They give you so much rice and chow mein so that they could give you less of everything else. I am not much of a soda drinker so I asked for water. I have ordered from here before and had PRIMO delicious food, I have also ordered later in the evening and had hard food that should of been thrown out, MOST of the time, the food was good. However Tonight I placed an order on GrubHub at 7:51pm, and after 25 minutes past the estimated delivery time of 8:45, I called them up, and asked them if my order was still going to come as it was now only 20 minutes til they closed. The person on the phone was rude, and tried to claim they already delivered the food, even tho GrubHub still had it listed as in the proccess of making it..So after I firmly stated that it had not come, They said they would call me back, closing time comes and I get NO CALL. I had the mandarin chicken and broccoli beef. The beef was ok (it's Chinese fast food, so I'm not expecting quality stuff), but the chicken was really good, so I definitely recommend that. The girl working the line was friendly and helpful. If what you ordered is in a big piece, they cut it up for you and such. I felt a little guilty, in that although her English was OK, I probably could have communicated better with her in Chinese. Overall, I'm surprised I didn't go here sooner. I'm definitely coming back here if I have the chance before graduation to try out the other stuff. It's not on par with the traditional Chinese (or Taiwanese) fast food I've grown up with in the San Gabriel Valley, but It beats the heck out of buying overpriced 'Chinese' fast food from the Panda. read more

Has been good before, but only good, not great or excellent. Not anymore: whoever runs this place has stopped caring. Chow Mein had only noodles, no cabbage or vegetables, or even chopped nuts. Oily and almost flavorless. Fried rice seems like they're using an entire bag of frozen peas for the entire DAY'S worth of rice. I found two peas within 3 orders of fried rice, zero carrots, no onions, and I've seen more egg in a pan after making scrambled eggs than I found in a few pounds of fried rice. Cutting corners to the extreme. Snow pea dishes are actually quite good. The snow peas themselves are soft as lettuce and have a nice flavor. The problem with them, however, was realized the next day when looking at leftovers in the fridge: you may think snow peas and waterchestnuts would be a healthier choice here, but the sauce they use is about 40% beef drippings and is one of the most cholesterol-filled items on the menu. Be warned of that. Cream cheese wontons are some of the blandest things I've ever eaten. I've had bottled water with more robust flavor, for real. The wrappers tasted old and expired and they use only plain cream cheese with no seasoning, no fake crab meat, not even chives. Utterly plain, boring, flavorless and bland. Again, did I mention the wrappers tasted expired? I'm not sure how the moldy taste survived being cooked. Strange. The orange chicken is sauced with something essentially made of pure sugar, which I normally would enjoy, but you're going to get half-and-half when you order any meat from this place. By that, I mean half of it will be edible and the other half will have caramelized so severely that it will be harder than a jolly rancher candy. Literally inedible. So come by here if you want unseasoned food with half the ingredients that should be present wholly missing, drown in oil and beef fat and then left under a heat lamp and steam table for unknown hours. Zero quality control, zero concern of food standards. This place only survives from people who lack taste buds. Exists solely to take your money and maybe give you something to eat, but I really doubt they even care if you eat anything. They just want your money and will give you pieces of trash in return to attempt to chew on until you either barf it up or projectile diarrhea it out at midnight. Avoid like the plague. read more

I honestly can barely taste the food because there is so much oil in it. The noodles are thick and have a good texture. The meat is dark meat chicken, which I think is wonderful in this dish. So the food here is fucking fantastic. It's tasty and all around satisfying. It is also VERY affordable compared to that Panda Express BS. You can get a large plate for like $7.50. That is a DEAL. This place is pretty good for what it is, fast food. The food is relatively fresh, flavorful, and quite filling. Price wise you're not going to spend more than $8 to get full, and that's something we can still use while powering our way out of the deep recession. With that saved money, we can allocate it to investing in various inputs such as technology, capital, and education which inherently, leads our production potential to increase. I've called immediately after getting our food and a little snotty girl answered every time. I told her it was wrong and she said "well I don't know that's what my boss says" Or "oh well I don't even know. That's what it is then." She is not empathetic or sincere at all. I have been in the restaurant business for 15 years, and would never talk to a customer that way. This last time was the final straw. I ordered my food at 4:20 PM. The same order we always get. It said estimated delivery time 5:19. That's already a long ass time for "steam table" Chinese food located 1.1 miles from your house... but whatever i accept that and wait. At 5:35 I call and get the same snotty little brat and she tells me she doesn't have my order, I spell my name 15 times and she keeps telling me no. Then she says well our driver just left 5 minutes ago with all of the orders... I said "5 minutes ago?!! We ordered our food OVER AN HOUR BEFORE THAT! So has our food been sitting there that long?!!" I've bought from this place many times and have always walked out with an extremely full stomach and smile on my face. Everytime you buy from this place, your box is filled to the brim with food.
