The Hoodoo Moab casitas are downright amazing. There isn't really anywhere else can you find a modern, clean 2,500 square foot condo in Moab that's big enough for the whole family, yet is still considered a hotel room. We usually travel with a pretty large group of 6-7 people. (Yep, 6-7!) So the casitas fit the bill perfectly. There was a nice full size kitchen downstairs, with a pullout bed option in the sitting area. There was a little dining room table as well. Upstairs there were multiple bedrooms with pretty comfortable beds and pillows. The bathrooms were also nice and the showers were powerful which is always a huge plus at any hotel. It also had a really nice pool area with a neat little whirlpool section that the kids really enjoyed. Everything was updated and modern so it was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again. read more

I think this must be one of the nicer places to stay while visiting this area. This hotel seems newly built, has a resort feel with a nice pool with food and drink service, a fairly decent restaurant, just a bit on the pricy side for what you get, in addition to the typical hotel room they also have a great offering of 2 bedroom casitas with their own pool and hottub area, and lots of green space in their complex. This is a dog friendly, kid friendly resort, very close to the downtown area of Moab for easy access to shops and restaurants. This place is perfectly placed and beautifully built. The rooms were clean as were the bathrooms. Room service was very nice about taking all the trash and cleaning up the dishes. I only had one complaint and it was a fairly large one. The mattress in the king bedroom was lumpy and super uncomfortable. I spent 2 nights on it before my back completely rebelled. When I addressed this with the front desk, they offered a mattress topper to even out the lumps and this was a very good solution. I still highly recommend this place and would suggest to review the mattress right away if you have back issues - and it is for this reason I took off one star. read more

Loved the Hoodoo! The location is perfect and walkable to so much! The hotel is new and clean and the casitas are HUGE. Ours (a 2 bedroom) had three full bathrooms. So many patios and balconies off each bedroom room and outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the outdoor areas of your casita. Even though there's not pool side food/drink service, they did have an employee bring bottled water to everyone at the pool one day. Diamond guests get $30 credits to use in the steakhouse or the little sundries shop. Arrival and departure days are interchangeable but otherwise the credit needs to be spent each day. We loved Moab and a huge part of that was the Hoodoo. read more

They charge for parking which is fine except that I'm not sure they check that cars parked in Hilton Diamond spaces were Diamond members. It seemed like some people just parked there. A special pass should be given to Diamond members. Some cars didn't even have a parking pass displayed. The room was average. Noting sumptuous being a boutique hotel version of a Hilton property. No complimentary breakfast or beverages provided. We were on the ground floor and faced the parking lot. People could easily see into the room which led to blinds being closed most of the stay and artificial lighting. Tv had some apps which was nice and hook ups to watch our own media. Water pressure strong with one quirk of water got cold when somewhere someone flushed their toilet. The pool area is large and pretty. Hot tub and towels provided. You can sit and have a drink as well. Ice machine and convenience nook with snacks, toiletries and souvenirs available. Bed was fine. Pillows too soft for me. Bathrobe, hair dryer, iron and lighted makeup mirror provided. The shower was large which I love. The toiletries in pump bottles with a shelf for your own and a stool if you need. The restaurant serves a breakfast buffet and a regular menu for breakfast. We didn't eat there but it looked fancy. I liked the fireplace in the lobby area and they have baggage carts for use. Everything was fine except the sink is nice to look at design wise but they installed the faucet too close to one edge. Between that and the higher rise stopper you can barely wash your hands. That's the design flaw which vexed us. So while it was nice, I liked being able to wash my hands well so I'm not sure I'd recommend it. read more

While we had dinner at the restaurant Josie Wyatt's (separate review) NEGATIVE - The girls working at the bar were more interested in gossip amount themselves and took us 10 minutes to get our drinks. We were the only ones at the bar for a short while until 2 guys showed up then it was forget the customers and talk sh*t about fellow staff members and others. We left after one drinks and had dinner. If you're 25 and hit they will love you. Drinks were weak too... We did have a great dinner and service at Josie Wyatt's though! read more

This time was spur of the moment and spent $499.00 for a room with no air conditioning we called the desk who said the air conditioning is silent call after 30min. An hr. Later maintenance changed everything adjusted and it still doesn't work. We are tired and don't want maintenance in our room this late. 10:30. Remember this when booking here. read more

Best hotel in Moab! We have stayed at many hotels in Moab over the years but this is our go to! It's like stepping into an oasis in the desert from the moment you walk in the door. Boutique feel designed to capture the feel of the surrounding area. A touch of luxury in an otherwise harsh and hectic place. It has a unique scent that I love. It always makes me feel like this is a property that someone cares about. The rooms are spacious and well designed. We love the patios units that have a formal living space that allows separation from the sleeping area. Beds are comfortable. Rooms seem well maintained although after 3 years there is some minor wear and tear that happens. Nothing that you wouldn't experience at home or even at a luxury property in the city. Bathrooms have huge showers, Soaking tubs and they use Beekman's brand products which are awesome. Closeted toilets are a nice touch as well. Rooms have coffee, wardrobe and a mini fridge and feel really comfy. Love the art and little touches in design. Staff seem well-trained and pleasant. Josie Wyatt's can be busy. Breakfast and dinner have been crazy there and the bar is popular as well. It opens onto the pool patio area which is nice in the warmer months. Honestly, we rarely eat here and chose to patronize the local restaurants but it's a decent on-property option. Lots of parking and the new casitas expansion offers great family type options for a healthy price even in the off season. Obviously, I could go on...but safe to say. Quality, location and amenities are the selling points here. There may be other similar quality options north of town but that's miles away and not a walkable option if you want to enjoy the often frenetic vibe of Moab. read more

We stayed in one of the casitas, plenty of space for our family of 4. Location is fantastic, just a block off Main Street so an easy walk to shops/restaurants. The food truck park is right across the street, but was closed in December. The kitchen is fairly well equipped, although the pots and pans seem cheap and if used carelessly I can see them not being in great condition. Seems strange there is clearly space and set up for washer/dryer, but that space was just empty. There is one hand towel in the kitchen and no dishcloth provided. We did not love the sliding barn doors for the en suite bathrooms. They are loud when opened and do not really provide much privacy. The windows in the bathroom are rippled, but if you are close enough at night you can clearly see in. The couch in the living room is extremely uncomfortable and the room is not set up for more than one person to be able to see the TV well. We asked for cleaning service after two nights, but they never came. We really did love our stay, but there is room for improvement. read more

Luxurious stay in an outdoor enthusiast paradise. We were in town for a wedding and even though the lobby is bustling, the rooms are a quiet solace. High ceilings, elegant touches, large windows. Hilton really knows how to do it. I think the only downside is there is no coffee options for guests outside of the restaurant. We did sit and eat at the restaurant but typically when we travel, my partner goes downstairs while I sleep or get ready to have some coffee in the lobby. A gorgeous hotel. Convenient location, beautiful grounds, comfortable bedding. Stayed in king suite for three days mid-May. -- Location Central to town and a top notch restaurant on site. Even though town is a block away, the hotel is quiet and off the beaten path. -- Staff Not over the top accommodating like you find in luxury resorts, but friendly and attentive enough. We didn't have issues, which probably helped. -- Cleanliness Very clean, plenty of bedding, no bugs or grossness. Walk in shower, spacious bathroom with water closet and tub. -- Style Has the feel of understated luxury. Balcony overlooked the pool. Lovely decor befitting the area. -- Comfort Comfortable and quiet enough. There were some events happening, but all noise stopped by 8-9pm. There were two different couples cavorting in the pool one day, which felt a bit trashy for the place. -- Overall Would definitely stay here again. Clean, modern, great location. First, the ambiance is beautiful. Love the staircase and the various seating areas. While most of our days were spent on excursions, coming into a clean, refreshed room was a blessing. It was a spacious room. One day we found an odd welcome message (after day 2) on our TV screen with a code, that was odd. We brought it up to the main desk and they mentioned it happening often. The location was conveniently located near the Moab Food Truck park and walking distance to Jailhouse Cafe, Moab Roasters and Ice Cream as well as a quaint bookstore Back and Beyond. Amazing Resort! It's only 5 years old according to staff. So beautifully decorated in desert colors. This hotel has 2 swimming pools but you definitely want to use the large one. Bottom Line: Modern, comfortable, attractive and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. My husband and I loved staying at the Hoodoo Moab. The hotel has a lovely aesthetic with a subtle nod to Moab's mining days. We stayed in a king suite that had a super comfy King sized bed, separate sitting area, spacious bathroom and a large patio overlooking the pool and red rocks. The bed was so comfortable that we debated if we could stay in it forever! The lighting and furniture used in the rooms were very thoughtfully designed and those features made the room feel more luxurious. I just love good lighting in a hotel room! We also appreciated the smart TVs in the room as they were helpful in checking out some YouTube videos on the local area. Aside from the nice room, we really appreciated how close the hotel was to the Moab hot spots. It was easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Also, it was a quick drive from the hotel to Arches National Park. We also found this location was a good jumping off point for Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park. A large self-parking lot made it easy to get in the car and go our for adventures. A feature of this hotel that we were very grateful for was guest laundry! The hotel has two washers and two dryers, both of which are coin operated. After hiking for several days it was nice to be able to wash our clothes before heading to our next destination. I would not have wanted to let our hiking clothes ferment for a week before returning home! read more

This is a beautiful, modern and comfortable hotel. I loved the decor, the lobby and entrance is beautiful, and the large swimming area is very nice. We stayed in a double queen bed suite with a sitting area and large balcony overlooking the pool. The bathroom was very luxurious and spacious and the beds were soooo comfy. Staff were super friendly and they have an adventure desk where you can look at and book local Hummer and canoe tours and such. The hotel has free parking - though it does get tight - and it's in a prime location just a couple blocks from the main street in Moab. It's quieter there but a 5 minute walk up to the main road for tons of food and shopping. There is also a new food truck park right across the street and we stopped for gelato and smoothies there a few days. It also has several vendors selling food and has a large seating area in the middle where you can eat. Love love love! It's a bit pricey - but so worth it! read more

Visited here for the second time this year. It's still a great addition to the zillions of hotels in Moab, with comfortable rooms, a great swimming pool and an easy walk into town. The staff is tremendous. Why only 4 stars? Whoever designed the rooms clearly hates coffee drinkers. The Keurig is on a shelf, even pulled out, it's difficult to fill the water reservoir. You are making coffee on your knees. You can do better than this! read more

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hoodoo Moab. We stayed for a full week in a suite (two queen beds with a separate TV area) for our entire family. First, the rooms were modern and clean. With all of our hiking gear, we were happy to have a decent entrance area for staging as well as extra space in the TV room area. The beds were comfortable and every slept HARD - always a good sign. Our room overlooked the pool and that was just fine by us. It's a lovely setup in the courtyard. We appreciated the ongoing service of the hotel - we were traveling with a cooler that we needed to restock with ice because of some food restrictions. When the maintenance staff saw we were trying to fill up our buckets multiple times, they came back with a HUGE back of ice that kept the whole week (thanks to our Yeti). The hotel is just off the main area so we didn't hear the traffic but were just a block or two from the main strip downtown. It was also a great central place to head to Arches or Canyonlands. The pool area was lovely. I'm taking one star because there were only 2 umbrellas for the whole hotel. I'm a pasty white girl who doesn't tan - just burns. That's a deal killer. Please add more umbrellas and shade for folks! read more

Dishes were dirty in our casita & I can see why (they only give you 2 dishwasher tabs, a tiny half full dish soap bottle but no sponge) so the previous guest just poorly rinsed the dishes & returned them to the shelf. The dishes still had food caked on them. Gross! No hand soap (liquid or bar) was provided in the kitchen so you'll need to bring your own or grab a bar soap from one of the bathrooms. I saw a cleaning person nearby so I went to ask for more dish tabs & trash bags as our small kitchen trash bin was getting full. Microwave is weak so you'll have to increase the time to get your food properly reheated. There is an area for a washer & dryer next to the kitchen but the actual appliances are not there in our casita so we'll have to find the coin operated laundry mat nearby to wash our clothes. I used the hairdryer to dry my child's wet clothes after playing in the snow. Both upstairs bathrooms were poorly designed with a sliding door. Sliding bathroom door for a room with a double bed is a terrible idea. You can hear & smell everything. Front desk stated the cleaning crew must come every 4 days (can schedule sooner if you want) but they didn't even come during our 5 days there. Heated pool was not heated enough for the 40-50 degree weather. Not sure what the actual temperature setting is but it definitely needs to be warmer for the guests to truly enjoy the pool in the winter months. Hot tub was nice & toasty so it was a great way to relax after our long drive. read more

What an exceptional place to stay while visiting Moab. It is beautiful, clean and customer service is outstanding. It is in the heart of Moab & of course surrounded by the beautiful mountains? Close to hiking spots, the Arches, Meek Creek trail, as well as Main Street et al. Parking is within the complex and free. There is a pool and a restaurant in the lobby for convenience. They have a laundry room for $1 (you can't beat that). The gym was just enough & had a Peloton bike which I loved! The hotel itself is well designed and the interior design is aesthetically pleasing, the hallways, bathrooms, rooms & lightings. I loved the lanterns that they had in the hallways. & everyone I met here, & especially the staff were so nice. Me & my friend did not want to leave lol. If I come back to Moab I'd definitely stay here again & highly recommend. read more

You get what you pay for and we LOVED this place! We came for our 36th anniversary to spend a few days hiking, relaxing the eating...success! Our room was upgraded and we overlooked the pool and mountains. We enjoyed hiking every day and loved coming back to our clean room with comfortable beds and great pool! We left a nice tip for our housekeeping because that was so appreciated. Our best meals were right at Josie Wyatt's Grille. We ate dinner there two nights and loved the steak, prime rib and arugula and beet salad. On our drive back to Denver I realized an hour in that I had left my diamond earrings on the counter in the bathroom. I contacted the hotel right away and Maroni (not sure of spelling) assured me he would locate them. About an hour later he called and told me that he found them and they would send them out UPS! I was super thankful and they have already arrived safe! Thank you for going above and beyond. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel! read more

Hoodoo Moab was a wonderful place to stay while in Moab. Located a street away from the main street in town, you can easily get around town or to the National Parks but still, feel a little distant from the main areas of downtown. The hotel is beautiful and clean and the staff is wonderful and easy to reach in both the app as well as text to answer any questions. We were fortunate enough to get upgraded to a suite that affords a view of the pool, a living room, and a bathtub. Plenty of space and a nice aesthetic with the sliding doors. There's a restaurant connected to the hotel so can get room service from them. Enjoyed our stay. Free parking that can get busy during weekends. The only small complaint is walls are thin enough to get some noise from neighbors or by the pool. Wasn't a big deal for us but could see it be less ideal during peak travel months. Hoodoo is advertised as one of the most upscale hotels in the Moab area. To start with, there was a large line with one woman checking everyone in at what seemed to be some sort of podium and not a proper front desk. For those not staying with kids / bringing kids, pls. know that this is a family friendly hotel and there are kids running everywhere. Down the hall, to the pool, into the elevators, etc. We even had a kid running circles around their bed above us for hours. I had to call the front desk because we couldnt sleep. So, just know that the walls are thin and if you need a getaway from your own kids, this is not the place! ;) There is construction outside of the hotel and that was what what we had to see out of our window! It was cold and the hotel was not booked, so I don't know why they put us there...sheesh. The interior of the rooms is interesting. If you're hiking / biking they do have a bike room but the room itself does not cater to outdoorsy folks. The fridge is teeny and wasn't cold at all. The furniture is worn but the linens were ok. For the cherry on top of our lovely stay, we had ants! Yes, they were crawling on top of the nightstand. Do you know how I found out about the ants? Because I set my glasses down on the nightstand and an ant crawled on them. I put my glasses on my face and there was an ant crawling on my lens in front of my eye! Gross! Not what we expected from a hotel advertised as one of the "nicest" in Moab! 1 star and we're not coming back. read more

Excellent location, easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Hotel is two years old and looks fantastic. We had a queen suite and enjoyed having a separate bedroom. Large, luxurious shower and a rather deep oval shaped tub. Odd shaped but interesting sink. Heavy sliding doors between bath, living room and bedrooms. Lack of exhaust fan in bathroom was strange. Hallways are heavily carpeted and "offset" design of halls lowers noise level. Large balcony overlooking the pool area was far enough away to reduce some pool noise. We stayed in room 252, near the end of the hall. This location near the stairwell made for easy access to the parking lot and avoided the lobby and elevator. We stayed six nights and heard no sounds from the room above. There were occasional sounds from our neighbors but the hotel was quiet overall. The suite is equipped with a Keurig and mini-refrigerator. No microwave. One area of improvement: more drawers. It is hard to picture four people sharing the limited amount of storage. read more

Expensive but super clean and excellent location. The fromt desk staff was super helpful too. We were van camping for a week and then due to heavy snowfall in moab decided to stay in this hotel. Pretty awesome experience. We havent tried their restaurant though the menu looked more for non vegetarian folks. Enjoy your stay. read more
