    Fatty looking little beef sliders.

Meh. Stopped here after some local shopping because it looks good and we've been to the Huntington Beach Ca location which we enjoyed very much. This afternoon- not so much. The ambiance the decor are the same, the beautiful Argentinian styled rustic and elegant look is very nice. The seats are always comfortable especially by the bar. But that's kind of as far as it goes. We ordered the beef sliders, and the lamb lollipops. The beef sliders tasted good, just not a lot of meat and a little fatty on what was there. Solid no on the lamb lollipops. Overcooked on the inside, zero char on the outside and pretty salty. The drinks were okay, we had to wait a long time for them though which isn't really the bartender's fault, he was bartending for the whole restaurant but it's Sunday at 4:30 the day before Labor Day and there's hardly anybody here- seriously. Another problem that I had with my drink was that I couldn't finish it because it was not strained and I kept getting all the fruit stuck up in my little straw. I didn't want to bother the bartender for another one because I probably wouldn't have gotten it for a while. Probably wouldn't go to this location again, however the little cheesy puff breads they have... that might change my mind!

I'm a huge Fogo de Chão fan, and how can you blame me? Happy hour all day? That's amazing! And not only does their happy hour include drinks, it includes food, which you know is not typical. So a place that has happy hour with food on the menu and the happy hour is all day every day? Yeah, this is where you will find me. I'm a big fan of a Coral Gables location as that's the only one that we had here, but this Kendall location right across Dadeland Mall is fantastic. The decor and ambiance is warm and inviting, the bar area is way bigger! I appreciate that. And the service is on point. I sat at the bar which is typically what I do, and we were treated like royalty. There was not a second that went by that we were not asked if we were okay or if we needed a refill. If you ever come here and go to the bar, please ask for a flavio, stephanie, or Alejandro! They have two different wines on happy hour, they have a red blend that I'm all back. I have had both and they are delicious. They're spiced chicken sliders are incredible. They are very generous with the amount of chicken that they put in there and it's three per serving. And they have a $10 Picahna Burger which is incredible. It comes with crispy polenta fries and my friend loved it! I met Christian tonight who was the one who was in charge of training the staff here and I had to congratulate him! Seriously unbelievable service! Do not hesitate to come here. You won't regret it! Whether you have the full dinner or you just come for bar bites and drinks, you will not be disappointed

Was there the 1st night it opened. Sat at the bar. Drinks, food and service were very good. Beautiful inside, it's the old Chili's.

Another positive note about the happy hour is that you can have it anywhere in the restaurant, not just in the bar area.

Somehow it's the same but better (a pool table!!). It's roomier but still intimate. And then, of course, the awesome dark David Lynch vibe is not only back, but even more atmospheric. If you're looking to grab a bite instead of a drink, their French Dip is still great, but the fries now are better than old Fox's. The service has always been solid, and this visit was no different. Still a killer date spot too. Fox's 2.0 just takes a classic and elevates it to where it needs to be.

From the moment we sat down, the guy looked annoyed that we were there. Zero greeting, zero eye contact. We waited almost 10 minutes just to get acknowledged while he was chatting with another customers at the other end of the bar. When he finally took our order, he barely listened. I asked for a classic Old Fashioned and he brought me something that tasted like watered-down whiskey with too much bitters and a random orange slice thrown in. My friend's whiskey sour was unbalanced -- definitely not worth the $18 price tag. I politely mentioned to recommend us another drinks options he just shrugged and said "we don't have that" Not offer another choice or an apology. The drinks were mediocre at best, but his attitude made it worse. He ignored us most of the night and acted annoyed every time we ordered. Zero professionalism. The place has a great vibe but with service like this, is not worth to spend almost $200 dollars there for few drinks. I don't remember his name but he was tall, Latin and maybe from Colombia. We just wanted to report his behavior to management but in a Saturday's night you just don't want to ruined more. Next.

So, let's get into it: I don't know about you, but the one thing I do not enjoy doing is driving and circling around, being lost, just to find an establishment. So, I love that this restaurant is so easy to find with good signage, lots of nearby parking, both street and lots. Anywho, once I parked, the manager Judd was so friendly and kind and directed me to the table where my friend was seated. He overheard that I was kind of speaking loud over the music when I barely had a voice due to losing it from another event, so he kindly turned down the music for us. Once there, service was quick and attentive. I got a Fresh Paloma for my drink and the Seared Salmon for dinner. The drink was a good size and tasted good, no complaints there. As for the dinner, WOW. This was delicious, I would get this again. The flavors were there and the portions were just perfect (not too much and not too little, I usually never get enough or leave with leftovers). Also, not overpriced for Miami in my opinion. Aside from that, I did try some of my friend's off-menu pasta and it was really yummy. Furthermore, they have great weekly specials: (Note, subject to change. Please check Instagram or call for Current Week): Tuesday: Burgers and Bottles, $10 Burgers and Half off Select Bottles of Wine Wednesday: Double Loyalty Points and Fire, Flour & Fizz ($12 Pizzas, $12 Aperol Spritz, $7 Prosecco, 5pm-close) Thursday Ladies Night: Complimentary Bubbly for Ladies 4pm-7pm Sunday: 10am-4pm Bloody Mary Bar Go check it out, I don't think you'll regret it. The lighting, music, and overall ambiance created a relaxed setting where conversation flowed easily. The drinks were excellent, crafted with care and full of flavor. The food was also surprisingly good and paired perfectly with the drinks, making it more than just a place to grab a cocktail. What really completed the experience was the great service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of throughout our visit. Their hospitality helped create a welcoming environment that made us want to stay longer. Overall, Thorn is a fantastic spot for a night out with friends, a casual date night, or simply enjoying quality cocktails in a comfortable setting. First entree came out in 10 minutes. 5-10 minutes later the second entree came (it was toasted bagels with their accompaniments on a tower... so like the easiest item ever). After waiting about 50 minutes total our final entree arrived... a breakfast pizza. So I guess don't go here if you intend to eat together? Or want hot food. No communication except at the 30 minute mark of waiting a random person came to tell us that the pizza was working. Our server abandoned us, so we never got a second round while waiting almost an hour for our food. She apparently was too busy taking the second table to walk in. No one apologized for the wait on food. None of what we ordered tasted good. I guess with cold food that's hard to judge though. My avocado toast had a full field of micro greens that covered up any other flavor it might have had. I'm sure the crowd of middle aged dinners appreciated the DJ though. Cuz this is Miami and that's how things are done. Slow, inconsiderate, and loud.

We ordered the T-bone and the Korean BBQ steak. Both were fantastic. The T-bone was cooked perfectly medium and was incredibly juicy. The Korean BBQ steak felt like the riskier choice, but it paid off. It had fantastic flavor, with a little bit of a kick, and was a nice leaner option. The surprise star of the meal was the Brussels sprouts. These are hands down some of the best I've had at a restaurant. The combination of savory ham, sweet jam, and tangy blue cheese sauce worked beautifully. If you're a blue cheese fan, do not skip this one! For dessert, we shared the Beauty Cake. It was rich without being overly sweet, which I appreciated. The hazelnut crunch and scoop of ice cream on the side took it to another level. And of course, you can't leave without trying one of their cookies. Consider it mandatory. Service was excellent throughout the evening. Our waiter checked in regularly, offered great recommendations, and helped make the celebration feel special. We had great seats near the bar, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the overall vibe was lively without being overwhelming. My only minor let-down was the condition of the bathrooms. It was a busy night, so I understand they were getting a lot of traffic, but they could have used a quick check-in and cleaning during service. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with great food, attentive service, and a fun atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back and working my way through more of the menu.
