One thing I love about Noodles and Company...my food will be hot every single time. First time dining in. We ordered the Pad Thai and Chili Garlic Ramen. We originally came to use the 2 for 12 culinary classics special but ended up adding proteins, drinks, and garlic bread so with everything (two bowls with protein, two drinks, cheesy garlic bread), the total was a little over $30. I could've done without the protein in my bowl. In my opinion Noodles and Company is one of those places that tastes better with all the "fixins", so if you can add anything to elevate your bowl I highly suggest it. However, the proteins are pretty basic and don't seem to add much pizzazz to the dishes. My partner complained that the noodles were heavy and greasy, but mine were . Not your traditional pad Thai but pretty decent for a chain. I asked for no cilantro (yuck). The cheesy bread barely had any cheese on it, was a bit dry, and I didn't care for the flavor of it, so I probably won't order that again. Service was good and our food came out in about 10 minutes. There are plenty of booth seating and tables inside to sit and eat as well. Great for quick comfort food but don't expect anything too fancy. read more

When I entered, the place was empty except for the staff. But it was clean and inviting so that was a plus. The service was pleasant enough. The food was a bit hit and miss. I liked the simplicity of the chicken noodle soup. It was well seasoned and tasted good. I was less impressed with the pad Thai with chicken for protein. It had an odd flavor that I cannot place, but it must have been what they marinaded it with...I don't like the flavor. While the spicy Korean steak noodles had a similar flavor, the tenderness of the steak and the spicy complement helped to distract from whatever they put on the noodles that dampens the dishes. I haven't been to noodles in a few years, should have kept it that way. Greeted right away as soon as we walked in, needed a few minutes to look at the new menu. Decided to play it safe and get the tried and true Mac n cheese, I know they dont normally melt the grated cheese into it but the noodles are normally hot enough to stir them in and melt the cheese garnish. Today, the noodles were barely room temperature for both of our dishes. Clumped up cheese it is, I guess. Tried to get something simple here with the mac and cheese. Wrong move -- nothing about it was basic, in the worst way possible. Can't say I didn't give it a fair shot, I really wanted to like it, but it just didn't deliver on flavor or quality. I ordered my normal at the location in Waldorf (first time coming to this location) I ordered pesto cavatappi with chicken and added and paid extra for shrimp, spinach and feta. I foolishly picked my order up and did not check it until I got home assuming my order would be correct as it always is from the Woodmore location. When I opened my food there was no chicken smh and also no spinach which I paid extra for and a small amount of shrimp and also very few mushrooms and tomatoes which come standard in the dish. Update: And the new manager might even be worse. I'm just going to copy and paste my review I sent to corporate. Hello. I went to the Noodles and Company location in Waldorf, Maryland yesterday night around 7:45pm. After noticing that the cook 1) does not wear gloves, 2) does not wear her mask properly over her nose, and 3) repeatedly touches her mask without washing her hands afterwards, I wanted a refund. Another woman overheard me speaking my dissatisfaction to the cashier and also wanted her money back. As I was standing in front of the manager waiting for him to process my refund, the lady and I spoke amongst ourselves about our disgust. We were not rude or loud, we were just talking. The next thing I know the manager, Tobias Reginald Scott, born 7/29/98 started being very aggressive towards me. He positioned himself around the divider between us and began aggressive hand motions and leaning forward towards me all to say that I was being disrespectful, I had an attitude, and that he didn't have to give me a refund because he could just give me the food. I was shocked because I was not even talking to him. He had already told me when we first got over to the counter that the policy was for the cook not to wear gloves. I understood and I just didn't care. I am an intelligent woman. I have the capacity to acknowledge and comprehend something but it still not change the way I feel. He was talking over me as I was trying to explain to him that policy wasn't the issue and that I wasn't talking to him. He then started to flip his hair back and forth, I guess to further my thoughts that the place was unsanitary and to make me upset. Luckily his locs weren't long enough to touch me because that would be a whole different conversation. The woman also wanting a refund then stepped in because she saw how aggressive and disrespectful he was toward me. She stepped in to defend me. She also said to him multiple times that I wasn't even talking to him so how could I possibly be having an attitude and disrespectful with him? This went on for several minutes. I have a three minute video. And I didn't even capture all of it. When I realized that this was merely a situation of him peeing on trees to assert his power, I stopped defending myself because I knew it wasn't going to get me anywhere. After he foolishly took my silence for verification that he was right, he finally gave me a refund but the other woman had already called the police. I'm sure she'll write a review as well so I'll let her tell you the rest. I'm very grateful to her for stepping in the situation and standing up for me. I was very uncomfortable and somewhat afraid of what he might do if I continued to annoy him (although I never really did anything to upset him in the first place). In the end, I got my money back, and I spoke with the officers. The next stop on my list will be the health department. I'm still amazed at how I was so disrespected for absolutely no reason. However, I just learned the recipe to the Penne Rosa and the Pesto Cavatappi so I will never be back to any Noodles and Company. Tobias just lost you a customer you've had for the last 10 years. I frequent this location often but this is the second time in the past month that I've been disappointed with the service and food. Few weeks ago - I ordered a pasta fresca w/ mushrooms using the app, get to the store and my food isn't ready. I give it a few minutes and then inquire about my order. They inform me that they were out of mushrooms...cool I request spinach. They give me a bowl of uncooked spinach that is hanging all out of the bowl. So of course, I give the spinach back and request that they sauté it...like why would I want uncooked spinach. So the girl wasn't too happy about that but you cook it any other time so why wouldn't you cook it this time.. Today - I order my food in the store. I ordered 2 pasta fresca's, one w/ chicken and the other mushrooms. I notice other customers constantly going up to the counter asking about their food. Even guest who were eating there were inquiring about their food. They had to remake their orders because their food got cold because it was just sitting there. So I go up and inquire about my food and...it's sitting there. Like, why are you not bagging the orders and calling out the names? So I get the order and it's wrong, both have chicken. I came here to meet a family member to trade off a kid, who happens to be obsessed with the macaroni and cheese at Noodles. This is a very, very small Noodles compared to the half dozen others I've been to, but the staff is very friendly. We are creatures of habit, and we order the same thing every single time we come to a Noodles... our Annapolis location recognizes us and knows our order without asking, they also catered my toddlers birthday last year. Yes, we have a problem... anyway, back on track... I noticed the Penne Rosa tasted different than any other location I've been to, not bad... but not the usual. The staff was very attentive, almost too much so. They came to the table every few minutes and asked to take dishes away each time, or which each time we were still eating. It interrupted a lot of conversations and was a tad bothersome. But, overall I'd recommend this location, and we will almost guaranteed be back for future trade offs. read more

The staff has ZERO sense of urgency, they don't know how to properly communicate with guests, and they are lazy. There were dirty tables, and the station next to the soda machine was disgusting. It took 15 minutes for my potstickers to come out and two people who ordered after me got their food before me. When I brought this to the attention of the cashier he looked at me and said "okay." This is the best Noodles and Company that I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. They try their best to accommodate any special requests. Today for instant, it was hot and I was exhausted and all I wanted was a cool Tomato Cucumber salad. On their menu, they only show it as a side option so I asked politely if they could make it in a larger version. He was happy to make that happen for me and I had my beautiful, perfect size salad in minutes. I've eaten here so many times and in Carmel, Indiana before this one. I've never had a bad experience and it is one of my favorite restaurants. I like the concept of not being fast food but not being a full scale sit down and wait restaurant. I think these healthier options are becoming the best way to get food out. This location is clean, free WiFi, comfortable seating, fabulous wait staff, delicious menu with lots of options for kids and adults, online ordering and catering for events. Changing my review to 1 star. The last time I visited I was super sick, and picked up a bowl of chicken noodle soup around 7pm. It was the worst I have ever had it from noodles and co. The noodles were so mushy and gross I could not even eat the soup. I called that night and told the front desk order taker what had happened, and then she said the manager would call me back tomorrow, and she never did. I really just wanted to come back another time to get a fresh soup, since mine was clearly old and sitting there all day. Hubby wanted to try this place out, so I agreed. I wasn't too hungry and had been craving macaroni & cheese for the longest time, so I ordered a small bowl of that. Husband got the cheesesteak with salad. The cashier, a young man, was very nice and friendly. We were given a number and waited at the table, and were brought out our food by the same cashier, everything looked good. I had a bowl of macaroni pasta with shredded cheese on top, that melted as I mixed it all together. Everything tasted delicious! Here's where it goes downhill. We're facing the cashier, and notice the same young man started to fill the container of shredded cheese. It overflowed, and cheese fell all over the counter. So this guy, with his bare dirty money touching hands, smushes down the cheese in the container. Then, collects all of the cheese on the dirty counter, puts into the container, and smushes it down, again, with his bare hands. Needless to say, I couldn't finish my macaroni and cheese after seeing that. How disgusting! Is it really hard to wear gloves before touching food? Then he went back to taking money, never once left the cashier area to wash his hands... we also started to notice that not one staff member, including kitchen, was wearing gloves. This restaurant has had ups and downs depending on the management, however for the last few months, we have eaten here with good reviews about 6 times. With a family of 7 it is hard to please all the kids (youngest is 10-oldest is 16) but Noodles has great choices and everyone gets what they want and will customize spice level. There is a current manager who goes above and beyond to make things great, seems to remember customers and is kind to his employees. There hasn't been a tremendous amount of turnover in the past few months so he likely takes care of them. Great food, quick, pleasant service, good price point. Ive been coming here since they first opened and try to make it in several times a month. They are clean. Conveniently located in Waldorf. Service has always been great. There is a range of choices from American to Thai. They are part of a chain, so when traveling you may see them. This location has some outdoor seating and in the spring and fall it can be nice to sit outside and enjoy your meal (and people watch - we live in Southern MD, that alone should explain it) Of course if you have allergies, sit inside. It's not a big place so I wouldn't recommend for large groups as this place is popular and during lunch/dinner it gets crowded fast. The flatbread and cucumber salad are always the first thing I order. I switch up the noodle dish but my fallback is always the Mac n Cheese with parmesan chicken. I'm a bartender in the F&B industry and I really hesitate negatively reviewing restaurants because I understand them. That should help understand how wrong things are here as I tend to be very tolerant of bad customer service. I'm over this location. I've been going here for almost 2 years a few times a month, and since the online ordering and call in Togo orders changed the customer service has really sucked. The staff is not trained to be kind at all. They don't smile, they don't greet you, and you feel ignored until they eventually talk to you at the register with no, "Thank yous," or, "Come back again." Trust me I will not. They lack common decency, which most of us are taught as toddlers. Don't even bother calling orders in. They won't answer the phone. I understand when you're busy you clearly can't take two orders at the same time. However, multitasking goes a long way and literally takes 15 seconds to ask the guest at the register to hold one second while asking the caller to please hold. They don't seem to grasp that here. Also, the Togo call center is trash. When you have problems ordering online the call center has the same issues and it's just a waste 5 min of your time. Since this new staff has been here, I've stayed away. I tried again for the first time in over a month, and I'm done. It's the same crap over and over.
