After leaving our boat untouched for six months, I ran into battery issues the day we needed it for a gathering with friends. I hit a wall troubleshooting online and took a chance calling Michael on a Sunday. Not only did he invite me to come by, but he already had the cables I needed waiting when I arrived. Rather than simply ringing up the sale, he walked me through the fix, explained the risks, and made sure I knew what to watch out for. When I discovered the damage was worse than expected -- acid corrosion on additional cables -- Michael had already left for the day, but still called into the shop so his colleagues could get me what I needed. He also answered my text messages asking him more questions. Thanks to him, we had a wonderful cruise with our friends that afternoon. It's genuinely reassuring to know that a knowledgeable, generous Duffy dealer is nearby -- not just when you're buying, but whenever you need real help.

We were a group of 10 and the largest duffy boat available was more than enough more to move around the boat and still be comfortable. We were able to bring our own food and drinks, which was perfect for the experience! Def check the weather before your booked day, it was a sunny perfect day in May and not windy at all which was definitely enjoyable!

They have classes for rowing, they have E-Row, the have classes for younger kids for rowing. This is a Rowing Club. Now. The club also has Surfskis. If you want to paddle Surfskis. Their surfskis are super nice. They have V5, V8s, V10s. You can start all the way from beginner and make your way to the olympics on V10s. The boats are in brand new condition. The paddles are grat. The club also has two functional outriggers but no paddles. But at least they let you paddle them, unlike all the annoying outrigger Hawaiian clubs who won't let you touch their single Outriggers for fear you might break something. I was mainly an outrigger guy, so I loved this place. The people in the club were great. Mainly Chris Flynn, Operations Director. He let me fix the outriggers and paddle them. When there was an issue with a former club taking away my paddle he made them give it back. Anything you ask and he is happy to give it a try, you need parts, classes. So, if you have some spare change and want to go paddle BIAC is the place. You can paddle backwards You can surfski for exercise when the wind picks up if you are bored, you can even outrigger and pretend you are Kamaaina."Local", want some community join the E-Rows and have a blast or just roll in and do your thing on your time, no one is judging. Have fun.

I got a single sit-in kayak for one hour ($20). A staff member helped me sit into the kayak and, with a gentle shove, I was on my way into the wide open and calm waters. Kayaking offers a unique way of exploring the city that you cannot do on land. Navigate the waterfront properties, go under bridges, and get as close as you can to the birds. I stumbled upon a duck hangout near Catamaran Park! Just keep track of the time and the staff will be there to welcome you back on land. Until the next adventure!

There was a bit of a line and I can see the owners were trying to accommodate everyone they could. Because it was so busy, we couldn't get a double kayak, unless we waited ~1hr, so we went with the pedal boat. Although it was fun floating around the lagoon, it was super slow (as they are) and it made it difficult to turn around in when you get stuck at a dead end. The pricing was okay... it was $10 per 30 mins per person and CASH ONLY. I would definitely recommend an hour if you are going with pedal boat. I give the whole experience 3.5/5. I appreciate the owners trying their best to accommodate, but it was clear that the most popular option was the double kayak, but also the limited option, as others were also waiting for one of those to be available.

The last time we rafted Middle Fork American was on a cold, gloomy, drizzling day in October 2019 - so we had to give it another go in warmer weather. This time around was just as memorable. Two of us in the boat ended up falling out in the water at Tunnel Chute, which happened so fast that I barely knew what had happened - thankfully, there was a nice calmer stretch of water right after through the river tunnel, so we were easily able to get back into the raft. (Thank you to our guide, Troy, for hauling me back in, and for being an awesome guide in general!) Plus this was one of the photographer spots, so the action was all captured for us to laugh about later. Later, after our tasty sandwich picnic lunch, we had a few unexpected events happen, starting from the portage down Ruck-a-Chucky Falls. Shout-out to all three guides in our group - Troy, Shea, and AJ - for handling things so calmly and getting us all back where we were supposed to be! We had plenty of calm stretches floating down the river as well. The canyon is beautiful and quite peaceful. We saw a ton of dragonflies flying above our heads, masked ducks chilling on rocks and diving underwater, and wild grapes and blackberries growing alongside the river. We'll be back again for another trip with All-Outdoors! Maybe we'll try a 2-day or 3-day trip next time.

So inspiring and I hope I get to do the same, retire early, travel the world and learn culture through food. Each of us rotated navigating the sail and driving the sailboat. I must say coordination is definitely essential and good listening skills is a must as each of us got the opportunity to work as a team. After sailing, Spinnaker provided us with a wonderful bbq treat over at their conference center. It was delicious. I had the opportunity to get to know our team up close and personal, caught up with what they enjoy doing outside of work environment (tech), and it was a great way to share each other's passions. I highly recommend coming to Spinnaker for a company retreat, or simply take advantage of a family and friends get together. They provide lessons, group discounts including one on one, boat included, and you even get to sit next to their awesome skippers who will assist you to navigate the San Francisco Bay waters. We all had a fantastic time, and we can't thank John, our skipper for his excellent service and to all Spinnaker staff who was responsible for a memorable time. Cheers!
