Can you believe I never been to Hooters ? Well this changed earlier this month, when I explored the Canadian side of the falls on a rainy Saturday . Server was cute and friendly, ordered a round of drinks to start (a Jack Daniels cocktail in a can for me and a Labatt for my dad ) . I ordered their famous breaded wings (honey garlic style ) and my dad ordered a Buffalo chicken salad . Food prices were fair , portions decent and food, although not ground breaking , was tasty . I would select a different sauce for their wings next time - these ones were a bit too sticky . Dad really liked his salad and commented on liking the atmosphere - I bet! (Lol ) I would come back - I wish they had a magnet in their souvenir shop but sadly , they didn't .

Super pricey! This area is like 'The Vegas strip' of Niagara Falls. Visited on Monday for their unlimited wings special. Ended up just getting 20 wings. Took a while to get acknowledged after we were seated but our server eventually came and she was nice. Our food arrived quickly. My biggest complaint is that celery and sauce is extra. Not sure if this is a Canada thing or if it's just this particular location-but i was slightly annoyed at that. The girls working here look like High school age and while we were waiting to have someone take our order-they were standing around and chatting and laughing. Wings arrived-some were warm and some cold-like it was two orders mixed. Tried their Canadian beer-not bad. Hooters is great-wouldn't recommend this location though

Stopped by to get some drinks and light meal. As far as I could tell, it was self seating, until it got busy. We ordered our drinks and also got the following items: - 10 wings hot - fried pickles - calamari Fried Pickles - I didn't realize they offered options for this dish like wings.... because they were naked fried pickles lol... they had no coating on them, it looked like they were just deep fried and off it went. I just hope it was a mistake on this day, but if this is their norm, then yeah, don't order it. Calamari - this was actually good... the product they served was a lot different than what was pictured in their menu, but it was perfectly fried, had good crisp to it and definitely went great with the beer. Wings - now, I don't know if this is a Canadian thing or what... but they served the thinnest wings I've ever seen in my life. I mean, I get that inflation is affecting the material costs, but they need to import in some FAT USA WINGS!! When I order hot, I expect hot and not mild sauce. Then we ordered Shrimp with hot sauce and they served it with mild... maybe Canadian version of hot is equivalent to mild from the states?? Avoid the celery, they been sitting around too long... they should have thrown them out, but it was served anyways. As for food - it could be better, replace the celery with fresh one and use the right sauces. Food was decent, the place was decent, while the service started slow, it got better. Also, I just want to know - why aren't beers served chilling cold in Canada???

This takeout combo is the best bang for your buck in the Niagara area if you love wings! $35 + tax for 40 wings, fries and coleslaw! Considering everything around the area is $40 for an entree plate, this was an amazing deal! The Daytona beach wings were our fave and wish we got all 40 in it instead! It's a sweet bbq flavour that I cant get tired of. Subtracting a star only because service was questionable. Everyone was really nice but the service was slow and a lot of the servers were just standing around as I saw our order sitting at the window for almost 8-10 minutes after waiting 30-40 minutes for the order

I rarely give 1 stars but my experience at the establishment was absolutely disappointing. I went to Hooters as their patio looked empty and we were completely starved and everywhere else looked packed so we decided to give it a try as we heard they had good wings. The patio was empty but it took 20-30 minutes for us to get our table as there were only 2 waitresses working but there were 2 separate patios. For such a big patio, you would assume there to be more staff. Food: Tater tots- pretty good. Taste like the ones you get from a frozen package at Walmart. None the less, it was good. Salad- i ordered the salad with no cheese but it came with cheese. I thought shredded Monterey Jack was an odd choice to put on a salad as well. The leafs were brown and soggy and had a weird taste tp it. It was definitely an old salad mix. Wings: the biggest disappointment. The wings looked good but it was completely HARD. Half of it was cold and the other half was frozen. I'm never someone to send food back and would eat it regardless but it was entirely inedible. The sauce had a weird taste to it as well. Service: The waitress was really nice though we never see her much at all. She took around 20 minutes to give us our menu and another 20 for our orders. I also stated no cheese for my salad but it came with cheese. She never quality checked our food and therefore, we didn't even want to change it or anything. Our food also took like 30 minutes to come. We had to go inside to get the waitress to tell her our issue and she was eating at a table. That's completely fine to eat but if you're on the clock, please take care of your tables. She was nice enough to take the wings off the bill but everything else came to be around 25 dollars. Overall Would NOT recommend. If you're in the Niagara Falls area, i suggest you to drive up to Niagara on the lake for quality food. Everything on the main strip just seems touristy and a money grab. 1/10

What the hell is this supposed to be? It's really sad that they charge $15 for a quesadilla and cant even make a salsa to go with it!

This is by far the worst Hooters we have visited. The girls are busy ..."working" on a dead night that they dont notice when people walk in? We ordered at the bar and inquired about the 20 piece. We usually get 2 sauces but apparently here you have to order 2 separate 10pc to do that. Ridiculous. Then, when we receive our order, there's one blue cheese for a 20pc! We had to pay for another. Again, ridiculous. When we returned to the hotel we realized the wings were dry. We ordered the regular Hooters hot wings and it tasted like oil. It was disgusting. We also ordered a steak quesadilla and it was absolutely pathetic! (See photos). It was as thin as a tortilla chip and the "salsa" was a sad tub of chopped onion and sloppy chopped tomato with a twig of cilantro. We will never support this establishment again. The service was horrible and the food was worse. Absolutely disgusted.

The food was good, but the girls were better. In all seriousness, the wings were great - 5/5. The fish and chips left a lot to be desired. The batter was extremely heavy and 'bready' - 2/5. The girls - 5/5

Quality is always there. I have missed the wings from this establishment after the location in Brampton closed down and it did not disappoint. As always the wings are lightly breaded, crisp and flavorful. The curly fries are still amazing. In all a pleasant experience and certainly will be a repeat order. Price point is also impressive, at $45 with taxes and delivery tip for 40 wings, large order of curly fries, coleslaw, blue cheese dip and additional honey garlic sauce it's definitely worth it, especially in Niagara Falls.

I got it decompressed as I have dietary restrictions. Unfortunately the ingredients didn't seem fresh. Mango mushy, green onions brown, cucumbers dried up, carrots brown. We wanted refills on our beverages, but server was busy. By the time drinks were refilled and another pint was brought, we were done with our food. We still managed to tip the server. We were really hungry and disappointed with their food as we picked this place out of many since their Google reviews seemed high. They offered to remake our meals but we had to go.

To me, the Madison seems like a fraternity/warehouse party house and not the interesting multi-level mansion that it used to be. To get into the building we had to pass through a passage or hallway (partly outdoors) in which a person--who seemed like a waitress--was smoking. When we left the bar, several people were smoking there and we had to pass through a fug in order to exit. As soon as I sat down on the patio, I smelled cigarettes. The smell persisted; when we changed seats to a different area of the patio, I noticed a young woman smoking in her seat. I finally told the waiter it was illegal and unpleasant and he agreed to do something. She was smoking so blatantly; I haven't seen that in years. Why I had to mention it, I don't know. My friends invited us to the Madison because their website advertised a deal on food and drink on the first Thursday of the month, and my friends are thrifty. When I arrived, some of the group were angry because they had been denied the deal although it was Thursday June 4. I spoke to the manager and showed her the offer on the Madison website. After a lengthy wait--she said she had to speak to someone higher up first--we were allowed the deal. The two most hangry people of the group left for another restaurant before we learned that the deal would be honoured. We proceeded to order some fine Amsterdam draft and snacks as per the deal. The beer, fish & chips, and quesadillas were all very good. However, because of the kerfuffle over the discount, the beer took at least 20 minutes to arrive AFTER they agreed to honour the deal: the Tap on the patio wasn't working. The food came when we were about half-done our pints; at this point, we were at least 45 minutes in the bar (which was not very busy). The music was blaring loud; we had to yell at each other to communicate. So I led the group over to another area of the patio without telling the waiter (he had been hard to find already, but I was fed up with the yelling and sitting at a picnic table, so we just moved). I guess that offended him because he gave me a heck of a glare; I gave him the same look back because I don't need that on a night out. A few minutes after moving, our group had a good laugh because it seemed that the music had been turned up louder in the new area; we had to talk very loudly to be heard over a group of students beside us and the music. We had repeatedly told the waiter that it was too loud and surprise!, the volume goes up! This may have made sense when I was young--hollering HOW ARE YOU at my friends in bars. The waiter seemed moody, so a friendly gal in our group asked him if he didn't like us, and another of our group asked for the waiter's name and introduced himself. The waiter then seemed to realize that we weren't just complaining irritants. Although I noticed an older man who appeared to be an academic and an affluent boomer couple from the neighbourhood, this seems to be a party place, like a warehouse bar. Loud, long waits for the beer, moody staff and false advertising. If I want to get wasted and blow $10 per draft beer, I'll be back.

So when I found myself on a recent Tuesday afternoon, I figured I'd better finally stop in. I showed up around 4:30 and the bar was already pretty packed, but luckily for me a couple of people were just leaving and freeing up a spot at the end. Score! I wound up taking advantage of the Happy Hour and grabbing a pint of a very tasty lager. I figured I should probably also have a bite, so I decided to go with the very affordable Taco ("cabbage, chipotle aioli, cilantro, onion, lime") and I got the Marinated Steak option. It's a decent taco. The chipotle aioli is quite tasty and zesty, and the other components, including a very fresh-tasting tortilla, are just as good. The meat was a little questionable, however, as it had a vaguely unpleasant flavor I couldn't quite put my finger on. Still, it was a cheap snack that I ate quite quickly. I can definitely see why the Wheat Sheaf Tavern has been around so long. The vibe was very welcoming and the bartender was super nice. I'll definitely return.
