Went to lunch here on a Friday, and it wasn't too busy around 11:40. It started to pick up by the time my party was done and ready to cash out. Unfortunately, this meant it took a while to get our waitress' attention to get a box and the check. Service otherwise was friendly, our order was right, and the food was good! My Texas melt/burger was on the heavy side and probably contained a stick of butter, but it tasted great. My main complaint is that the seating at the booths is REALLY cramped. We walked in and the two girls there were extremely unfriendly and not looking in the best condition. Our server was a middle aged man on salary. He did very good on getting our orders right and explained no night shift girls showed up and that the remaining two were from the day. He was very quick with our food, the food was decent. I would bet my entire 401k that we did NOT receive a full lb of crab legs, but the one small claw we got was tasty. Way less sauce options than there used to be. Everything about this visit was terrible. From the eye rolling waitress to the burnt hamburger and no sauce on the buffalo slider we ordered. Our waitress had no problem interrupting us multiple times while we were discussing food options with our teenager. It was his first visit to Hooters, which turned out absolutely horrible, but once the food was delivered she never even asked how are food was or if we needed anything. I just picked up my order of 75 mild wings. Got them to the guests over for the game and the mild wings have no flavor and are mushy. They taste as if they have been sitting in flavorless oil for hours. That's not problem the problem that gicmves this a 1 is I am calling right now and have been for the past 20 minutes only to have the line disconnected with out anyone answering on option 2. If I press 1 I get someone not in the store so she transfers me and just like option 2 it rings and disconnects. We walked in with 4 waitress and a floor manager all visibly on the floor and were told to have a seat anywhere. After 15 minutes, none of the waitress left their wait station and the floor manager never checked on us or made sure to have a server come greet us. We ended up walking out right past all 5 staff without any acknowledgement. Ok confession time. I go to Hooters on Fridays with my lunch partners. I go for the wings. This is really about the last visit. As usual we walk in a waitress greets us and we immediately get seated in the back room last table on the left. This is not unusual for our group. I sat facing the wall staring at the Red Roof Inn and a TV. On the TV is an outdoor program. It was one of those programs that man sees turkey man talks man shoots turkey. This time man used a bow and arrow. Nothing like sitting watching TV and wait for your food watching a turkey get shot in slow motion over and over again. Then two others turkeys come over while the one lay dead and try to figure out what happened. I am not and never will be against hunting but watching a slow motion killing waiting for my wings was more than I could handle. So I asked and was accommodated with a channel change. Ok the wings were ordered with the 3 mile island hot sauce. 10 hot drummies naked with a side salad. $15.00 with ice tea. The TMI sauce is not as hot as one would think. I find it to be as hot as BWW hot sauce not their super hot sauce. When you order the wings naked no breading. You really get to see how small the wings they serve. BWW(Buffalo Wild Wings) wings are larger and tasty. But Hooters salad is very tasty with cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, All the veggies are chopped not whole which really adds to the salad. You get a nice combo of flavor with each bite. The servers here at this location are all your basic young girls who are all going to be doctors or lawyers and are studying very hard at the JC. This is our favorite hang out place for the family especially with their half off appetizer promo at 10pm. We love their wings, love the crunch and crispyness of the breading plus the sauces definitely compliment every bite of it. The one less star for me is on the way they charge for the extra sauce on their wings. The first one is free and we always put in on the side because my kid and wife doesn't really like the spicy habanero sauce that I want. So for a 15-20 wings one small side of sauce won't suffice. On a Saturday night, just after midnight I came in. Yes, the place was pretty barren but they were open till 1:00 am at least that's what the sign said. When I sat at the bar, the bartender acted like I was totally inconveniencing her and told me to wait while she checked if the kitchen was open. 10 mins later she came back and asked me what I wanted. I got a beer and ordered some buffalo wings and shrimp. As she cleaned up around the bar expecting to close I moved my chair back so she could sweep. She made no mind to me at all. After awhile I was brought my food in a to go bag. Now I never asked for my food to go but whatever. I take my food and go to my car and decide to eat in my car in the parking lot. Again this place was supposed to be open till 1:00 am and it's now 12:37. As soon as I walk out they lock the door and shut off the lights. As I'm eating in my car, in the parking lot, a cop pulls up and asks me what I'm doing. I'm just trying to eat my damn wings! I get the third degree from him and am told I need to leave because there's no loitering. It's not even 12:50 at this point. I was so pissed off I had to pull over on 270 just to write this and it's now 12:59. They should be closing now. Don't bother with this place! The friends that joined us waited 15ish minutes for 2 beers and 1 mixed drink. The food took so long we almost had to ask for it to go as we were going to a play. I am absolutely love the Hooters establishment I love their food! I do not have one near my home so when I was traveling and we stayed at the La Quinta Inn I was so excited that there was a Hooters next-door to our hotel! I was extremely disappointed in this place! The table that we were sat down at was dirty and sticky had not been wiped off or was wiped with a dirty rag. The menus that we were handed had food inside of them ....yuck... the buffalo shrimp that I adore was awful.....and drenched in sauce. Taylor and Diamond the manager were very rude. First, Taylor served the lady that came in behind me (Nicole) but I didn't mind. Nicole ended up speaking up saying "we not together she was here first" Taylor proceeded to walk away. Nicole repeatedly said excuse me multiple times at least 4, then Taylor got mad and said "well I'm deaf". Hearing has nothing to do with seeing who was standing at the register first. I proceeded to make light of the situation I asked Taylor "why you gotta be so mean". She then responded yelling saying that I yelled at her in which I did not. (How did you hear that?) I came back to this establishment to personally speak with a manager. Then diamond came out. I explained the situation to her and she blamed it on the fact that Taylor was deaf. I'm going to start by saying the service was good. I was seated at the bar with Serenity, and she kept the mood light. I'm going to continue by saying the food was good. While it was nothing to write home about, it was about the quality one would expect at a bar. The wait for food is what took what would up until this point be 4 stars all the way down to where I would have serious questions about coming back. I didn't have a watch handy, so I don't know how long it actually took, but my best guess is somewhere in the range of 60-90 minutes from the time I ordered to the time I finally got my food. It was in the middle of the 5th in the baseball game when I ordered and they were doing the post-game presser when it came out. This is, to say the least, unacceptable. Overall, though...
