Tried Out a Rage Room for the First Time - Totally Worth It!…read more I've been hearing about this rage room for a while and finally decided to check it out. I called ahead to ask about any discounts for locals or birthdays, and they told me they do offer a local discount with valid ID -- nice little bonus! They also said they had availability that day, so I figured, why not? The whole experience was super satisfying. Ever feel like breaking something at work but don't want to get fired? Break n Anger is the place to let that urge out safely and legally. Here's how it works: You get to choose 2 items from the top shelf and 5 items each from shelves 2, 3, and 4 -- so about 17 items total to smash. After signing the waivers, you suit up in a jumpsuit, gloves, and a helmet. They offer earplugs too, but I skipped those -- the sound of breaking stuff is half the fun. Honestly, the time flew by -- I went all in for 10 minutes and it felt like seconds. I probably should've paced myself, but I really wanted to let the rage out. No regrets though -- it was super fun, and I can totally see this being a great team-building activity. I'm definitely planning to go back and try the premium items next time!

Have you ever wondered how it would feel to break or smash anything you find near you or around…read moreyou? Or maybe just want to break something to relieve those extra pressure on you or release those stress? We celebrated my brother-in-law's 40th birthday, also known as Yakudoshi in Japanese culture at Break'N Anger. This was our first event for the day. There's really no parking around but you can park on the street. I think Sunday is best since it's not busy so we had better chance with finding a closer parking. They had signage and you would need to ring the door bell and a staff will let you in. As soon as you walk in through the door, you'd find so much colors, graffitis, spray paints and all items that you can choose from to break and special or larger items for purchase to break. The staff had us select 17 items that we wanted to break from the 4-tier shelves. What's really neat is that if you have an item that you end up not breaking, you get to keep as souvenir. For safety, we were provided jumpsuits, gloves, and helmets with face shield. Ooh and you must wear shoes! We reserved the Jungle Room. The room was equipped with sledgehammer, golf club, metal pipe, and crow bars. You MUST listen for their instruction to ensure that not only you enjoy your time smashing and breaking items but you are safe doing it! They also have a phone holder so you don't have to worry about taking videos! All in all, it was a fun event! It was our first and definitely won't be our last! Thank you for reading my review. Have a great week! Happy New Year!

I drove up to the guard shack, showed my ID and was able to park in the open lot. I recommend carpooling as parking is limited. I hadn't hiked Diamond Head in 10 years, so I forgot how strenuous it can be. I wore comfortable athletic sneakers, a large sun hat and brought a 24 oz water bottle with me. There's little to no shade for most of the hike. Certain parts of the hike are steep and uneven. Definitely take your time and don't feel rushed. There's enough room for people to go around you, if needed. I saw some elementary kids zip past me, so even younger kids can do it. There is a steep stairwell and a dark tunnel that leads to the top. Once I got to the lookout, it was so crowded. It was hard to take photos and gather with my friends. I felt so claustrophobic. After that, I climbed back down. When I got to the end of the hike, I went to the gift shop kiosk. There's a bunch of Sanrio exclusive merch that I picked up for my friends. I thought that was the best reward for my hike.

You have to be there within the first 30 minutes of your reservation and then you only get 2 hours to hike. Believe me you won't spend more than 2 hours there between the crowds and the heat. So the earlier in the morning you can make your reservation you'll be much better off! I traveled late and only carried one bottle of water and I was fine (50 yoa, physical but I don't work out or anything). Definitely need to pace yourself, especially if you're prone to heat exhaustion. Don't let the nice weather fool you cause it does get very hot with little breeze and lots of steep terrain. If you're pron to having bad balance or twisting your ankle a lot, I would not do this hike. If you have a stroller or needle a walker, you definitely should not be doing this hike. Views are amazing at the end of the hike, as long as it's not too busy. If it's busy, be prepared to stand in line to get your Kodak moments.

We had specifically planned parts of our trip around this reservation and already had the rest of our itinerary arranged. Needless to say, it's extremely disappointing to find out so close to our travel dates that we now have to scramble to make alternative plans. Mistakes happen, but it's surprising that an issue like this wasn't discovered until the last minute. What should have been an exciting part of our vacation ended up causing a great deal of stress and completely disrupted our itinerary. Very disappointed with how this was handled.

Definitely exceeded that 3 hint limit! The room we did was the Y2K one, which was certainly a fun blast from the past room. For those who were 90s kids or fondly remember the 90s, this will definitely be your jam. The room itself was wide ranging of difficulty, while I wouldn't recommend for beginners, it's certainly got a good balance between difficult puzzles and easier ones. The room is also good for kids. Nothing jumpy with it that happens with this one, though, they might miss a lot of the references. But hey, if you're bringing your kids here you can tell them all about the things in there, "Back in my day...", and remind yourself how old you are! Anyways, don't want to say too much and give anything away. Have fun with the escape at Breakout Waikiki!
