Their groomer is amazing. My 5.5 lb. Yorkie gets the BEST grooming she's ever had. Glands, nails, and cut i requested. Teddie bear face and smooth body. We highly recommend them. Went to Hope Clinic to have our Chocolate Lab's teeth cleaned and have some fatty masses taken off. Dr. Pete met a month before hand and came up with a good plan that would put less stress on Brody. Dr. P called and gave an update after the teeth cleaning and extraction and let us know Brody was doing great under anesthesia. The Surgery went great and Brody is recovering quickly (Day After). For a review to be fair you have to mention the good with the not so good. **** update below**** I had to visit Hope Animal Clinic when my miniature Schnauzer was having allergy issues and just recently my Belgium Malinois hurt her front arm and needed care. On both visits, Dr. Foulke was incredible with her knowledge, compassion and care. Her assistant Bethany again was simply marvelous with our pets and explaining things to us before and after care. Stacy at the front desk equally was attentive from the time we entered the facility through the process including billing and payments at the end of our experience. Now on to the " not so good." On our last recent visit while Dr. Foulke was speaking to both my wife and I regarding treatment a member of the staff decided to initiate the billing/payment process all the while we were speaking with the doctor. As a result there was miscommunication causing medication to be charged without approval and then not included with the other medications causing us to leave the facility without those medications ( Adequan Canine). This error on the staff members part caused me to have to drive back to the facility and retrieve the medication. Once at home I noticed that the box of Adequan states (2) viles, however there was only (1) vial in the box. I returned to the facility and was told by staff that the $213 I paid for the Adequan was for only (1) vial. If I had been given the option to buy or not buy the medication instead of the staff member automatically charging me without approval is not fair practice when I could have visited the "Chewy" website and purchased the same exact medication for $166/for (2) vials. It's a double kick in the rump and lesson well learned on my part. As the old saying goes, " screw me once shame on you, screw me twice shame on me. As a retired firefighter you won't screw me twice! This bad experience started the moment the staff member interrupted our meeting with Dr. Foulke so that I can pay for services including for medications I did not approve of and were not included with the other medications and to make matters worse overcharged for less medication that I could have easily purchase at a site they themselves recommend for a better price and double the medication. The Hope Clinic has great doctors, and awesome staff members like Bethany and Stacy. I pray management reads my write-up and prevents this from happening to anyone else who brings in a sick or injured pet/family member because the focus should be on receiving the proper care and not "Hope" that your paying for something you didn't receive and overcharged for to boot! *****Update: Friday after returning from Hope Animal Clinic I received a call from Jordan ( Assistant Manager) and again this Monday morning from Britany advising me that they will be refunding me the price difference of $148.50 for Skyy's medication and price matching Chewy's price. Firstly, one would hope that professionalism & genuine care for animals rather than clear monetary returns, would be of utmost importance, especially given the veterinary profession. Secondly, after visiting many vets around the country, having many, many pets over the years, I have never experienced a "veterinarian," who is not only extremely, & extremely would be an understatement, not only inexperienced, as voiced by herself but clearly inadequate to even press a procedure that she has never done herself, which she stated various times. She did not discuss why the health issue occurred, nor the causes within my dog. She did not discuss how to prevent it. The only issue she discussed was various procedures to a fully healthy dog. Due to the obvious inquisitiveness as to why this occurred, she agreed that it was most likely due to the cause I, not a veterinarian by profession, concluded too. In other words, there is a high likelihood this issue is curable without surgery, nor extensive surgery, which I've now cross checked with other veterinarians. This office then had the veterinarian & her staff continuously, to be specific, more than four times, attempt to aggressively push multiple surgeries upon my dog. I was then pressed to sign an authorization, agreeing to the aforementioned charges, regardless of my & my fiancé's consistent apprehension & voiced need for a day or so to consider. In order to preface this, there are cameras in their veterinary rooms, documenting all of the above. Both my fiancé & I asked various times if this is a life threatening issue. The "licensed," veterinarian responded that it is not life threatening & that she would need to see other patients. All above being said, they do not care about the wellbeing of animals & are more concerned about money than all else. Terribly rude, disrespectful, & unprofessional on all accounts. To close, her verbiage was highly unprofessional, uneducated, disturbing, & concerning to say the least. I would NOT trust my animal here for any reason whatsoever. read more

O had to make a last minute appointment for my cat who was suffering with an upper respiratory infection. I expected the bill to be comparable to an emergency pet clinic since they were able to get me in so quickly and provided the antibiotics and nose drops. It was shockingly reasonable and I felt such relief; my cat started feeling better almost immediately. The front office was professionally staffed and she was very sweet. They were all friendly and welcoming and made me feel at ease. The clinic was beautiful and clean, and was in a fairly new building that was aesthetically pleasing, comfortable building that did not smell like a vet! Why do animals get sick on the weekend? Luckily I found this Vet clinic opened on a Saturday (they close at noon) and did not have to find an "emergency" clinic for my Chihuahua. I called , scheduled an appointment with no issues and they had availability. The veterinarian was "no nonsense" which I really appreciated that he didn't feel the need to run her through a battery of tests. He did a thorough examination and couldn't really find anything that required blood work and an X-ray (which always happens when you feel you have an emergency and it seems like they know it and can charge larger sums of $$). He deduced that it might be her anal glands giving her issues-and expressed them. Once he did this, he came back with her and she seemed better. Suggested I keep an eye on her and if she wasn't better by Monday, to bring her back. Again, no nonsense approach. And only charged for the services he provided and was very reasonable. The good news is that my dog seems better. I appreciate not being charged a large sum of money for services that are not always necessary. With a reasonable conclusion. Staff was very pleasant, and Dr. Robert Spillers was awesome. Would recommend this Vet clinic and glad they have Saturday hours. read more

Steer clear! There is a Vet Tech (Chelsea Adams). claims to provide a pet sitting service on the side. We trusted this person for a while. Over 2 years. Suspicious started to set in. We installed cameras. She sure showed up to pick up a check. During the coldest snap of the year she failed to fed a 30+ senior horse. She left our senior dog go without food on the same day. The chickens were not put up and left out for predictors at night. All cats went without food and water. When the cameras were not notifying us that she arrived, we texted. No response. We called a friend. Who discovered water trickling in the sink, plugged up with soak senior feed and flooding. Water damage to a new tack room. Steer clear, she is worthless & will endanger your pets. read more

Dr. Kevin, Giovanna and the entire staff of Hope Animal Clinic literally saved the life of our boy Farley. Thursday morning while camping at Inks Lakes State Park Farley began exhibiting signs of bloat. I called the clinic and told them what had happened, and that I was on my way. 15 minutes later Dr. Kevin called me, asked what had happened and told me they'd be waiting for us to arrive. Dr. Kevin is wonderful. He kept me updated and took excellent care of Farley throughout his hospital stay. The entire staff is wonderful, helpful and compassionate. We recently moved to the area and had found a veterinarian that we liked. Unfortunately, we had an emergency with one of our dogs and our new vet was out of town but they referred us to Dr. Kevin at New Hope. His office was super busy but he worked us in. Though he was busy, I never felt rushed. He gave me options of what we could do for her. I took her home with explicit instructions on what to look for til I bring her back the next day. Before the end of the day he called and checked on her and he did that for 3 days, until she was better. I've never had a vet do that. He showed genuine concern for my girl. Where do I start!? This place is amazing! My cat needed emergency surgery on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and they were more than happy to help me. On December 22, 2017 I had a first time visit for my rescue pug we had just gotten! I had an appointment at the Horseshoe Bay clinic. It was pouring down rain and visibility was minimal! I was going to be a little late for my appointment about 10 minutes so I called them having gone to by mistake to the Hope veterinary clinic. I was told by the Horseshoe Bay veterinary clinic they weren't able to see me because they had "too many emergencies now." The ladies at the Hope veterinary clinic were very simpathetic to my situation at the time and I said to them: "let me just make an appointment here since you all have been so helpful." They said we will be happy to work you in since I was so frustrated at the Horseshoe Bay veterinary clinic! It was the best mistake I could have made!! They were great!!! read more
