    Mango sticky rice

My food was delish. I had the mango sticky rice. 5 chicken wings and Thai papaya salad. Food and service was great.

    Crispy Tofu

Overall filling and delicious meal. As an appetizer, we ordered the fried tofu. It could've used some salt even with the peanut chili dip. As my entree, I ordered the Basil Fried Rice with chicken as my protein and medium spice. It had a pleasing appearance, with nicely sliced apples. The dish had good flavor, especially with the Thai basil, along with a slight kick. Music choice was interesting. It ranged from The Weekend to Harry Styles.

I have to agree with my Yelp friend, P.E., this place is 3 stars, maybe 3.5 stars. Tried this place tonight because my go-to Thai place was closed. They have a good selection on their menu, including all the Thai standards, as well as some unusual dishes, like wild boar, and Yakisoba noodles. But to compare apples to apples, I went with Drunken Noodles, which is my standard when I crave Thai. We got everything to go, but when we opened it at home it didn't look promising. Just not the fresh happy food I am used to from my local Thai place, or two new ones I've recently enjoyed in NJ. Still, I reserved judgment for the taste. It was a Drunken Noodle taste, but a little on the cafeteria food side, meaning it tasted like a batch had been made up and this was spooned out from it, after sitting a while. Noodles were more brown than I am used to, like they'd had time to marinate in sauces rather than just being thrown around in seasoning. The noodles were also shedding some of their taught form, breaking apart a little, and getting mushy. Broccoli looked like it had been frozen. Just not what I am used to. My husband said he needed to salt his curry, which he's never ever done before. The mango sticky rice was very good in flavor, but the mango had some bruises on the underside, and elsewhere, was really light colored, like underripe. But it tasted good, so it was more presentation. Prices were on par with the other Thai places in my recent experience, but I'd have to say portions were probably the smallest of all of these places, and quality was definitely lower. If you have a Thai craving, Thai Aroy Dee will satisfy, but in a basics way. Nothing will wow you, and there are a lot of options nearby that will provide a better experience for the same price.

Best thai food in Media, they make it so spicy like the way I want and it is good service too,

I had the curry and it was very bland. They need to redo their flavors and spices for their meals.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, so I ordered my go to favorites. Drunken noodles with chicken, and Thai basil fried rice with chicken. I ordered extra chicken with the noodles as I had read another review saying that the dish was "vegetable heavy"...which I didn't find to be the case. I do think I may have been disappointed had I not doubled the chicken, but that's only because the overall portion was big, and there may not have been enough chicken to "balance" the other elements of the dish. My only criticism is this... (And it's significant) I ordered medium spice level, as I like a little "kick"...and these dishes were so hot that they were nearly unbearable to eat! Painful going in...and likely to be painful going out!! I have NEVER had a Thai dish prepared any hotter. EVER! My eyes were watering so much so that I couldn't see, my lips and throat were burning...and I was dripping sweat. To be honest, I kinda wondered if the cook was about to quit... and this was going to be his way of sticking it to the owner! ;) I can't imagine what a "spicy" choice in preparation would have tasted like. Well truthfully...it's likely I wouldn't have been able to taste anything! I'm anything but a wimp when it comes to spicy food. (I travel with packets of hot pepper blend for crying out loud). But the way this was prepared to a "MEDIUM" spice level...was OBSCENELY hot! And it took away of the enjoyment of eating what I'm sure is otherwise really good Thai food. I won't hesitate to return...after I heal...but I will definitely be making some changes to my "heat level" request! Don't say I didn't warn ya!

The flavor fusion is the perfect solution for the indecisive folks like me. In fact, it is so half and half the two sides of the store look entirely different with completely different vibes! The staff was great. They were attentive and sweet. The sushi chefs were absolutely amazing. I was taking a little video of the set up when the one chef said "hi, Instagram!" and they all perked up and smiled and waved. We ordered the papaya salad and tom yum for appetiser. It could have been much more spicy as we were expecting with authentic Thai food. For mains, we got the sashimi deluxe for two and the spider (soft shell crab) roll. The sashimi was chosen by the chefs and we definitely had our faves (basically everything from the middle). Next time we will order individual hand rolls/nigiri of the ones we liked. Taste-wise, I would say it's 3/5. The staff was sweet and for me the star of the show--the people made it 5/5. And for this overall I give it a 4/5.
