His face and ears were awful lacking uniformity. Also, the dog is white, obviously they didn't use whitening shampoo. His coat now has a yellow tint. He gets groomed monthly, wiped down daily and brushed weekly so he's being taken care of at home. I was looking for someplace outside of big box groomers and learned the shop was under new owners. So I gave them a try. Haven't decided if I'll go back it's a lot of money for subpar work.

I wanted her hair to be evened up and all the same length... like a lab's. On average a lab's hair measures 1.5 inches. Lauren said no problem, she will shave it. I said great and I left. I returned to find my dog absolutely butchered. She looked like a lion. Her head was left untouched, as was her tail. Her body was buzzed down to 1/4 inch. As seen in pictures below, her head was not blended at all. I kept my cool. I'm standing there with my autistic son, I'm talking myself down from crying. I paid. I left. My husband immediately brings our dog back to talk to Lauren. Lauren says this haircut was my fault. Lauren maintains that she told me the dog would be "shaved." She says the word "shaved" means crew cut, and I agreed to that. I believe she told me my dog would be shaved to resemble a lab's coat, as I JUST clearly asked for. This would be like going to the salon, asking to have your hair cut to your shoulders, just for the stylist to suggest and perform a crew cut instead. I am so upset, not only by the cut, but by the way this was handled. Lauren refuses to refund my money and says I can speak to the owner when she returns from vacation in a week and a half.

Now a week later with a $500 vet bill he still can't urinate fully although he was given a I.V and prescribed meds for inflammation & pain. He doesn't swing or lift his tail any more and it sits to the side nor is he drinking like normal. The doctor said his tail wasn't broken but I know it's damaged. My cat's personally has changed from bubbly to defeated, I wish he could talk and tell me about the trauma he suffered. I won't be taking my other two cats I should've turned around when I smelled the stench.

I never received a text this time saying she needs anything additional added to her service so I assumed she was good. They then sent me a text saying that I owed $125 When I got there. Upon arriving I expressed to the receptionist that I was confused on why I was being charged this amount and she expressed that all they charged me for 2 dematting services. Then the receptionist proceeds to be rude and tells me she doesn't have anything to do with me not receiving the text. But I find it so weird that I never received a text saying that this is being added to our service but they sent me a text telling me that she was done and this is how much I owe. She proceeds to then call the owner because I was not paying 70 extra dollars and the owner says "oh I'm not going to argue with her" when no one was I was just trying to get an understanding. Then the receptionist jumps back into the conversation and says "well you did show us a reference picture and usually if you show us a reference picture, we do whatever we have to do to get to that reference picture regardless of services need to be added to get the dog to look like the picture. I asked her why wasn't that stated when I got there and dropped my dog off to begin with and she tells me well, I thought it was common sense. Why the fuck would that be common sense to me wouldn't it be common sense to express to the customer what they could possibly be paying.
