I had originally gotten my 329 card here, and 2 year renewals, everything was fine, I'd get them after about a week or so. Paul had even given me a half-off discount once when some information was messed up and a delay occurred. Something changed this year though, and from the recent reviews throughout, it seems I am not alone in what has been happening. I contacted Paul 60 days(8/2) before expiration(9/30), as usual, and went through the typical process, but as time passed, nothing was ever received. I checked in, and was told there were no issues, I would get the new card before the current expires. Well, it's been longer than usual, but okay, I trusted him. I contacted him again a couple weeks before expiration, and was told he would check, then just gave me a sarcastic sounding response that, again, I'd get it before the other card expires. The card expires, I contact Paul, and just get multiple different reasons for the delays, but that I'd still get the card, it's now been 2 months and counting. I asked him for a refund on 10/2/24, and while he responded, he didn't necessarily say he would, nor did he mention it in the responses thereafter. I ended up going to Hemptuary Express near the airport on Oahu on 10/3 at 1:10pm, and received my card renewal on 10/4 at 10:20am. Yes...less than a day. Honestly, I don't know what is going on, but seeing all the others, there is definitely some shadiness and scam-like behavior happening after gaining the trust of patients. Maybe he's just having a hard time and delaying till he can get things going again, maybe he's stealing money, personal information, and potentially identities from patients as others express, I don't know, but I truly hope the latter is not the case. He finally said that he would "work on my refund" on 10/9/24, after I had requested it two times previously, but I don't think he will actually do the right thing. 10/23/24 Update: Still no refund from Paul Klink, still no proof of a refund processing that he claims he was going to send me. All I got were the same two pictures of him in the hospital(that are likely from ages ago), he's just using this for sympathy and to get people to stop messaging him and wait endlessly. I will be reporting Paul Klink to the DCCA, to HPD for third-degree theft, and to the places he claims to hold titles and positions. I am writing to share a deeply concerning experience with Paul L. Klink, who operates as a Medical Provider, Patient-Advocate, Chaplain, and Medical Assistant. Based on my experience, I believe he may be running a scam related to medical marijuana card renewals. On April 6th, 2024, I paid Mr. Klink $176.50 and provided my personal information to renew my medical marijuana card. Here's a timeline of what happened afterward: April 12th and 19th: Followed up and was told I would receive my card soon. May 3rd: Followed up again and was told I should have my card by Monday. May 7th: Followed up and was told I would receive it ASAP. May 9th, 16th, and 20th: Followed up with no response. May 21st: Mr. Klink claimed he had just had open-heart surgery and would process my card ASAP. May 22nd: Followed up and received a sarcastic response, stating he would be home the next day to resolve the issue. May 29th: Followed up; Mr. Klink promised to send proof of the application, which he did not. June 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th: Followed up with no response. June 7th: Mr. Klink called, promising I would receive my card by the end of the upcoming Monday. June 10th: Followed up as I did not receive the card; no response. June 11th, 12th, and 13th: Followed up again; Mr. Klink provided a fake password for the Department of Health website. June 13th - Present: Sent five requests for a refund, with no response from Mr. Klink. Despite multiple follow-ups, broken promises, and even being given a fake login for the Department of Health website, I have not received my renewed card or a refund. This has left me without a valid medical marijuana card, causing significant stress and inconvenience. Ultimately, I lost my money and had to seek another provider to get my medical marijuana card renewed. I strongly urge others to be cautious when dealing with this business. My experience suggests that Mr. Klink is not trustworthy and may be engaging in fraudulent activities. Protect yourself and seek services elsewhere. read more

Five stars just isn't enough. I found the Honolulu Wellness Center on Google, I read all of their very clear information and instructions, I filled out the pre-appointment application, I then text the number they provided, and BAM, I got a text reply within minutes(!), and an appointment right away along with specific instructions and location directions which proved to be very exact and simple to follow. I then emailed my medical evidence and asked if it was enough, and again, BAM, I got a reply right away stating that yes, the evidence I had was enough. Upon arrival I was greeted by a most kind and respectful receptionist who had me fill out a few very simple forms (typical medical questionnaire), and then right away I got to meet the director, Paul, who is as nice a person you would ever want to meet. He collected my medical evidence and ID, and then he introduced me to a very pleasant, topnotch doctor, a prominent SURGEON, in fact, who reviewed my health history, wrote a few things down, and approved my receiving a 329. And then Paul got on the Hawaii State web site, he filled out the form FOR ME and submitted all that needed submitting, and again, BAM, it was all done. It was a very simple and most pleasant experience, and Paul is such a good guy who truly believes like I do, that, indeed, medical cannabis is the best medicine available for my health issues. I can assure you I will ONLY go to Paul and the Honolulu Wellness Center for my future annual renews, forever and ever. I am soooooo glad Google led me to Paul and the staff of the Honolulu Wellness Center, and I highly encourage you to do the same. It's first class, 5+ stars all the way, you have my word. read more

I've had the pleasure of consulting/using the Honolulu Wellness Center, it's doctors, staff & especially their patient advocate Paul since 2017 & they are all simply the very best (& most-often right) when it comes to anything about the Medical Cannabis industry/community, it's many medicinal/beneficial therapies & our beloved state of Hawaii. Their office & staff here in Honolulu are all just beautiful & I was truly amazed (& quite spoiled) by the serene atmosphere & scenic views looking out over Ala Moana beach & as well the absolutely wonderful & caring staff there. The actual doctors visit/consultation wasn't at all stressful, drawn-out or complicated & even a year(s) later, to renew my recommendation/permit over-the-phone, that process was again really simple, pleasant & quick. It seemed like they really knew what they were doing & had everything prepared ahead of time & at hand for anything I could've needed to complete my recommendation/registration without any delay or complication. I credit much of this to their top-notch level of professionalism they adhere to & actual scientific & medical based information they're incorporating into what they do there. They even gave me some very helpful advice/recommendations & lots of information outside of the use of medical cannabis for the serious medical issues I suffer from, that I am even today (5 years later) still using & benefiting from. Overall I don't think I've ever had better service or a better experience - anywhere else, dealing with the medical cannabis registration process & will now only visit/consult with HWC, it's doctor(s), staff & of course Paul, for anything relating to medical cannabis. read more

I can't even make this shit up. I paid a discounted price through Paul to help me with obtaining medical marijuana card. I won't mention the amount but it was way cheaper than anyone and he did it for me cuz I told him I didn't have much but really needed medicine. He processed it, he sent over a letter for my probation officer, and then we waited on the DOH. They unfortunately weren't able to use my expired ID but in that time he went through so many of his industry contacts to try and try to get it approved. In the end they still needed an updated ID. It was impossible without the state opening up due to covid 19 for me to obtain an ID. I tell him I could really use the money while we wait for the economy to open up so I can get another ID. So what does he do after going through all the trouble to handle my situation? He gives me a full refund without any hesitation and tells me don't worry we'll get you squared away when you're able to get that ID. It's been nothing but love and real care from him and his business. Don't go through anyone else! For the simple fact that he actually cares is the only reason you need. Normally, I would read Yelp reviews instead of posting one. However, the friendliness, professionalism, and service from Paul and the Honolulu Wellness Center has been the impetus to write my first review. I was looking for a solution/natural option for my chronic health issue and found Paul and the Honolulu Wellness Center (HWC). I didn't like the GI downsides of taking NSAID's or opioids continuously, especially if I have to take them on a regular for several years. My search for some relief for my pain led me to Paul and the Honolulu Wellness Center (HWC) located at Restaurant Row, Waterfront Tower #4. Paul's quick and professional service and his openness to questions and availability made this a positive experience. If I had to give a downside, probably the only, only downside, (and this is just me being nit-picky) it may seem a little costly for those on a budget, however, the money is well spent as Paul and HWC made this process so smooth. I would recommend them to anyone in the process or thinking about getting their medical card. Beyond that, Paul and Honolulu Wellness Center really personally care about whether your needs are being met or not; it helps to have a thoughtful discussion with them in order to hash out the rest of your journey together! Had an old blue card but let it lapse for a while, and when it came time for me to get a 329 for a debilitating medical condition and check out these newly opened dispensaries, I found HWC and were impressed with both their track record and their convenient townside location. Paul met up with me at their Restaurant Row office and guided me step-by-step through the newfangled 329 application procedures, and then took care of the entire process quickly and efficiently. Then when it came time this year to get a renewal, Paul made the process even easier for me as I dealt with various medical issues and traveling for treatment. I have been working with Paul for several years now and have referred many of my friends to him as well. Personal concierge means someone to think about the small things so you don't have to worry about it in the future. Like when he calls you and says that your card is about to expire and he wants to make sure that you can continue receiving cannabis, or when your wallet gets stolen at the beach and the last thing you thought about replacing was the 329 card until you ran out of flower and then realized you couldn't buy anymore because the 329 card was in the stolen wallet. Sent a quick text to Paul. Less than five minutes later I had a working digital copy emailed to me that allowed me to access the dispensary immediately. Dr Klink is such a gentlemen! He is always smiling, and is super nice, and has a very caring personality. The location is very convenient as well. Plenty of free parking space, his clinic is located in Nauru Tower, a beautiful location with a private elevator. Speaking of privacy, if you value your privacy you can schedule your appointment with Dr. Klink after hours. Dr Klink is a great listener, he listens to all concerns before choosing the best treatment option. His office is co-located with The Infinity Life Center and is on the fourth floor. Harvey Paul Klink of Honolulu Wellness Center went way beyond the call helping me get my 329 card renewal. too much time had passed after visiting the wellness center. I called Paul and he checked on it right away and found out that they had processed it weeks ago. I am 76 years old and not at all computer savvy. Paul retrieved my card on his computer and printed it (I don't have a printer) and then mailed (snail) it to me. I have no problem going to my mailbox but I do have a problem retrieve an email. Apparently a simple phone call was all it took to help manage my discomforts and improve the quality of my days. They may be busy at the time you call, but rest assured they do take all their calls and inquiries very seriously.
