We had Summer taking care of us and she was super sweet. My boneless chicken was super fresh and perfectly cooked to. I was happily surprised especially with the ratings of this Hooter. Sometimes if you hit one of the not so good Hooters they might be stingy on the sauce but not this one! We had both Hot and 3 Mile Island and they where both great. Hot fries, hot fried Mozzarella sticks. They had only Pinot Grigio and Muscado for white wine, but the PG was cold and not bad so I didn't miss my Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc that much. Overall really good experience.

Jacora was amazing ! Super attentive ! Service was great and food was killer! Loved the touch tunes as well! Such a vibe !

So... I've lived up in the Sumner County area for almost 6 years and I have never ever been to this Hooters. The main reason was the terrible reviews this location has. I'll be honest, in my adolescent years, I came for the girls but now I come for the food. Seriously. Just like the marketing on TV back in the 90s or so for Playboy was "do you read it for the articles or the photos"? So yeah, it's that uncomfortable reaction you get when you suggest a Hooter's for a place to eat. People question your intentions of really enjoying the food or the view. Anyway... A busy work night down in Nashville had me craving wings but the problem was it was 10 pm. There are really good places to get wings (my preference is Wingstop and then Buffalo Wild Wings) but of course they were closed. The Hooter's at Largo Dr, Nashville was open but I didn't want to drive home at 11 PM, so I decided to finally give the one in Rivergate a try. It was as busy as you'd imagine on a 10PM, Monday night. There was a small party of people, some dudes at the bar and then me. I don't drink, so I was seated at the other side of the restaurant. My waitress was Madison and one of the better Hooter's waitresses I've had in a LONG time. Personable, down to Earth, was accommodating and yes, she had really pretty eyes. I ordered the fried pickles (great) but was told they didn't have oysters (boo). Then I had a mix of Hooter's Original wings in Garlic Parm and Honey Sriracha. Like I said the food is exactly what I remembered and actually cooked well. Next time I'll order the Philly Cheese steak, which is my other go-to. I'm curious if they still have their steak sandwich... Hmm. Anyway, I had a good experience. No complaints besides the lack of oysters. Madison was a great waitress and I'll definitely be more open to coming back.

We all know that one does not go to hooters for the food. That being said, when did families with young children start eating there?

They have outdoor volleyball, huge outdoor seating/patio area, with cornhole. It sometimes looks like the aftermath of a rush week frat party, but that just means people were raging the night before and you missed out. Amirite? They've got 2 pool tables, snack candy food dispenser, video poker, jukebox, AND several old school arcade machines. They had them before all the hipster barcades started too popping up too, talk about OG bar fun I tell you. They have a deadbeat DJ playing top 40s and decent hiphop on weekends, with a solid sound system and great acoustics for the venue because of its lodge-esq feel and open air wooded infastructure. The fact that it turns into a dance club atmosphere with bass booms, lasers lights, and low lighting is a nice breath of fresh air compared to the honkey skonk suet downtown. Nothing special, just a nice dance club dive at night. This atmosphere also attracts hoodwinks, so be warned. Theyre all honestly harmless as long as youre not acting like a complete doucet - or wearing a certain gang color (sarcasm?). For demographics, this bar is par for the course in its neck of the woods. I hate that they dont serve drinks in real glasses though, only plastic. Theyve got a wide variety of TVs, not the biggest, but they do the job. They also have poker on Wednesday nights. The food is pretty decent, they actually use a grill. The grilled chicken sandwich is actually curiously fantastic.

About 20 minutes for 2 people. They do have a cool text system so you know how long you've been waiting and where you are in the queue. Appreciated that. It was pretty warm out, and they had the big windows open, but there was no breeze, and we were inside in a corner. Our server came about 10 minutes after we were seated. He was very nice, but never refilled my empty water glass, and my hubby had to ask twice to get a 2nd beer. I ordered chicken tenders with a side of broccoli. I got fries. Fine, the universe wanted me to have more carbs. The food was ok. I think the food is a little more consistent at the Hendersonville location, but its like a cave in there, and I am not a bat. I don't think this is a great place to drive to for lunch. It would be pretty convenient if you're hungry and out on the lake. I didn't realize those options would be frozen & microwaved, at least that's what it tasted like. The broccoli had absolutely zero seasoning & came out mushy & lifeless. The cauliflower "wings" were all broken, tiny pieces that were dark brown & overly fried. I wasn't expecting much, but charging $20 for frozen food dumped into a fryer & also microwaved is a less than desirable to me. My companion's burger came with no condiments & although our sever said the fries were fresh, they were really greasy & soggy. It was all disappointing to say the least. I get why people like this place. If you drink, it looks fun, affordable, & you probably don't care what the food's like. The bar was full for 1 pm on a Wednesday. If that's your gig, I'd say it's the place to go. If you're looking for fresh food, I'd say keep on walking.
