The quality and workmanship of their hive boxes was like no other. Robert uses select grade lumber, little to no knots or blemishes. We purchased two complete hives and two of the top feeders. They also have better prices than any other bee supply companies. We also purchased a nuc from Little LaRue Apiary. When I opened the top it was full of healthy beautiful Italian honey bees. It was so full of bees it was overflowing. When my mentor saw the pictures of my nuc she said, "that is a VERY nice nuc". I was so happy to see Delicata squash - my favorite! I also got a bag of ginger gold apples ($5.75) - very happy to see them, as they are hard to find. There's candy, and locally made pumpkin bread. What I love most? That everything is grown or made locally. I absolutely can get behind that. Highly recommended! They are open from late May through sometime in November. We recently returned from a trip to MI where we went berry picking. Our little boy had so much fun! So when they announced they'd be open on Tuesday evening for berry picking, we knew we had to take him. Our visit was late August. Blueberries and blackberries were near the end of their time and the raspberries were just coming out. It wasn't too crowded, the people were nice and the price was pretty good! I even retuned later that week just for fun. The raspberries tasted even sweeter the second time! Yum!! They also sell honey, watermelons and pumpkins. I was not familiar with Bexley Natural Market but saw from the Too Good Eats website that the market carried them so off I went exploring. Parkign lot is limited and that area of Cassady Avenue was a little busy but I was able to get in and out ok and find a spot to park. The staff interaction was ok but REALLY missed an opportunity to sell the market and what they are about. I had asked about the membership and the bland explanations really didn't say much at all and the interaction was not very inviting and kind of dismissive. I would have been happy that some new traffic came in and showed an interest. Anyway, the market offers all kinds of items from produce, vegan options, natural drinks, and grocery items. It appears the main focus is supporting local farmers and vendors in the area. I will come back and take another look around but was super happy they had the drinks I liked. If interested- I found online that the membersip is $30 one-time payment and annual dues of $45 that provides 5% to 8% off and monthly coupons & promotions valued at $100 a year in savings.
