Kale Caesar Salad & Strawberry Cheesecake
Lola J.

This was my first time stopping at any Honeygrow location and I can honestly say I had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu has a lot of different options but I decided to go with a Caesar Salad, create your own Stir-fry and a strawberry cheese cake from the honey bar options. Everything was prepared fresh (you can see them making it). The wait time was not long at all. It was a little crowd but they had the orders out very quickly. We enjoyed everything we ordered! It was flavorful and definitely worth the ride. Next time I will probably try something different not because I didn't like what I had but just to taste the other options. So if you're in the area definitely check them out !

We both loved the healthy options that you can add to the stir fry to make it a very clean, yet tasty stir fry.

We originally came to use the 2 for 12 culinary classics special but ended up adding proteins, drinks, and garlic bread so with everything (two bowls with protein, two drinks, cheesy garlic bread), the total was a little over $30. I could've done without the protein in my bowl. In my opinion Noodles and Company is one of those places that tastes better with all the "fixins", so if you can add anything to elevate your bowl I highly suggest it. However, the proteins are pretty basic and don't seem to add much pizzazz to the dishes. My partner complained that the noodles were heavy and greasy, but mine were . Not your traditional pad Thai but pretty decent for a chain. I asked for no cilantro (yuck). The cheesy bread barely had any cheese on it, was a bit dry, and I didn't care for the flavor of it, so I probably won't order that again. Service was good and our food came out in about 10 minutes. There are plenty of booth seating and tables inside to sit and eat as well. Great for quick comfort food but don't expect anything too fancy.

I liked the simplicity of the chicken noodle soup. It was well seasoned and tasted good. I was less impressed with the pad Thai with chicken for protein. It had an odd flavor that I cannot place, but it must have been what they marinaded it with...I don't like the flavor. While the spicy Korean steak noodles had a similar flavor, the tenderness of the steak and the spicy complement helped to distract from whatever they put on the noodles that dampens the dishes. However, I'm glad I grabbed the rice krispy treat for a snack - it was yum!

Honestly, I was a little hesitant in trying this place out, because, you know, sushi at the mall? However, the hubs wanted to give them a try, so we went for it. We ordered: +Spicy Tuna Roll - this was described as diced sashimi-grade tuan with a spicy sauce; unfortunately, the tuna wasn't 'raw' and it tasted like canned tuna; rice was a bit more on the wet side +the Charo Burrito - this was filled with crab (imitation crab) and shrimp; this was a deep-fried 'sushi roll', and the flavor was actually pretty good; however, didn't know that cilantro was one of the ingredients they would add in there, so it totally ruined it for me; the sauce drizzles on top were great; this could have been more piping hot, as it was deep-fried, but I'm thinking it was a quick dip Staff were very friendly and kind. There's a sign that says that this place is halal. There seems to be many who get their items to go. The Noodle with Pork & Black Bean Sauce and Noodle with Veg & Beef Spicy Seafood Soup are my top favorites noodle dishes here. We also got the Fried Dumplings, which were just okay. I asked for recommendations, although I knew I was going to get their infamous Lolipop Chicken. It lived up to the hype! While a tad pricey for one person, the portion is HUGE and I will have leftovers for days! The chicken was piping hot and flavorful. I also love noodles, and recently hand pulled noodles. You can literally hear them slapping around your noodles in the kitchen! I also ordered the spicy seafood soup, which was recommended. I liked the chicken a little more than the soup, but the soup was a large portion as well and very shareable. I washed my meal down with a Korean beer.

Always appreciate the minimalist yet still eloquently-decorated aesthetic of the restaurants, complete with a window to view the kitchen, which itself seemed relatively clean and well-kempt. Ordered the Woodear Mushroom and Mint Salad, and the Mogu Shiitake Mixian Ramen. The mushrooms were light and chewy, yet savory with citric and garlicky elements, and overall very refreshing. The ramen was solid in most respects, with a decent variety of vegetables and multiple proteins, including tofu, shiitakes, soybeans and marinated egg (which I enjoyed despite typically not liking hard-boiled egg too much). The noodles were a little bland, however, and didn't taste like they absorbed much of the broth. Overall, I'd say 4.5 stars are more accurate; YbP Noodle House is a regular haunt for me because the quality is there in most respects.

The Zajiang noodles were the star of the meal: rich, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and absolutely something I'd order again. I even took the leftover sauce home to pour over rice because it was too good to waste. The salt and pepper squid was another winner with its crispy, well-seasoned coating. My daughter only wanted plain noodles (kids ), and the staff was incredibly kind and patient with her. The plain noodles were a little gummy, but they paired nicely with the comforting bowl of soup they brought out. It's not the fanciest or cleanest restaurant, and parking takes a little patience, but when the food is this good, I don't mind one bit. The staff clearly works hard, and the delicious food speaks for itself. I just wish this place were in my neighborhood! Looking forward to coming back and working my way through more of the menu.

Food came out as it was ready. The teas were ok, the Passionfruit was the best. The soup dumplings were disappointing. You can't avoid them breaking but there was hardly any meat, was lukewarm, and mostly fat. The Tiger Signature and Pork Chive dumplings were better, but not too much flavor. The amount of filling in there were ok. The Shu Mai and the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings were solid, not too bad at all. The Cucumber were refreshing and also a little spicy. The Scallion Pancakes were fine, nothing special. Food was ok overall. The staff is nice but it seems that they were a little slammed despite the restaurant not being too full.
