We ordered delivery, food was not good. Kids wouldn't eat the Mac and cheese or the fries. The garden chicken salad ($10.99) only had 3 little bits of chicken on it. We also ordered 10 naked wings and asked for the sauce on the side, the wings had sauce on them and then they also put sauce in a cup. I've never eaten here before, I won't be again. This is just your average hooters. On the night I went a friend and I sat at the bar. Unfortunately, the bartender clearly favored one side of the bar and did not refill our drinks very fast. Also, when our food was ready, the cooks put it right in front of us in the bar area for the bartender to give it to us, but because she was slow in her service we ended up just staring at our food a few feet in front of us! The hot wings were great, as usual, with the garlic parmesan being OK. The service here was just lacking the night we went (around 9:30pm on April 22nd). UPDATE: The next night we had Christine at the bar, a much better bartender. One of the downsides of this particular Hooters is the kitchen is open. It makes things a little more chaotic looking. When they have to scrape grease trays out into the trash right in front of you, it makes you want to hurl the wings you just ate. On a final note, I was a fan of the Chipotle Honey wings; not hot, but tasty. read more

I come here all the time because it is next to office. Over the past 6 months, the fruit flies, at least at the bar where I like to sit, are swarming uncontrollably. I found myself hurrying to put sandwich in my mouth before a fly lands on it. I mean seriously, I am literally concentrating on every bite as it is that gross. Multiple managers have told me it is typical in STL restaurants. Give me a break already. No other restaurants around here that I go to have the problem. Ayshia was an amazing and beautiful server! 10/10. We came in two hours before close and she made sure we got full service, food was hot, and drink recommendations were on point! Too bad the bartender Maddie didn't know how to make anything, didn't know what she had behind the bar and had an attitude the whole time. Very disappointed outing. Went in for dinner on Tuesday evening about 6:00pm 6:15pm and waited for someone at the hostess stand to come and seat me. It wasn't a particularly busy night as only about a dozen table (if that many) had patrons at them. All of the waitresses/servers/employees seemed to be hanging around the bar, talking to each other (I guess with so few customers, I guess there was nothing else to do. After standing there like an idiot for about three minute like the invisible man, I gave up and went the Johnny's West for wings, where I was greeted, sat and had my order taken immediately. We only go to Hooters every so often, but usually regret it every time. Today was no exception, the food itself was decent, but the service was horrible. Our waitress neglected to check in with us during the entire visit, if we flagged her down she would forget to bring what we asked. We asked for a beer menu at the time of ordering, had to flag her down to ask again, then never saw her again to order anything. We ordered it with the person who brought out the food, but then received it after we finished the food! To top it off, we used cash and she short changed us by $20. My husband still tipped her $10 even though she really deserved less to none. read more

I was meeting some friends for lunch at the Hooters on Lacklind Road and was somewhat concerned about how the service and food would be after reading the reviews posted on Yelp. I must say our service and food was excellent. Our server, Ally Cae did an excellent job of making sure our food and drinks were to our satisfaction. We will be coming back soon and often. read more

I would first like to say the food was cold and disgusting, i waited almost two hours even before getting notified that the kitchen staff was short. I waited over 90 minutes for my food to show up and when it FINALLY did, boy was I disappointed. I mean how can you mess up chicken tenders? Worst food and service ever in the history of food service! My daughter got her quesadilla then 10 minutes later my son got his wings. No fries...jUst the wings. Ironically, the table beside us full of loud teenagers who used to work at Hooters got all of their food and drinks before us. Mind you, we ordered and arrived first. I never even received my dinner at all. My son never got his fries. We never got drink refills. I asked to speak with the manager and all he could mumble while avoiding eye contact was Im sorry. We are traveling and went thanksgiving night, 2019 (after having thanksgiving lunch with family in town). Katrina was our server and she did great. However, the food took FOREVER and was TERRIBLE!! I have never had wings so saucy (not good saucy, like sooooo much sauce saucy). I sent them back and just ate fries (all ends, no actual curly fries). My husbands sliders were crappy also. We were sat near the drink fountains on the right after entering and there were multiple flies swarming us the whole time. Extremely disappointing. I've been going to this location with my friends for as long as it has been open, 20+ years. In recent years it has been awful and we are looking for a new place to go on our occasional nights out. Last trip we went on all you can eat night and it was not packed. Probably 1/3 full. It took 45 minutes to get a plate of wings and just as long to get the waitress to bring us refills of water. At different points it seemed like she forgot about our table of 10 people so much so that we had to go to the counter just to get waters, soda, beer. Wow what a dud. Bartender had to be queried to take our orders for everything. Otherwise she was cleaning and oblivious to the customers. Virtually no charm. The Sunday night footballgame was in the 2nd half and everyone (4 people) were watching the game yet AC/DC was playing. I asked for the game audio and got a drag racing channel audio on Sunday night football. Food was served in paper bowls,lame. Hooters concept is generally old and stale at this point. At 40+ years old, I've seen enough tits and ass, and surely don't need to pay for food with tits and ass running around as a sideshow. I made an order to go and pick up. Paid on phone dropped brother off at door to pick up. The charge was $57.00. I was charged the day before I went there for $68.00 and the day I went $64.92. Found out that my brother paid cash for the order. I contacted them and got the $68.00 back. My brother drove over there and showed them the receipt which they took to put on the record for that order. I never got the $64.92 back. Contacted corporate office they said they will not refund without the receipt which they took. They ended up getting $57.00 cash and The $64.92 out of my bank account which meant they also got a $8.00 tip that I never put in in the first place. I have been eating at Hooters for over 20 years and have always been pleased. Over the past 3 years, the location near Westport in St Louis has disappointed on every visit. I periodically will try the location again in the hopes thIngs have improved, but the poor quality of food and service continues to exist. My most recent visit added insult to their poor record via an extra charge when I requested 'all flaps'. I was not informed of the extra charge until the bill came and frankly, this ticky-tack charge is defining the downgrade happening at Hooters. Also, the curly fries were just 'remnants'. Quality of food is decreasing, quality of service is poor, and now they are tryIng to charge ridiculous fees. Avoid the Westport location of Hooters in St Louis and be wary of all Hooters locations adding ridiculous fees that bring no value to the experience. 2 stars for fond memories only. It will be 1 Star without Hooters history. Get your act together Hooters. I want my old Hooters back. read more

I've not been to the other area Hooters, so I can't really compare this one to other ones. I end up going here often just because it's so frickin convenient to my house and I am *lazy*. The restaurant itself is always clean and I have never seen dirty tables sitting around waiting to be bussed. Those girls must stay so thin running dirty dishes back and forth to the kitchen one by one. The waitresses are always friendly, even to the female patrons. They typically do a good job keeping up with drink refills. I feel sorry for them with the costumes they have to wear, but my male friends do seem to appreciate them. The food itself is pretty good. I like their wings for the most part although wingstop still holds my heart for best, juiciest wings. They've recently switched dressing, so the Ranch is out of a big bottle instead of individual packets. Ranch dressing is a religion to me, so I can tell a difference. I think it's for the better, but most people probably wouldn't notice. If you get the fries, share with someone else and splurge by getting the cheese. The fried pickles are the best of anyone, anywhere. Get them! I also tried the tater tots for the first time, they're pretty darn good. The only thing I've had here that I didn't care for was the crab legs. That's what I get for ordering something other than wings at a wing place... read more

So first of all let me say I'm a bit of a cheapskate. That said, I have no problem paying 9.00+ for a salad if it's worth the money. Here is what the menu said I ordered: Spring mix, diced tomato, bleu cheese crumbles and onions tossed in ranch dressing and topped with breaded chicken with your favorite wing sauce. I ordered mine without tomato and grilled chicken (I know, so picky... but I want what I want.) Here's what I actually got: Lettuce, some egg, grilled chicken, and dressing. And not much of any of it.. (Again, nothing worth 9.00) The whole reason I went to this cleavage factory was to get a BUFFALO chicken salad. Instead I got a lame dinky salad with some grilled chicken. They also show you the salad before you pick it up. So I got a glance from 5 ft away across the bar, looked like a salad to me, a skimpy one, but didn't realize everything else was missing - so I guess it's all my fault. In summary: - My order was late, not terribly late but late. - No blue cheese, no onion, no hot sauce.. so it's a salad.. not a buffalo chicken salad - Skimpy on the size for an entree salad. On a plus side, the staff members here are very pleasant and polite, and I may go back since it's around the corner from my office and what I got didn't taste bad... but I'll bring my magnifying glass with me to make sure each ingredient is actually present before I accept the meal. read more

Oysters rock. Cooked or raw. Where can I get my fix?? HOOTERS!!! Yah, so what if girls serve in skimpy shorts and the title of the restaurant is spurious in nature. Really, the oysters are a fair deal if you want them quick and tasty. Use lots of lemon. I tend to be wearing a tie after work so it doesn't always bode well with the eating. Unfortunately, aside from chicken wings, not much here is really that tasty to crave. However, the multiple television screens are helpful. Hooter's is another bar with wings and all things fried. I selected the buffalo shrimp and fried pickles and of course tater tots! The service was good, very nice girl waited on our group of nine. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IF NOT PISSED! My wife, myself, and two kids wanted to go eat somewhere we all knew since we were out and about this evening. So we came across hooters and decided to stop! We made our way into the building, my little kid had to go to the bathroom, so my wife took him in the bathroom, me and my little guy (little brother) stood there by the to go table (per the sign by the door to wait to be seated). We waited for easily 15 minutes, and not a single person even acknowledged we were there! The manager never looked at the door, they were too busy chatting and laughing in the kitchen/behind the bar and messing around on their phone to even help. The girl behind the bar acted like dead lice was falling off of her, acting like it was a crime to place a drink order with her. There were waitresses everywhere sitting with patrons at the bar. There was a fella waiting for a to go order for he said twenty minutes and was basically not helped or updated. This place needs a snack in the face with a major complaint. The kitchen also was goofing off instead of cooking. I don't know what's wrong with this place, but maybe they need to fire everybody from the GM all the way down to the table buzzers!
