I'm honestly not sure how this place has such high ratings. When we arrived, it felt unusually empty, I assumed it was just because of the Memorial Day. Things got off to a terrible start with a waiter who was beyond rude. I was ready to walk out, but the manager came over. I told him straight up: if we don't receive a different server, we're leaving. Tbh I really wish we had just left. The manager seemed to laugh it off, but to me, it felt like he was laughing because he knew that older gentleman had no business serving tables. Thankfully, we were assigned a new waiter who completely turned the experience around. He was excellent and made the rest of our visit much more pleasant. As for the food, it was average at best. Will I ever return? Absolutely not. To top it off, the ceiling was leaking directly onto our table. The manager was well aware of it but clearly did not care. Honestly, the health department should be notified.

Meh. Stopped here after some local shopping because it looks good and we've been to the Huntington Beach Ca location which we enjoyed very much. This afternoon- not so much. The ambiance the decor are the same, the beautiful Argentinian styled rustic and elegant look is very nice. The seats are always comfortable especially by the bar. But that's kind of as far as it goes. We ordered the beef sliders, and the lamb lollipops. The beef sliders tasted good, just not a lot of meat and a little fatty on what was there. Solid no on the lamb lollipops. Overcooked on the inside, zero char on the outside and pretty salty. The drinks were okay, we had to wait a long time for them though which isn't really the bartender's fault, he was bartending for the whole restaurant but it's Sunday at 4:30 the day before Labor Day and there's hardly anybody here- seriously. Another problem that I had with my drink was that I couldn't finish it because it was not strained and I kept getting all the fruit stuck up in my little straw. I didn't want to bother the bartender for another one because I probably wouldn't have gotten it for a while. Probably wouldn't go to this location again, however the little cheesy puff breads they have... that might change my mind!

I'm a huge Fogo de Chão fan, and how can you blame me? Happy hour all day? That's amazing! And not only does their happy hour include drinks, it includes food, which you know is not typical. So a place that has happy hour with food on the menu and the happy hour is all day every day? Yeah, this is where you will find me. I'm a big fan of a Coral Gables location as that's the only one that we had here, but this Kendall location right across Dadeland Mall is fantastic. The decor and ambiance is warm and inviting, the bar area is way bigger! I appreciate that. And the service is on point. I sat at the bar which is typically what I do, and we were treated like royalty. There was not a second that went by that we were not asked if we were okay or if we needed a refill. If you ever come here and go to the bar, please ask for a flavio, stephanie, or Alejandro! They have two different wines on happy hour, they have a red blend that I'm all back. I have had both and they are delicious. They're spiced chicken sliders are incredible. They are very generous with the amount of chicken that they put in there and it's three per serving. And they have a $10 Picahna Burger which is incredible. It comes with crispy polenta fries and my friend loved it! I met Christian tonight who was the one who was in charge of training the staff here and I had to congratulate him! Seriously unbelievable service! Do not hesitate to come here. You won't regret it! Whether you have the full dinner or you just come for bar bites and drinks, you will not be disappointed

Another positive note about the happy hour is that you can have it anywhere in the restaurant, not just in the bar area.

From the moment we sat down, the guy looked annoyed that we were there. Zero greeting, zero eye contact. We waited almost 10 minutes just to get acknowledged while he was chatting with another customers at the other end of the bar. When he finally took our order, he barely listened. I asked for a classic Old Fashioned and he brought me something that tasted like watered-down whiskey with too much bitters and a random orange slice thrown in. My friend's whiskey sour was unbalanced -- definitely not worth the $18 price tag. I politely mentioned to recommend us another drinks options he just shrugged and said "we don't have that" Not offer another choice or an apology. The drinks were mediocre at best, but his attitude made it worse. He ignored us most of the night and acted annoyed every time we ordered. Zero professionalism. The place has a great vibe but with service like this, is not worth to spend almost $200 dollars there for few drinks. I don't remember his name but he was tall, Latin and maybe from Colombia. We just wanted to report his behavior to management but in a Saturday's night you just don't want to ruined more. Next.

So, let's get into it: I don't know about you, but the one thing I do not enjoy doing is driving and circling around, being lost, just to find an establishment. So, I love that this restaurant is so easy to find with good signage, lots of nearby parking, both street and lots. Anywho, once I parked, the manager Judd was so friendly and kind and directed me to the table where my friend was seated. He overheard that I was kind of speaking loud over the music when I barely had a voice due to losing it from another event, so he kindly turned down the music for us. Once there, service was quick and attentive. I got a Fresh Paloma for my drink and the Seared Salmon for dinner. The drink was a good size and tasted good, no complaints there. As for the dinner, WOW. This was delicious, I would get this again. The flavors were there and the portions were just perfect (not too much and not too little, I usually never get enough or leave with leftovers). Also, not overpriced for Miami in my opinion. Aside from that, I did try some of my friend's off-menu pasta and it was really yummy. Furthermore, they have great weekly specials: (Note, subject to change. Everything was phenomenal, and our server, Catty, was wonderful. The crudo, croquettes, and beef tartare were absolute standouts--wow. The porterhouse was cooked to perfection, and every single side was incredible. You have to try the French onion mashed potatoes and the Brussels sprouts. We somehow still made room for dessert, and it was amazing too, even though we were sooo full. We had plenty of leftovers to take home! From the food to the service, everything was exceptional. Definitely Michelin-worthy in my opinion. Can't wait to come back!

Food- 4 Service- 1…read more Atmosphere- 5 My friends and I came here for lunch. We decided to try the Miami Spice menu. We had a reservation for 1pm. We were sat immediately and they had a printed sign with our name on it on our table. That was a nice touch. The service was VERY slow! We waited at least 10 minutes before the waiter (Danny/Daniel) ever came over to offer us water. Another 20 minutes later and we still hadn't ordered our food. My friend's iced tea still hadn't arrived. I had to go to the hostess stand and tell them that we'd been there for half an hour and hadn't even ordered yet. We never even saw our waiter during that time. Eventually a manager came over and took our order. I ordered the Hamachi Crudo as my appetizer and the salmon as my entree, and the blueberry lemon cheesecake for my dessert. My friend ordered the same thing, except the cookie as her dessert. My other friend ordered the Cesar salad as her appetizer and the Beauty chicken sando as her entree. The Hamachi was absolutely delicious (but incredibly small). The Cesar salad was HUGE! It was almost 2:30 by the time we got our entrees (1.5 hours after arriving). Our salmons were barely warm, meaning that they had been ready for a while, but they had been left sitting in the kitchen. We had arrived pretty hungry, and since our appetizer was only 3-4 bites, and it'd already been an hour and a half, we weren't about to send our food back to be heated up. The salmon, although not hot, was good. I liked the sauce it came in. It was a little over cooked on the outside. But, overall and well made, tasty dish. My friend liked her chicken sandwich. It came with about 2-4 big "fries". Upon using the ladies room, I discovered that the hand dryer was not working. It was 3pm (2 hours later) when we received our desserts. We had to add more time to the parking meter. The waiter informed us that he couldn't offer us any coffee as the machine was being serviced. The restaurant looks nice. The chairs are comfortable. It's nicely decorated. The music was great- mostly 80's music. All in all, we were pretty disappointed in our experience. As a Michelin Guide restaurant, we expected more. Better/faster service, for sure! A working coffee machine. Hot food. I'm glad I came for Miami Spice. I probably won't be returning. If I do return I'll ask for a different waiter.
