So so sad. My 64 year old dad went in to watch the raiders game- when he was there he went to order a beer and could not hear the waitress due his hearing. when she came back for 2nd rounds she cupped her hands like a microphone and yelled "hey want another beer" and started laughing with others around her. this is beyond disgusting and sad. who treats a customer that way? my poor elderly dad came home sad and told me all about it.... management should have a talk with staff about how customers are treated. read more

We sat down for a meal of Cheese Sticks, Chicken Caesar Salad, Texas Mex Nachos and of course 'Wings. The onion rings with my Bacon Mac and Cheese Burger were a little less crunchy than I liked and this Hooters doesn't participate in the App Awards (big bummer for me) but server Ashley kept us in good spirits throughout out dining experience. We hadn't been to this Hooters since it closed down and re-opened. My husband picked Hooters for his free veterans meal and had been craving their onion rings. Our server, Shelcy, was attentive, as were all the other servers. She was cheerful and when I asked her a question about the wings, she was quick to point out that it was Happy Hour and that the wings were half off! She let my my husband know what menu items were being offered to veterans. He ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and onion rings. I ordered boneless wings with the parmesan garlic sauce. While we were waiting for our meals, I had to run out to my car to get my jacket as it was a bit too chilly in the restaurant! This is typical of most restaurants in Yuma though! Our meals came out quickly and were piping hot. our chicken was moist and tasted good. The onion rings were yummy, as usual. We received our bill in a timely fashion and were able to pay it quickly. The restaurant was clean and tables were bussed quickly. The volume of the music could have been a little lower to allow for easier conversation. My husband used the restroom and said it was clean. They use to have cornhole boards in the open area of the restaurant. Those are now gone and have been replaced with two pool tables. Lots of televisions playing various sports. There are also two patio seating areas for customers to enjoy the outdoors. On a funny note...Hooters has the flattest forks ever! Management has obviously improved from the last time we were there. It is likely that we will return. Especially during Happy Hour because we'd rather pay half-off for our meals! read more

Very poor management and the little girls that work there are about as worthless as a box of rocks. The hostesses and bartender were very friendly but our waitress Yani was rude. She seemed like she didn't wanna be there at all. We got our appetizer after our meal and got charged extra for sauce with the wings. 2 orders of wings, one ranch, one blue cheese. And we ended up getting charged for the blue cheese. You'd think each order of wings comes with their own sauce but apparently that wasn't the case. You know what you're getting into when you come here. You're either up for the fun of it or you're not. They do a good job of making it a fun Vegas-style atmosphere. The review is based on knowing what I was getting into. The food is probably best if you go for lots of starters and finger foods like wings. Lots of tastes to enjoy during the game. It's nothing amazing but good for a bite and a drink and works for the atmosphere the place is going for. I had the shrimp tacos based on a recommendation and I thought it was pretty good. Not my first time eating at Hooters but was my first time at the Yuma Hooters. The restaurant was very clean and so was the ladies room. Wings and shrimp were excellent. Would have liked more dipping sauce but our waitress did not return until I had already eaten them without. Also if you are serving wings, shrimp and nuggets, one tiny cup of dipping sauce is not nearly enough. Ordered the beer cheese pretzels. I am a beer cheese snob so I took off a star for lumpy, cold cheese sauce that had no beer flavor. Someone go get the beer cheese at Red Robin. This is what beer cheese should look and taste like. I don't mind cheese sauce. But if you say "beer" cheese sauce, it should taste like beer and cheese. Our food came out quickly and the service was not too bad. What I really needed at the end of my meal was a wet-wipe. By the time the waitress returned with the check I had already used the restroom instead. It's little things that can ruin wings.. so I might be biased already with hooters because I think highly of the breaded mild wings. We sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and attentive. She got our drinks and we placed our order. Visited this location twice during a vacation road trip. My initial stop (for lunch) was great with calendar girl Ashley signing my calendar's poster she was featured on and Brooke doing great serving me, but my dinner visit (also Oct. 19) which also included watching the Saints game was a major disappointment. My evening waitress Michelle was rude and acted as if she didn't want to do anything, REFUSING to take a picture with me and telling me she didn't take pictures with customers. It would have been nice if she had just told me that at least an hour earlier (she initially agreed to my request), as she's expected to be camera ready at all times as a Hooters Girl. If she can't be photogenic with/for customers like all the other HGs or feels the need to treat customers like me so badly, she shouldn't even be working there. I've been to over 330 Hooters locations in the past 15 years and have been treated much better at most of the others, but I'll likely never visit this one again. read more

As far as Hooters' go, this one's pretty decent. Food is what you'd expect. Service is what you'd expect. The cornhole area is a nice touch (with cornhole tournaments on Tuesday). My only ding on this location is that their TouchTunes is HEAVILY restricted. If you don't want to hear Top 40 garbage, you won't find what you're looking for.
