A rather uncomfortable vibe, but the food at this location is better than any other Hooters I have visited.

I actually like coming here a lot. However this was the worst time I have ever had. My waitress was absolutely rude. And my fathers meal looked liked a dogs dinner. His fish was mangled and chunks instead of a fillet. I was so close to asking for another one. And my sandwich was missing tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. I had to ask for it while receiving more rudeness. I will comeback but never sit in her section or ask for someone else to serve me. Been coming here for years. But, it's been going downhill over time. The food usually is good. This visit I did enjoyed it. However, as my husband and I are entering the restaurant outside the entrance there was a group of young guys smoking weed. Now really!? C'mon now. What has it come down to? Now people can't come to enjoy a good meal at a restaurant because it has to come down to this. Also, the restaurant could be cleaner. Menus are dirty. Service was quick! Our server knew the prices of all of the menu items. The food came out correctly and quickly. The only thing is the wings weren't spicy (I got the spicy BBQ, friend got spicy buffalo). Otherwise the wings were fried to perfection. read more

If you notice a blue cheese or ranch missing when your food comes out, you must tell the server IMMEDIATELY. I had the misfortune of telling my server after the bill came. I was charged for a sauce that was NEVER delivered to my table. My thought was since the sauce wasn't brought to my table it surely wouldn't be on my bill. I even asked before my card was ran to have it adjusted. I was told it's impossible to adjust now. This practice is blatant robbery. I will not be cheated by this location again. It's a matter of principle, not .89. Do the math. Each lost customer is worth a lot more than eighty nine cents. This would be a good topic of discussion at the next consortium in Clearwater,FL, which is where my next Hooters visit will take place. read more

I've been coming to this location for years. Service is decent and I've loved their wings up until now. They're oversized and doesn't really taste the same as before. I can't shake the feeling that they've been injected to enlarge them. The location on Cicero has the original wings but the service isn't as good but I'm willing to deal with it until Lansing reverts back. read more

I only come here because it is close and I like the food but it is hit-and-miss on the service you have good days you have bad days. Jessica, the manager of Hooter's of Lansing treated my guest and I very poorly on 8-7-19. The kitchen put fries on the wrong plate and Jessica wanted to correct the kitchen's error by taking the fries off my plate and serving them to my friend. Jessica said to me you can't keep those fries, listen I didn't steal the fries the kitchen put the fries on my plate and when Jessica said I couldn't keep the fries, I took them off my plate Jessica then put them in front of my friend instead of bringing my friend out a new order of fries from the kitchen. I told Jessica to cancel the entire order. We are her over an order of fries, that the kitchen accidentally but on my plate and Jessica refusing is getting this negative review, threw away food and lost my business $$ when she could have just brought my guest an order of fries and she still could have thrown away the fries on my plate, again it was their error.. I called Hooters Corp at 1-770-951-2040 and the Customer Service Rep laughed and said this person is dumb. I went to Hooter's of Orland and Dana was an awesome server. I ordered from this restaurant through grub hub app. This restaurant made a mistake and did not give me the wings I ordered instead a box of fries and instead of owning up to the mistake both the employee and the manager argued with me on the phone that they called the driver. I this is my 3rd time coming to this location. It was my 2year old son and I. I ask for a booster seat instead of a high chair. We sat at a higer table. I was happy with that but. The table they sat me at. The two table one in front of me had 6 people were only 4 could seat there so my child had to sit at the end and the other table had a heavier person behind my seat so I had to seat very close to the table. I do not find any joy in writing this review. I've been going here for years and the last two time have been dissatisfied with the customer service from the hostess. I did not catch her name however my reservation though Open Table was for 9:15pm. Considering the COVID situation we're in, I make it a rule to reserve any time I go out to eat. This was no exception. I arrived on time and was greeted and asked to wait about 5 min so they can clear a table. 30 min later a table cleared up and I thought we would be seated promptly. I was extremely surprised when the hostess walked to another group of people and sat them down. I asked why that happened and her reply was they've been waiting for 4 hrs to be seated. I asked if the Open Table reservation meant anything or just a waste of time? She says they do goner the reservation but her actions showed otherwise. She at that moment could not give me a eta and said some people are also waiting and she couldn't do anything about it. I called in my order and they were very nice and professional on the phone. Well when I pulled into the lot I pleasantly surprised to see carry out parking in the packed lot. Upon entering the building I was promptly greeted and directed to the carry out counter and they were busy. Destiny rang me up she was very nice and explained what was in each box bagged my order. Although it was a great experience I was disappointed that half of my wings had no sauce on them I don't ever remember having hooters wings without sauce. I thought I ordered Hot and Hot Chipotle Bbq. The Chipotle were very good and flavorful. The others wear not hot no sauce they were crispy but lacked flavor. Service has really declined over the past year, said I wasn't coming back the last time I was there but went back because the wife wanted shrimp and wings. Ordered 20 wings 1/2 TMI & 1/2 Chipotle BBQ received 1/2 TMI and half hot let waitress know and she said that's not what we ordered, until she looked at what we had originally ordered and then she said oh, then said that she would take them back to fix them and my wife said to just make them TMI also. She returned in less than 1 minute with the same wings on the plate floating in TMI sauce never apologized just put them on the table and left. I ordered from this Hooters location a week ago using the online order & pick up option. I was hoping I would get a survey from them personally, but I didn't, so here I am on Yelp... I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I ordered 20 wings online and was told that my order would be ready for pick up in 25 minutes. However I got there within 10-15 minutes, and to my surprise the order was on the shelf already. I didn't think much of it since it didn't seem super crowded yet, so I got my wings and headed home. This is when I realized that I had been given old, dried up wings. Old enough to the point where all of the chicken batter was cracking and falling off the chicken. It was also strange how when I picked up the chicken, it was barely covered in the BBQ sauce, so I asked for it to be retossed in the sauce... My wife and I ended up eating a few bowls of cereal, so yeah, that's how disappointing it was... Wasted $25 read more

My Husband and I waited 35 min to be seated then another 45 min for COLD 20 peice hot wings and a curly fries. We watched the waitress stand in area and talk with her co-workers for 20 min while our food was ready! I'm sorry but if I am running a Hooters franchise restaurant I should be well aware that aside from the food that the draw is for the scantily dressed waitresses. With this said what made this last experience dreadful was the waitress who appeared as if she was ready for her water to break on any given moment, came to take our order. Ok I come here on lunch all the time with fellow co workers, but today my service was terrible! My waitress Angela was nice and all but she completely ruined lunch for me. I ordered a side Caesar salad, 10 boneless spicy bbq and a Pepsi. I got my Caesar salad right away and that was great.. Then she brung out the rest of the order I looked and taste my wings and asked her what kind of sauce was this she said I think Hot. I told her I asked for spicy bbq then she stands there and goes on about how when other people help bring food out the order can be wrong etc. I said it was fine but I'm on lunch can she just bring me a cup of the sauce.. Welp I watched her walk around and she never brought me the sauce then she comes back to our table with boxes and still no sauce. So at this point I just asked for the meal to be completely taken off because it's been sitting there getting cold and once again I'm was on lunch. I work from 8am - 7pm with one lunch time and I didn't even get to eat. I would've stay to speak to the manager but I had to run back to the office. Let me start by saying I love Hooters. It's my go to wing place and I never pass up a chance to eat there. With that being said I would not visit this location again. As we walked in today around 430, I was surprised to see we needed to open the second door to the restaurant ourselves. Normally it is opened for us as we are greeted and welcomed to the restaurant. When we walked in we realized the waitresses were too busy arguing and complaining about a party being seated at two tables rather than one. As we awkwardly stood there while an irate waitress ranted on, I finally asked if we would be seated or if we should seat ourselves. We were promptly seated and our waitress was wonderful. I was pleased our experience seemed to be turning around. Our appetizers of pickles and buffalo chicken dip came out right away and were delicious. Then we got our boneless wings. They were just sitting in grease. So much so the wings were soaked in them. We could barely finish our twenty, usually never a problem, and asked for containers. Then we were told we'd have a new waitress due to shift change. Great. No problem. Or so I thought. Had to ask twice for boxes and then wait 10 minutes after that for our check. We waited around to give the waitress our cash, but after another 10 minutes of waiting decided to just leave it on the table. What a totally avoidable disappointing experience. She had to be 8 months at the least, with her shirt hiked up so you could see the bare belly. Well, I went and picked up some wings yesterday and the food was great, but the girls were still ugly. Honestly worst service ive experienced our first server had the worst look on her face while serving us when we first arrived we were greeted but not a happy one she took our drink order and brought them to us a few minutes later. we put in a order of appetizers in and she promptly walked away we decided after that that we wanted something from the bar since she was nowhere to be found and no beers were listed in the menu we chose to just walk over to the bar and order ourselves and bring them back to our table. upon delivering our food she asked if we got our drinks from the bar and with the worst look and attitude told us we were supposed to order through her which we were not aware of then as our party grew we asked to move to a bigger table which we advised them we would be doing upon entering when we told her this she gave us the worst attitude she then advised us that if we do she would no longer be our server had she been good in the beginning we would've gladly requested to keep her but gladly jumped at the opportunity to change servers we got a new server that was better in the since she at least smiled and seemed friendly but never checked on us throughout our meal finally they ended up running my card the old fashioned way by hand because apparently there system was down woke up today to find two charges for $170 and a overdraft fee smh no professionalism when I called and finally had to go back up there because apparently they dont pick up phones I literally called 10 times im not exaggerating I have call logs to prove it when I did go back up there the manager seemed as if this double charge happens often he actually told me so..he seemed like he didn't want to help solve my problem when going to the back to verify some of my info I see him stop get something to drink lean and talk to another manager obviously not about my problem because looked to be joking around when he did return all he told me was they had my info. read more

The food was awful and the service was even worse. We ordered burgers and the waitress asked if we'd like tater tots or fries- implying they were part of the $8.99 price for the burger. We got our bill and they charged us for fries separately. I asked politely why this was, and said that the way she phrased it, made it seem like the fries would be included in the meal. She said they were not, and I should have looked at menu closer. I replied that the way she phrased it was confusing and we shouldn't have to pay separately. The menu also states nothing about fries costing anything extra (Unless getting extra fries from what would be included). We also asked to have our bill split and she gave us a huge bullshit reason as to why they cannot do that. By this time I asked to speak to a manager and after doing so the waitress stormed back to the kitchen and threw all of the plates and everything else from our table down. (Loud enough for our table and several others to hear). Very poor customer service. The manager also had very poor customer service, telling me to relax and calm down on several occasions acting like it was my fault. (I didn't raise my voice or swear one time, I even went as far as to say I was sorry for being a bother, but I felt this needed to be taken care of). I will not be going back to Hooters. Family tradition. Day after the super bowl we go to Hooters--all 20 of us. This is the third year going to this location. Last year we spent app. $600. This year, the customer service and experience was horrible. We ordered drinks that took forever to arrive. My granddaughters drink was suppose to be a flavored sangria. When it arrived, it looked bad and when she tasted it, it tasted even worse. She asked the person that brought the drink if she could send it back because it tasted bad. She rudely dismissed her. My sister in law went with her to look for a manager and she was told that there was no manager, but that a person was in charge. This person refused to replace the drink and instead gave her a card with her name and a phone number to call and complain. Our food took forever and this incident spoiled the entire mood of the occasion. Two persons in our party that came later did not want to order because of this incident. As well, we all stopped ordering drinks. Because of the lack of good customer service, Hooters lost at least a couple hundred dollars instead of replacing a horrible-tasting drink. My sister in law also tasted it and she said it was HORRIBLE!! So guess what no Hooters next year. So I called in an order of 10 buffalo shrimp and curly fries. I was told it would take 15 minutes. I got there in 25. I paid for my order and left. I stay in the city so driving this way was a bit of a distance. But I really wanted those shrimp. I pop the lid of my fries and they are ice cold. Even worst, my shrimp was also cold. I called in to inform them that my food was cold and that I couldn't come back right away. A supervisor named LAUREN picked up with an attitude of course and stated that I should have arrived 10 minutes prior to pick up my order and it wouldn't have been cold. Shocked, I asked her to repeat herself. Once she did I disconnected call. I order from this place all the time. I've never gotten cold food. I decided to give them an additional 10 minutes because when I get there my food is NEVER READY. LAUREN was rude and should find work somewhere else if she does not like customer service. Surely, there is a warmer. If my food came out and I was not there to pick it up then it should have been placed in the warmer. I wouldn't recommend this place to my dog. SERVICE SUCKS! read more
