But for the most part the young woman whom was helping us she was okay. Another thing that I found really helpful was that most of the flooring samples had names of the product and the styles. Well it's time for the bads ot the area of improvements for this location. When you walk in you should really pay attention to your step at all times, due to they've done the flooring to their showroom with numerous different types of flooring that you could go from hardwood to hardwood or hardwood to carpet like that, making it a big trip hazard so again watch your step. From the entrance to now on the showroom flooring theres no price tags on any of the displays until your informed that the prices are on the backside of each sample, and the prices are marked up a little bit higher then most that I've seen. Is it horrible pricing? Not really! Unless you really know flooring then you might know more then the average consumer. So overall Carpet King in a whole, is it worth your time and money? To be honest I'd say in my opinion it's all personal preference, depending on what your looking for an how much your looking for this maybe your place, this may not be a place. But if you are able to find a price that's lower the owner Kelly maybe able to work on a lower price or price match for a competitor prices. So that is a PLUS!! but overall I'd say shop around before saying YES! to anything before making your final decision because it's not something your wanting to do over and over.

While they didn't have exactly what I was looking for I did see they have a great selection of wood, hardware, tools, some farm equipment and necessity use and they even have baby chicks !!!!! I was too distracted and didn't get a chance to take picture of their yard but they have a huge selection. Really good selection and the prices are competitive keeping in mind the other options are 45 minutes away. Definitely worth checking it out for that next project on the list.

I do not recommend Royal floors. Not only once but twice…read morethey did vinyl flooring in my kitchen. First time they had triangle cut into floor, under cabinet thinking it wouldn't be seen. The cuts were far from acceptable the seam were so sloppy put together they ended up rolling and coming up. They came out said they'd redo floor at no cost. With different vinyl than we paid for. That if you put a chair on it it would indent the vinyl very cheap and very uncomfortable to walk on. They had another installer come in (Sid) he wasn't familiar with seams continued calling office. He laid the floor not only one seam but two within 21/2 feet of each other. Same thing started pulling up and rolling. Continued to text sid he would say if he has time he'll come fix it. While Steve knew that there was a problem as he asked Randy, Randy told him he was waiting for Sid to come back. Steve if Sid knows about he'll come fix it. No Sid and no check up call from Steve Nor Troy ( The Higher ups) I speak with Joel which he done more than Steve, Troy or Sid. Have all messages if need verification. We tell Joel we're going to go through someone else as Sid never showed up no call from Royal floors, Let them know we'd have someone else come in on January11th. We recieve a message January 12th if you havent gotten your floor redone Steve & I would like to come in and fix the flooring. How convenient day after we told them were having someone else come in. Again I have messages. Day late $1700 later. Then we get if you had someone come in a redo the flooring what can Steve do about it. How about a refund or labor cost refunded..... Also if you haven't heard from Sid call back. Hello you all know the how about your company reach out. This went on for over a month before we had someone else come in. Not once did they do a horrible flooring job but twice. Think twice before hiring Royal floors in Fernley, Nevada. Like I said I have photos of both jobs and all messages if need verification. He helped me make the best flooring choices for me and even considered my life style. He also factored in what I could afford and gave me great suggestions on how to keep costs down. From Steve to the guy who measured and to Shane and Dakota, who put the floorings in, I was impressed. All extremely pleasant and helpful. They even made sure that I knew how to care for my new floors. They gave me great ideas on how to clear out the house and where to temporarily store things. They moved my furniture for me and then put it all back. As to the floorings, I am so pleased with the colors. I enjoy my house so much more now. It looks exactly the way I had pictured it. With the new paint, it looks like a model home. I could not be happier. My dad used this company as well and had all the same guys. We have all been impressed and very happy with their work. These are expensive investments so you want the best. You will not be disappointed.

Joe doesn't keep good notes on discussions with his clients regarding what's needed. I advised him to keep electronic notes, which he declined. He's Old School. 2. When adversity strikes, Joe has a bit of a problem taking responsibility. 3. Joe takes the word of his sub contractors over the observations of his clients. 4. Joe seems to want to charge $150.00 for any issues which involve having his sub contractors return to finish a job that should have been completed. All in all, we're satisfied, but like most contractors, be prepared to fight for a job well done.
