Came in hungry, left annoyed. The waiter moved at a glacial pace, completely forgot to put in one of our entrées, and somehow managed to mess up a cheeseburger by forgetting the cheese. Haven't been here in like forever and I have to say was pretty happy with my lunch. I had the triple cheeseburger with seasoned fries. My wife had a simple breakfast. My burger was meaty and had a good flavor. The fries hot and crispy. The breakfast was satisfying to my wife. Our server was nice and friendly. She always had our drinks topped off. The price was right on point it was around $15 for mine and about $7 for breakfast. So I think I'll be back for another burger. It had an easy going music and was too loud. read more

The biscuits were hard, and the meal was not hot. I ordered sausage, which I never got. Instead they gave me bacon that tasted like, and looked like wet cardboard. We started coming into Denny's Foothill when we moved from San Diego, and we still go there at times. But the last time we were there a couple weeks ago, I refused to pay for my food. I asked that the hash browns be browned on both sides, they came back white no brown at all. So of course I sent them back, in the meantime my omelette was cold. It went from bad to worse and I was leaving, waitress came over and took it off the bill. It's this way every time if I order that omelette. In search of some late-night food after the final day of the Yuma County Fair our group settled on Denny's right next to the freeway and across from the Shiloh Hotel. Being a Sundsy night it was not too busy, and we were seated immediately. A couple of servers helped us, and both were nice and friendly. My wife and our friend both went for the Cobb Salad with Grilled Chicken. I tried a new skillet offering - the Sizzling Bourbon Chicken Skillet. The food arrived in a timely manner after our drink selections. I was told the salads were delicious and given how quickly they were devoured, I believed them. My skillet was amazing and so much more filling than previous Denny's skillets which I have had. I even contemplated taking some of it back to our Airbnb but pushed through to finish it. Some of the diner chains you hit late at night can be hit or miss and this one definitely was a hit. Solid Denny's, IMHO. We'll be back next time we are in town. read more

This is a very old location. It is in a very bad need of a remodel. You could smell the bathrooms as soon as you walked in the door. The seat in the booth we are at had a hole in it and seemed to have a busted spring. The food quality was not up to what what we have come to expect at a Denny's. I came to this Denny's location one Saturday evening, after concluding my winter getaway. I had just crossed the border at San Luis, and I had a five-hour drive ahead of me. I was famished, so here I came to eat and have coffee. I walked in, and was immediately seated. I ordered some hot coffee and a glass of water. I went with the grilled salmon, with brown rice and brocolli. My food was delicious as it was healthy. The coffee was smooth, yet packed a good amount of caffeine to keep me going the five hours of driving I had ahead of me. The waiter was very attentive, friendly, and made sure I was taken cared of. This restaurant is clean and efficiently run. The other patrons were pleasant locals, and everyone here was polite. This is honestly one of the better Denny's locations that I've been to. I hope some locations back home in LA take notes. read more

The delivery when you order online from the Denny's website, I ordered dinner for my family today. The food delivery service is bad basically horrible. They use Door Dash for delivery. The delivery driver didn't even have the common courtesy to knock on the door and or ring the doorbell. Do not order takeout from Denny's if you're going to have it delivered. As far as I'm concerned Denny's Restaurants will never receive a takeout order for delivery from me. The food was cold. If we didn't have a security camera on our front porch we would've never known that the food was delivered. Don't order from Denny's Restaurants you are wasting your time and money. Beware of Denny's and Door Dash. Oh if you call Denny's to make a comment about the food and or delivery they act like they could not care less. Door Dash is worse than Denny's. You have to press 1 to speak English and the customer service representative could not hardly speak English and I couldn't hardly understand him. And he had a very bad attitude. I went to Denny's at 8:00 at night by myself and was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't eaten at a Denny's in a minute. I had been craving a good hamburger and I ordered the bourbon burger double patty with seasoned fries and a chocolate milkshake. The burger arrived and it was huge and loaded. It was excellent and I couldn't finish it. The fries were good and similar to Rallies. The milkshake came in a big metal cup like the ol days. Yuma is kind a midway to Tucson and just in time for food choices at a Denny's. First time here, we went for safe and got a omelet breakfast and the ham and egg sandwich. Both were very good , service in a normal time frame. She checked on us and refilled my iced tea. Left a good Tip. I thought it was fine. The other patrons were road Travelers. Over the weekend me and a party of 5 were completely humiliated and disrespected by a server named Wendy. As Wendy was taking our orders we were all laughing and joking around with each other which she completely misinterpreted and thought we were laughing at her. In no way were we disrespectful towards her nor laughing at her. Wendy than raised her voice at our table but speaking directly at one of our party members and said that we where being disrespectful, laughing at her and had ignored her several times and no longer felt comfortable serving us and wasn't going to finish taking our orders and stormed off after we had apologized to her several times and reassured her we where laughing about current conversation and not her. We were all left clueless so in that moment one of our party members got up to go speak to her in a kind and approachable manner to figure out what had just happened. Wendy continued to be rude and did not want to talk to them and said that she had already called the police on us for trespassing and that they would deal with us. Wendy never once asked us to leave the premises. We just assumed she wasn't taking that last party members order who we than learned she had a personal matter with which we were unaware of at the moment. Wendy made a big response that triggered about 14 cops to come. Thankfully the cops where very kind and understanding of the situation and let us go with a verbal warning and advised us we where banned for a year from coming to Dennys, that it was out of their hands and we'd have to talk to corporate to be cleared. We where completely embarrassed and humiliated as all customers who where enjoying their dinner stared at us out the windows. Wendy had made a big call to the police that triggered a mass response of police officers. Employees should know better than to let their personal life's affect their work life and remain more professional. read more

I know I wasn't making the best choice for breakfast but I wanted something walkable from my hotel and was hopeful that since it was breakfast that it would be bad. I'll start with the good - all the wait staff were super friendly and seemed in good spirits (makes for a nice atmosphere). The restaurant was clean. I ordered a basic combo for breakfast with fried eggs, sausage, hash browns and pancakes... while the pancakes had good flavor the rest was ... not good. The hash browns barely browned and still "crunchy" from not being cooked all the way and the sausage was cold. They give one little ball of butter and because of COVID restrictions only the little packets of salt and pepper (1 of each) - yes I could have asked for more but ... who uses only one packet of pepper?! (If they are using it) again the pancakes had good flavor... I personally would have liked more of the fruit but really it was an amount I would have expected. Maybe I should have walked a bit further to the IHOP :/ read more

Worst dining experience in a long time! We were shopping in the Foothills and decided to eat at Denny's as we hadn't tried it, yet. Bad idea! There was almost no one there, yet the "hostess" was sullen and unfriendly. She seated us right next to the only other people in the restaurant. She came back 10 minutes later to take our orders. We waited for 50 minutes to receive our order. The food was overcooked and cold. The hash browns were cooked in some cheap, gross oil. My friends bread was stale. Her fried chicken was a deep, deep brown- so overcooked she could only eat the very center. A passing waitress had to be asked to bring us refills. She didn't. Another waitress was asked, but she brought only the tea (10 minutes later) but no refill for the water. We were there for a total of one hour and 40 minutes! It was awful! Food and service this bad should not have to be paid for in full. Denny's employees really take the 'don't work too hard' mantra to heart. read more
