An omelette as per the Blue Star restaurant.

Nice vibe, but not at ALL impressed with the food. Dry, cold toast, and a fried egg folded in half with two strips of unmelted plastic American cheese on it is NOT an omelette. Shame on you for presenting this omelette that a three year old could have made, for which you charged a fee. The jelly packs were the only warm items on the plate.

+ great service, good food, reasonable prices - decor is dated Went here yesterday with my mother as we were taking her out for her birthday. There was four of us. I made a reservation for 6:00 for a booth, but upon our arrival, there were no booths. I guess they forgot about us needing one. There's lots of seating in this place and we sat at one of the middle tables close to the wall. The decor is showing its age and is in need for a refresh, some of the chairs were pretty worn. Our waitress was very friendly, and she gave some good advice on the menu items and we were happy to hear they were super flexible when it came to the side dishes. Prices are very reasonable, a lot of them under $12. We ordered fish and chips (haddock) and the Broasted chicken with mashed. The entrees even came with a choice of soup or salad. We ordered the Caesar which was made up perfectly and the garden salad. I had the house made vinaigrette dressing and it was really good. The entrees came out within 30 minutes and tasted perfectly. The chicken breast was cooked well. I like how there isn't a lot of breading on it. The mashed potatoes and gravy were really good as well. My mother had the coconut cream pie (on the house for her birthday) and she said it was wonderful. Pieces of pie are only $3, very reasonable. I like how everything is homemade here and the staff are friendly. We'll definitely be back to try out more of their menu items.

I cannot believe the size of these wings, $30.99 for 30

Food is always cold. I stopped going here years ago. It's a shame because at one point is was very popular with my family.

It took forever to get our food, and then when we finally got it, the rice tasted like a plastic Tupperware bin. Disgusting.

Service from the bartender was great. He offered up some suggestions, which I needed because they have a large menu loaded with so many appetizing and amazing looking options. I started with their potstickers... They came out with a hard, fried shell and the dipping sauce went nicely with them. Enough to share, or even enough to enjoy and still have room for an entrée. My main dish was their Chicken & Waffle. This isn't some ordinary chicken and waffle, it's definitely an amped up version, made with unique and interesting ingredients, culminating in great flavors! The chicken was so large and very tender - it was amazing! The bacon and sauce on top went with it nicely, and the chive waffle was great with it! Each bite was definitely amazing! This was a great experience, I can see why they have so many reviews and such high stars, those are well-deserved stars!! Definitely recommend stopping in here!

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which made it even more enjoyable. I ordered fried calamari along with single chicken wings tossed in an Asian sweet and spicy sauce--both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The combination of crispy textures and bold flavors really stood out. What made the experience even better was the service. Our server was amazing--attentive, friendly, and truly great at her job. She made us feel welcome from the start. I always enjoy trying new places, and this visit did not disappoint. If you're looking for an American restaurant near Niagara Falls, this is definitely worth trying. We ended the meal with a delicious dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish to a great experience.

Fabulous first time experience at Fairbanks last Friday night for dinner! Upscale and sophisticated…read moreyet warm and inviting atmosphere. We were greeted by the host who led us to our table in the corner of the dining room. We had a perfect view of the dining room, bar, and kitchen who all looked like they were a great team back there. I love a small menu - you know everything is delicious! Our drinks consisted of: Winter Old Fashioned, Tom & Jerry, Dirty Martini's, espresso martini & the Flip. All were so so good. I was told the Flip was a custom creation by the bartender - was by far my favorite drink (and possibly favorite part of dessert)! Then onto the food... to start: house rolls were a must (we got the chicken liver mousse too but I liked the shallot butter more), and the bluefin tuna crudo and cured ora king salmon were all fantastic, exploding with flavor! For our entrees we did the pork rib chop and the elysian fields lamb saddle. Both delicious! The lamb was so good, however I think the chicory salad was a little too bitter for me. And for dessert we went with the Honey & chocolate, and the Financier (I think that's what they were called). It's like the courses just kept getting better and better.

Such a great evening on my birthday!…read more Only thing was drinks were slow. Like really slow, but our server knew it and made up for it. They're new. I'm sure they'll work it out. However, the drinks were totally different in a great way! Not your average drinks. Very creative. Loved, loved the cucumber dish and the spicey perfect crudo. We didnt order the salmon but recieved it anyway and we were so glad bc it was one of favorites. It was silky salmon on an umami bomb of a sauce. I would say the least successful dish was the white fish (was is halibut or sea bass?!). It was in a curry sauce that was a bit muddled. It was still good but after the bright, fun, summery, perfect crudo, cucumbers and salmon, the curry was just too bland. Loved the service and the atmosphere.
