly, things have changed. The quality of the food just isn't what it used to be. Food menu options are way more limited as well. The table where I was seated was sticky and was still wet with water puddles, not cleaned very well since the last guest. The Mandarin crunch salad I ordered was wilted, with the greens soaked in what appeared more like a soup than a salad dressing. The oranges were mushy and the cashews were replaced by peanuts. Can't recommend. The wine was the final pour of the bottle and was well past its prime. Lastly, how does one ruin a fortune cookie? These are cloyingly sweet. read more

1 Star - Bring Your Own Plates (and a Life Vest) Where do I even start with this experience? We arrived for our 7:30 reservation, excited for a nice date night. The hostess greeted us, led us to our table...and surprise! It was still covered in remnants of the previous guests -- crayons, crumbs, and chaos. Instead of seating us at literally any of the 20 empty (and clean!) tables nearby, she just gave it a quick wipe-down. Half the table. The other half? Let's call it the "vintage" side. No utensils, no plates, no problem...except, actually, big problem. And the lighting? Think less "romantic dinner" and more "FBI interrogation." I've had dental X-rays with softer ambiance. Then I notice the puddle beside our table. Like, an actual puddle. The hostess said she'd clean it up. Spoiler alert: she did not. It stayed with us the entire meal like a third guest -- we named it Splashy. Now, our server Tyler -- bless her heart -- told us it was her first day off orientation. Honestly, I think she should've asked for a few more. We sat for 20 minutes before having to ask for water, she only brought us 1 water, I guess we were sharing? When we ordered the Street Noodles, she had to ask if they were new...and we had to show her the menu to prove they existed. A plot twist none of us expected. When the lettuce wraps came out (still no utensils or plates), we got up and borrowed some from the empty table next to us. True DIY dining. My entrée came out before my husband's because, and I quote, "the kitchen is backed up." So I had the joy of awkwardly eating solo while he stared hungrily at me. Romantic! By the end, I wasn't even mad anymore -- just impressed by how consistently bad it all was. The puddle was still there when we left, glistening in the bright light like a final goodbye. This was takeout, portion size was good, service was good, looking of dishes with below average, and taste was poor, very poor. Some items were almost tasteless like the sweet and sour soup. It has been years since I have been to a P.F. Chang's, so I knew a visit was long overdue. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted upon one of the sweetest hostess ever. I wish I would've gotten her name. I did however get the name of my server, Sabreena. She was also very kind. I ordered the espresso martini, and it is definitely the sweetest espresso martini I've ever had, which I did not mind at all. For food, I got the lunch special where I did the vegetable spring roll, lo mein, and Korean friend chicken. All tasted great! And for dessert I just had to get the Great Wall of Chocolate (not pictured because I got to go). I am very happy that I decided to give P.F. Chang's another chance! read more

Lunch specials are...well, special! The customer service here is great, making this an easy choice for a lunch bite. The decor? Oh I LOVE the gold and black walls, the red chairs and booths, it's just so chic. Hubby and I stopped here for a lunch that wasn't deep fried. We both were able to get lunch specials that included soup, a nice portion of stir fried beef and vegetable, and lo mein noodles. Service was quick, attentive, and highly efficient. A Chinese restaurant masquerading as a higher end facade, the giant horse outside helps identify the store no matter where you go. Inside, seats and tables with some booths, and a bar with $5 specials from 4-7pm on weekdays. TVs too. The waiter took a couple tries to bring hot water... First two tries were ice water and cold water with no ice... Not a great start. Chef's Feast is a $19/ppl, individual soup/salad, group entree, and one main per person. You are able to get it for less people than at the table, so we had 3 ppl share 2 which was good sizing not to be too full. Hot & sour was more hot & sweet, a tiny bit sour. Nice amount of tofu and chicken inside, so not watery or gel-like. The dumplings we had with the sauce on the side, pan fried they were great on their own. The sauce was a bit too salty. The beef lo mein has a lot of veggies, beef was a little tough because deep fried I think, and a bit soppy with liquid at the bottom but otherwise flavor was good. A few less veggies and it'd be a better lo mein. The sesame chicken was very lightly breaded and actually reminded me more of a sweet and sour chicken. Again, overly done with the peppers, onions and broccoli. Should be mostly chicken over a bed of steamed broccoli. The dessert we added on for $8, a chocolate cake nicknamed the Chocolate Wall cake, it was a giant piece, easily shareable. Pretty good cake, though the frosting a bit sweet. Six layers at least! Lastly, I had to ask for fortune cookies after paying the bill... That's a first for any Chinese restaurant. Normally it comes with or after, either way. Also when getting plates for dessert, they were all wet and full of water.. no good for dessert. They gave us some paper napkins to wipe it off ourselves... Overall food was ok, and while I've had much better Chinese food, it's ok for some dishes and probably solves an itch for folks. On Saturday, before Mother's Day, we walked into this P.F. Chang's with a large order. Items were printed from their own menu, along with photos and prices. We spoke directly to the manager, handed him our order, and told him we would pick it up on Sunday, Mother's Day, at noon. He assured us that it would be ready and stated he would personally see that we had sufficient sauces and chopsticks. On Mother's Day our daughter stopped by to pick up the order and was given two bags. When she inquired if this was everything, she was told that yes, it was. When she arrived about three minutes later at our house we discovered that only TWO of the original SEVEN entrees were in the order, several multiples of sides we ordered were shorted and there were four packs of chopsticks. My daughter and my husband returned to P.F.Chang's and spoke to the manager. He stated the missing items were in the kitchen and his original "apology" was to give us a piece of lava cake! When my daughter persisted and told him we had family waiting at home with no food, he reluctantly agreed to issue a credit to our card for the missing items. When the refund was received, it was short approximately $56 dollars. Having wasted enough time with this issue, we opted to post this Yelp review. A month ago we ordered a to go order and spent 70 bucks and the spare ribs had literally nothing to eat on 3 of the ribs and they are expensive. The honey chicken was not great again. What has happened to their quality and taste of food. We haven't eaten at one for almost a year because of bad food at the Christiana Mall location. So we decided to try the Glen Mills, PA location instead now a year later. The soup tasted like dish water. No flavor in the broth. Two small pieces of chicken, two baby shrimp and a load of spinach. The chicken lettuce wraps tasted different as well. Lettuce wrap was very limp not crisp as it used to be. Another restaurant we will not be coming back to as the food has gone downhill. Service was awful, Manager was rude, Gift Cards were questioned. Evidently all has changed from menu to customer service from great to awful. Asked server about Happy Hour as advertised on website from 4PM to 6PM, she had no clue but would ask her manager. Manager came over and asked if we had questions. I replied regarding Happy Hour? He replied yes then handed us a card with Happy Hour offerings without any explanations and just walked away. We ordered apps and didn't realize things changed and sauces to dumplings were poured I tin them by server where as prior we were able to pour our own onto our plate. Spare ribs were served with some type of seeds on top where as before no seeds. Honey Chicken was served already tossed in save before but this time no! Chicken was dry but server did bring out honey sauce and apologized for forgetting Bill cane and we gave $200 in gift cards but serve came back and said only $175 registered. We corrected her and said there was $200. Served came back 10 minutes later and said Manager figured out the problem. All $209 was processed. WORST FOOD AND SERVICE! Will never go back. read more

I haven't been to PF Changs in years. I was looking for a place that would be convenient for a friend for a Friday night happy hour. We opted to sit at the bar. My friend wanted a certain drink and the bar tender happened to remember exactly what she ordered for her last visit. We put an appetizer in before our meal. I thought it took a little longer for our entrees to come out. The crab wontons were cripsy and hot. I ordered the crispy honey chicken and upgraded to fried rice. The chicken was okay but it had more breading than chicken. The fried rice was awful, adding soy sauce did not make it taste any better. The Asian pear mojito was my favorite! Definitely a must try. The people that worked the bar were very attentive and helpful. I wished the food tasted a little better. read more

P.F. Chang's used to be my favorite go-to place for kids' birthday. we went again this year, and I would say I was not impressed with food. They have shared the parking lot. You won't find any issues finding parking. As you enter the restaurant, you will be greeted and pretty much you can pick anywhere because it was mostly empty when we went. We started off with tofu lettuce wrap, Edamame. Tofu lettuce wrap was excellent, and we ordered one more. For the entree, we ordered Buddha feast stir fry, Singapore noodles, and side white rice. Then for kids meal we ordered vegetable lo mien. We ordered buddha feast but stir-fried, but it came as regular and not great taste or flavor. very bland. Singapore noodles are definitely worth ordering, and we all liked it. Kids Lo mein had no flavor at all and very bland, and we had to add sauce to finish it. for dessert, we ordered the chocolate great wall and apple crunch, and we all enjoyed it. I can easily say this has become a place of not liking. We used to be here for special occasions. read more

I usually do not write negative reviews, but considering the abysmal experience I had here, I must write one so other people don't get the same experience/treatment. There were around 8 of us, and when we say down, all the bowls plates and cutlery that we got were dirty, they were obviously the used ones with a bunch of old rice still left in the bowls. They brought new ones for us, but it was still dirty. We didn't even order our food yet. I forgot what my group ordered individually, but we had bowls of fried rice to share and I had the salmon. It was so dry and tough that I thought for was chicken breast. My group also agreed that the rice tasted like it was left out for an entire day before being served to us. I can't say for the rest of the food, but I can only imagine as no one finished their meal. When we paid for the bill, they conveniently left out the itemized receipt that automatically added a gratuity bill. The only redeeming factor was our waitress, who did come to check on us often and tried to fix the issues as much as she could, but my god I have never had such a terrible dining experience. Please do not come here, if you are looking for Chinese American food, please visit a local one. read more

The place is decorated in a nice way, traditional PF Chang decor. We were welcomed in. But the experience wasn't great. Maybe we went on a slow night because service was slow, we never got a drink ordered, and by the time the food came we were tired and ready to go so we just boxed it up. The server apologized but this is an area where we have different options and we will exercise that right to do so. First time, last time. Our server, Averina, was very friendly, but she severed us food that was for the whole table that had shrimp in it after we had told her my wife had a seafood allergy. The decor of the restaurant is nice. The food is worse than what I would expect at an Asian fast-food restaurant. The dumplings did not taste fresh made, and if I had to guess, they were bought frozen. The Beef Lo Mein is more like Ramen Noodles they were awful. The beef wasn't bad, but there isn't much of it in the dish. My daughter loves shrimp tempura. She ate one piece and did something she very rarely does. She sent it back to the kitchen. For her, it was not edible. It was served cold, so that also suggests it is not fresh. In our opinion, it is made hours ahead of time or it is bought pre-made(nasty). The Wonton Soup was crazy! Wonton Soup, in my experience, has always been broth, some scallions, and Wontons. We ordered a large Wonton Soup for the whole table. The large bowl of Wonton Soup they served us had mushrooms, water chestnuts, some green leafy stuff, and little baby SHRIMP. Luckily, my daughter noticed the shrimp before my wife had any. The Wantons were very small, and there wasn't very many in the bowl. None of us liked it, and we barely ate any of it. The California Roll was also not flavorful, and because we had already sent the Shrimp Tempura back, we felt embarrassed to also send back the California Roll. The Beef Fried Rice was good, but not much beef. The Chicken Lettuce Wrap was not bad. How P.F. Chang's stay in business is baffling to me. They staff did the best they could with what this chain restaurant gives them to work with. My how the mighty have fallen. Well, a mighty chain restaurant of former glory anyhow. Let me just say, if it weren't for the iconic signature lettuce wraps I'm not sure exactly what Changs would have going for it. The service exemplifies the word amateur and the food is, well, nothing close to special. Yes, the lettuce wraps are still a Changs feature and they've done nothing to compromise them...I mean, how would they...nonetheless, they're still a great snack. My companion also enjoyed her Wonton Soup being pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of various ingredients providing great flavor and texture. I did not enjoy the Tempura Calamari, while my companion did. I found them flavorless however the texture was pleasing. The Steamed Pork Dumplings, while tender, were also flavorless even after smothering with soy sauce. My Salt & Pepper Prawns were excellent; perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the spicy chili dipping sauce had a sneaky heat to it. Worst of all was my Lo Mein. To say it was flavorless would be an offense to cardboard. A liberal dousing with soy sauce proved fruitless. Sad to say but it feels like PF Chang is headed for the history books of chain specialty restaurants as mediocrity has taken hold. read more

I have been to other P F Chang's and never had any issues. Saturday night 8 of us went to this location for dinner. We were seated promptly and the waitress came to ask for drink requests. The manager came to sell the Cranberry ice drink. I ordered. My drink came pretty quick but my children waited over 15 min. Trying to drink from the glass was very difficult. Very strange. They did leave the mixer with more of the drink and when I went to grab it, it spilled all over me, the table, and the floor. I called the waitress over and she brought back paper napkins (the small ones used at the bar)!! I called her again and said to please take the dish that had the drink in it and please have someone clean the floor before someone slips. That didn't happen. Our food came and my daughter received the wrong dinner. Waited 15 min to get the right one. We didn't order more drinks or dessert as the service was awful. One dinner we ordered, the steak was burnt! My daughter asked the waitress to please put the drinks on a separate bill. She put the apps!!! What a horrible experience. I will not return as there are too many places to eat that don't take forever to serve you and don't ignore requests to clean up a spill. You need to do better. read more

My girlfriend and i are doing chain restaurant dates once a month. We kicked it off with P.F. Chang's in Glen Mills. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps were delicious with a perfect mixture of lettuce, meat, and crunch. We ordered the (New!) Beef Teriyaki because of my love for pineapple and it did not disappoint. The Fried Rice that came with it lacked flavor and was equally lukewarm. We also got Chang's Spicy Chicken which was great. Some bites had a serious kick while most were not overwhelmingly spicy (in a good way). The Lo Mein side looked plain but over exceeded our initial expectations. This is the third time I've been to PF Changs and had a "meh" experience. The service was barely tolerable. The food wasn't much better than Panda Express. My hot and sour soup was lukewarm but it took so long to be delivered, that i didn't want to send it back. The waitress didn't come back and check on us until we had finished our soup. She never offered to get me another drink even though my glass was empty, When the food finally came, the mongoliian beef was over cooked to the point of being "crispy". Pretty standard experience for a chain restaurant. Aestetic was pretty standard for what you get in any P.F. Changs restaurant. We were a larger group, so the friendly and helpful demeanor of our waitress was appreciated despite the burden we may have put on her evening. Despite menu options being listed as being served family style, much of our group ordered for themselves or split a meal with a partner. My husband and I chose the Chang's Spicy Chicken to share. We also ordered the dumplings as an appetizer, and the table shared a couple of orders of the lettuce wraps. The Chang's Spicy Chicken wasn't really spicy, but we really enjoyed it. I think "family size" may be a stretch in regards to portion. While we were satisfied after the apps and splitting the dinner, it could be deceiving to others who plan to share with more than one person. All in all, it was a good experience and would probably return. read more

We order PF Chang since our go to Chinese restaurant was closed on Mondays. I was amazed at how horrible the food was. The chicken was dry , brown rice was under cooked to the point it was hard and the vegetables looked days old. Basically the meal looked like it was reheated three day old leftovers. I would let this go and move on with lesson learn don't buy Chinese food on Mondays when your favorite place is closed, but the amount of money that was spent on three meals was exorbitant so I write this in the hope that no one else will be as disappointed as we were. The old adage that you're hungry an hour later after Chinese food is correct only because we could not eat the meal. I actually would give it negative star, like 5 of them! read more
