I took my Yorkshire Terrier here for Grooming, and this is how what he looked like when I picked him up. VERY DISAPPOINTED

I've been taking my pup Scooby here for awhile and I always thought the service was great and that they did a wonderful job. I did think it was weird that whenever we set foot into this building Scooby would run to the door, but the groomer assured me it was just because he didn't like the dryers. (Yeah, right). I took Scooby a few days ago and he was acting very strange afterwards. I didn't see anything wrong so I just dismissed it thinking it was the dryer. However it's been a few days and I'm now able to see a huge scab forming on his face! Not only that but It's very hidden under his haircut. I know for a fact that he must have bled from this, I mean look at the size of the thing. the fact that the groomers didn't at least have the decency to tell me pisses me off to no end. What if it got infected! My dog is currently trying his hardest not to scratch this outrageous nick on his face. Do not bring your dog to this place.

Teddy bear cut is what I wanted but they just know how to buzz the dog & send them home for a quick buck. Her & her husband said that it looked the same to what I wanted.

For reference my dog has been going to this groomer for 2 years and I've complained only twice because they noticeably messed up on his face

do not take your animal to this grooming parlor. they messed up my dog's face TWICE in the span of a couple of months. they told me to bring my dog back and they will fix it so I did and they fixed it. the second time, today 11/4 I brought him in a noticed the same similar haircut issue so I brought it up to them again and stated that they will fix if I bring him up there again. I don't live close to the salon and this time since this was the SECOND time I asked for other accommodations. They told me "we aren't a great fit and I'll send you "15 dollars or nothing at all" instead refunding me all my money or at least half. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE very unprofessional

We have taken our family dogs to get groomed here for over 18 years. The staff are professional, friendly, and polite. We have never experienced any issues, nor witnessed any negativity towards their customers. Thank you HG for your great services throughout the years. Continue with your professional services! Dr. C

Pam and her husband always take great care of my little Maltese mix. My dog was rescued from a…read moreshelter and was abused before animal control rescued him, which is why he doesn't easily trust people. He is also typically afraid of other dogs. By the time I came to pick him up from an over night stay at Pam's Pet Sitting, he was jumping in Pam's husband's lap and chasing the other dogs around the yard! I can always rest at ease whenever my dog is at Pam's. She also walks the dogs daily and makes sure they get plenty of exercise.

I got a new job and was in need of a dog walker. I heard about Pam so I thought I'd contact her…read moreabout my dogs. I met her and she seemed nice and all went well...that is until she presented me with a contract to sign. I know most dog daycare facilities have some sort of agreement to protect them from liability and I get that. However, when I wanted something added into the agreement stating that only Pam would give my dog medicine and that I didn't want her walked due to my dog's old age but she flat out refused. I wasn't sure why because it's not a big deal and I was ready to sign it and move on. If anything it provides security for me as a pet parent and also for her too. She just said she's take care of it and not to worry about it. Yeahhhh, sorry but that's not good enough for me. This should have been a red flag right there. I tried to ignore this but I couldn't get past that weird encounter so I had to take a hard pass on using her services. Eventually I was able to find another dog sitter for Molly who had no problem supporting my care plan for her. I hold no ill will towards her but because of my experience I can't recommend using Pam's dog daycare.

I love Smart Paws :')…read more After working from home for two years and never leaving my dog's side, I started a new job requiring me to come into the office 3 days per week. My Boston is beyond attached and has epilepsy requiring a strict medicine regimen throughout the day. Between my anxiety of leaving him for hours without monitoring for his seizures and the anxiety I assume he must have felt with this sudden transition, Smart Paws has truly saved the day. I had tried Dog Camps in Chicago previously, but the absurd prices for rooms far too overfilled with dogs was something I was desperately trying to avoid. Smart Paws is amazing - they are so easy to schedule with on the fly, and the pictures and status updates from the walkers (specifically Abby if she ever reads this!!) each time they visit truly make my day. They administer Figg's medicine, take him on different walks each time allowing him to adventure, and always play with him and fill his water bowl after the walk. This is by far the fairest pricing for dog walking I've found in the city, and the walkers are top notch. I can go to work without a doubt in my mind that Figg is getting the best care despite the new "alone time" in his routine. Thank you Smart Paws!!!!

I don't know about other people's schedule, but i try to set mine up every time with the the can arrive an hour before or after your appointment, really makes scheduling a headache. There really shouldn't be a reason why you should be allowed to arrive up to an hour before a scheduled appointment, that is what throws everything off if they come early. Please in 2020 work on fixing this issue as i'm sure i'm not the only client who has this headache scheduling with you guys.
