Absolutely love this place! I wish I could clone them and put them in my city! Everything tastes so fresh, so tasty, so flavored right. I finally asked them once if they did make much of their own food like Crab Rangoon, etc. and she said yes. Visits later I actually watched them making their own. It tasted like it. I had given up on fried rice in this area because it was just flavorless and unimpressive. I forgot to exchange it once as I normally got just plain rice. I was amazed. I no longer get white rice. So many things here are good and taste like homemade. It is always clean as well. You can see the cooking area. Just wish I could eat their food every day. I'd be very happy and less grouchy! Oh and Id given up on egg rolls too until finding this place. I loved egg rolls in other places, even countries I visited or I lived, but in this area they tasted like long frozen not worth eating rolls. The egg rolls here are great and flavored well. I ordered uncooked rolls to take home. They are made fresh, not fully frozen but kept ready for days normal need. So I took them home and they were fixed before I even got them in my freezer to save. I always get eggs rolls, crab rangoon along with whatever entrees we decide on. Never unhappy. I recommend and person who always goes with me to Kokomo loves this place too! Don't usually leave reviews, but for the second time in as many visits I've paid hard earned money for, decent size portions of what tastes like three week old grease in there shrimp fried rice and egg rolls had hardly any filling. It's too bad this really used to be a great place to eat. read more

First of all, I lived in mainland China and Hong Kong for 11 years. Every Chinese restaurant modifies its menu to cater to American palates, just as you wouldn't believe what pizzas are on a Domino's menu in China! So, it's a matter of degree of modification from the original, right? That said, Hong Kong is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Kokomo. They have come through some really bad times, but the flavor of the food is top notch. I love the General Tso chicken (NOT a Chinese dish, originated in NYC), and the hot and sour soup is the best. Let me start by saying I loved this place before it had it's fire. I have ordered the same thing for years but the last two times they managed to mess it up.i ordered hiuse fried rice NO veggies extra beef, shrimp add egg, well I don't really see extra beef and there's a lot of veggies. The egg drop soup have no flavor and is watery, the crab Rangoon sauce lacks flavor. The rice tastes like plastic. I called to complain they wanted me to come get new order, I live over 30 minutes away I will not be going back. And the prices have gone through the roof since the fire and the quality has been lacking. read more

Horrible food and customer service. Order was over $50. Eggrolls were pre-made and frozen before cooked. The inside wasn't cooked. Contacted the restaurant for them to fix. They said they would replace. Got the restaurant they refused to and offered to recook the eggrolls were hadn't try. Also chicken tasted old and freezer burned. read more

Best Chinese restaurant in Kokomo, the staff is very friendly and the food is always delicious. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice area to eat inside. It's the only Chinese restaurant we go to. My favorite meal is the pepper steak with white rice and a egg roll, my husband loves the spicy chicken with rice. read more

Hong Kong is a small casual fast Chinese takeout restaurant located at the corner of East Markland and South Cooper. The place is order at the counter with an open kitchen. There are a few tables inside for eating in. They also have a drive-up pick up window too. I stopped here for lunch takeout recently. I ordered the L12 Chicken Lo Mein ($4.25 plus tax) served with pork fried rice. The food was all set to go in 5 minutes. The portion size was good and served very hot, packed into a rectangular styrofoam box. The lo mein had a mix of cabbage, onions, carrots, tender boneless chicken pieces tossed with soft lo mein noodles. The fried rice (yellow color) had a firm texture with a mix of peas, carrots, onions, and few small pieces of pork. Overall, lunch at Hong Kong was pretty good and priced reasonably. read more

Hong Kong is truly one of my family's favorites when wanting some Chinese food,I've only been in the store once due to we always get our food delivered but the one time we went in which was only to pick up our order,the restaurant was very clean and the lady the owns this establishment was very kind and her sunny disposition and humor had my kids laughing and joking the whole time we waited for our food. Their food is good, but their delivery charge is too high. They charge you a extra $20 plus the cost of your order. That's crazy.

Average Chinese food. I ordered a small pork fried to go. It took about five minutes as I sat in the drive thru. I got back to work and I was pleasantly surprised that the small order of pork fried was steaming hot and fresh. read more

This place has really good (typical) Chinese food. It was delivered fairly quickly and the driver was very courteous. The price was about what you would expect to pay for this type of meal. The food is really good but I had issues with ordering in the past. I ordered through Bring Me That and ended up ordering something that was no longer on the menu. When I called the lady was confused because she thought the person who called in the order was me and not the people from BMT. After we figured out the miscommunication I told them they should update their menu for BMT and they told me to just call them directly next time because they deliver (which I didn't realize at first and is why I went through BMT) SO to make a long story short (too late) just don't order through Bring Me That because 1. You don't have to deal with the middle man and 2. They probably didn't update their menu. read more

The best Chinese Food in town. Delivery takes a bit of time (usually a little less than an hour), but the food has always been hot, and they've never messed up an order. Unlike other Chinese restaurants in the area, I've never had trouble with cold or under-cooked food from them. Also, if you want the food mild or spicy, you get it mild or spicy. Food is reasonably priced, and the staff are really nice. I order form them often. No complaints! read more
