Here is the review in high detail. Service/Location: The girls are fun to look at, but you quickly realize that they have a fatigue. Smiles vanish once they turn their back to the 5 drunk guys. I can't blame the waitresses though. As you might imagine after so many drunk guys the toilets are not clean at all. Our waitress was friendly, though clearly didn't care and never asked if everything's alright. Atmosphere: I LOVE the music. All the songs were grunge/hard rock/heavy metal. If that's not your taste of music then it's a 1-Star review for your. The place was crowded and very, VERY loud. There was a group of 6 drunk guys watching a football game and shouting all the time. Came here last night with a couple of friends to watch the heat game. I've never really came here to dine and drink during a heat game so it was a first experience.. don't get me wrong I've been here before but not for this occasion. This place wasn't packed at all which was incredible, well it sorta of was anyways the service was whatever the the hooters girl took forever to bring our drinks, plus she would forget to ring in the items, her friends were sitting behind us so she would also go and sit and chat with them while we waited for our drinks which really wasnt professional. I mean i understand they're your friends but at the time same time make sure you're focusing on your job to you know. She was a nice girl though, the food we only ordered onion rings and shrimp they both tasted pretty good, greasy but it was alright. Been going to this location out of convenience for years. They have been steadily spiraling down hill. My most resent visit the waitresses were all too busy talking with friends that arrived rather than taking care of the patrons. It was a romper room (including pink football tossing). CS, If you check your video of 10/18/2019 between 16:30 and 17:30 you'll see what I mean. Basically had to chase the Hostess to get a drink. See what friends and I notice about this time there is the shift change which means the girls leaving don't what to start a service that will be passed along to another waitress. I couldn't believe how fun this Hooters is. The drinks were awesome and super cheap. The bartender was super sweet and quick! Outside area was very nice and it had a nice breeze being that they had placed the awnings mid way down so as to see "the sunset" but also feel the breeze. I really enjoyed myself. How the heck to do you screw up wings? Well you guessed it, they found away. The sauce was not Hooters sauce and the fry oil must have been a month old. Worst wings I've had. Refills were almost impossible to get and my group wanted to order additional items but the waitress never came back except with the bill. This is where it gets comical. They actually show a recommended 15-22% tip amount on the bill and the waitress actually circled it and wrote tip not included on the bill. Wednesday night and there is a Heat game I expected them to be packed but the lady in the front said The wait time should be 45 minutes, she told me about 3 times that people weren't going to get up because of the heat game insisting for me and my girlfriend to not even get on the waitlist. So my boyfriend and I we're really looking forward to Hooters since the since Wednesday of this week. We couldn't wait to get there and have a great time because we've been apart working in different cities. We finally got together and went to the Doral Hooters on a Friday night. We got seated quickly and then our server came to take our order for drinks I ordered a rum and coke and my boyfriend ordered an IPA. The server came back with my rum and coke but said that the IPA was not available then my boyfriend decided to try another craft beer she then came back and said that was not available this happened two more times. it turned out that on a Friday night they were out of most of their beers. A manager came and apologized and asked if we wanted to try a Dos Equis. My boyfriend said yes but again they didn't have that neither. We're starting to get frustrated so he just ordered what I was having. A Captain Morgan and Coke. we then proceeded to order some food and after that we waited about 30 minutes to get our food. At this point we are very disappointed but we still we're hopeful that our waitress would come by and check in on us however after 25 minutes she still had not and she was no where to be found then we asked another server to speak to one of their managers a man by the name of Oscar came by and we expressed our displeasure to him. He responded with "Oh OK" and nothing else more. this really made us unhappy and we were contemplating on leaving before even getting food. About five minutes later our boneless wings came and then we still had to ask for the chrese fries that we had ordered... then about 5 minutes later they came. We tasted the food and it was absolutely delicious we were still very upset about the service and how we retreated however the food was really great. So we give 0 Stars for the service and negative stars for the manager, Oscar. The only good thing about the Doral Hooter's experience was the food which is why we gave them 2 stars. Went to have lunch with my family of 15 on 10/22/22. Our waitress name was "autumn". She gave us the worst customer service ever! Super rude , non friendly. We had a total of 3 tables right next to each other, she took our first tables food & order drinks then skipped the other two tables and went on to take the order of a whole different group of customers. When we told her she skipped half the order she didn't apologize and rudely took the rest of the order. We received our order of mozzarella sticks which usually come in a order of 6 but for some reason our particular order only came with 4. When we questioned her about the quantity she said she would bring us some more mozzarella sticks. After about 20 mins of waiting for them we asked again for them and she responded with an attitude that "in order to bring them to us they needed to be cooked". We received the mozzarella sticks 5 mins after she said that & they were COLD!!! So much for them being "cooked" that they weren't even warm!! COLD MOZZARELLA STICKS! we didn't complain or have them re make it. She was just awful and careless with the attitude. She had another waitress switch with her so she would've have to tend our table. (Which the other waitress was very respectful, attentive & nice.) To top it off 5/15 of us are suffering stomach cramps and diarrhea. Never coming to this location again! read more

I'm giving a one-star review because of a lack of safety concern I saw when I went to pick up an order of wings last night. My experience with the Hooters staff has been overall good, and this review is not directed at them. Any protocol guidelines are non-existent. It's not fair or right to put work staff and customers in danger. And yes, I blame customers for not treating the pandemic seriously, but hooters have to enforce real safety precautions. Hello, I went into your establishment and had the most horrible experience ever in any restaurant. I went with a couple and sat at bar, all was good and dandy, at first. I went to restroom and my friend ordered a pitcher of beer and a mojito for me, beer came out quick and with no problem, but the mojito was nowhere in sight. My friend asked a different waitress, "I ordered mojito, but they have seem to have forgotten" she tells bartender assigned about drink, then she makes it, with a not so happy face. Our waitress Yaya, seems to be upset but makes mojito and licks bottom of straw to see if it's good, I'm watching her thinking why? We have pitcher of beer and mojito, and now order wings, fries, and onion rings, onion rings come out first and are brought out by manager, but are cold. We send them back, and they come back out saying no more onion rings left we just dropped them back in, we say no problem. Wings come out, but never fries. I ask for manager not knowing that the person who brought onion rings initially, was one in the same. We then ask for another round waitress says I get you a beer, but that's it, no mojito, by this time I'm like saying why? The waitress say's I'm not getting her (me) a drink because, she is drunk. I am baffled like why, manager comes out again and says to my friend, you had to much to drink-im thinking so how that effects me. As a successful franchise I understand, you need to cut people off at times, but none of us were intoxicated. The honest truth was waitress was upset because we asked for manager, the gentlemans next to us say "were more intoxicated then you guys" but waitress didn't seem to have a problem with them. I know nothing will probably come out if this, and it probably doesn't mean much to a multibilion franchise, but this location set a new standard today. First time visiting this location, even though I have lived in Doral since 2004. I used to be a huge fan of Hooters until the food quality degraded to the point it was simply an insult to spend money at this place. However over the last few years food quality has improved and so here we are visiting this location on a business meeting. The good: Great location with plenty of parking. The bad: Everything besides the parking & location. My review will be primarily on the service. We stopped by around 3pm on a Tuesday, so the place was not busy at all. My friend and I decided to sit outside near the bar. After 10 minutes, we were approached by the bartender (Giovanna). It was noticeable she was not happy at all, didn't even say hello or smile. I didn't think much of it, I pay my way through college working at many restaurants, bakeries and pizza restaurants. So I get it, you are not always on your A game, sometimes hard to shake up personal problems in life. We have to call Giovanna when ordering anything, our table was never approached, not once, her facial expressions with every order was beyond any reasonable explanation. However, I decided to observe the dynamics of this place, surprisingly enough, Giovanna managed to smile, be attentive, friendly and even engaging with 5 to 8 guys seating at the bar..I couldn't figure out what was going on until it finally hit me, REGULARS. The regulars at this place are treated fine, receiving the proper service, even getting a hug, smiles and better yet; drinks and food served without a problem. Other tables, clearly not REGULARS were experiencing the same substandard service we did. The table behind me was complaining about the same issue. My friend and I are nothing especial, although we are both very successful at what we do, we are simply customers expecting service, that's all. The management team needs to be aware this behavior by a staff member is unacceptable. The core business will suffer should this issue continue. Enough of that. Final assessment: We ordered food and while the food quality has improved, the required customer service to make this an enjoyable meal was certainly missing. I ordered wings with fries and my friend ordered breaded shrimps. The fries failed to arrive and his shrimps arrived cold & with no sauce. Again, trying to get service from the bartender was a difficult task and when we got the items 5 minutes later, it was with an attitude. The ambience and decor was good, typical Hooters. The bathrooms and common areas kept clean. In closing; we got the bill & pay with two cards, when Giovanna returned with the processed bill, she simply placed the bill on the table and without even saying thank you, she returned to the bar. I then forced my friend to do what I have never done in my life, pay and ensure not to leave tip. I normally leave at least 10% tip even when receiving bad service, but this substandard service & behavior didn't deserve my hard earned dollars. Manager should have come by and said something. He didn't. That's why I felt compelled to write a review. I must say that the waitress who is serving me, Raquel, is as sweet as can be. The only thing this place has going for it is their specials on Wednesday for $5.99 boneless which is now $6.99. I absolutely HATE the service I receive when I come to this place. I rather drive an extra 20 minutes than deal with women who think their job is to just stand there and look pretty, because although its a qualification, they are still a waitress. Attitude galore, less than happy mentality, and managers that sit their and gawk at the girls all day is not what I want when I go out. Not to mention the host will see some people walking towards the door and close it in their face. RUDE? sure. The Hooters on coral way has MUCH better service and guys: the girls are still as pretty. It's Hooters. You come here to watch a game with the guys or girls if they don't mind the whole skimpy outfit thing. I'm actually surprised the food is good. The chefs here actually put in some pride into what they do. I commend them on that. Prices are cheap and they always hold some type of event here which is nice.
