We've taken both of our female Belgian Malinois to Dr. Nevill and she's the best. She is super sweet, very knowledgeable, and clearly loves what she does. One of our Mal's is a very skittish rescue and Dr. Nevill was so gentle with her to help make the appointment calming for our girl. I would definitely recommend!

I am a major fan of the practice and particularly Dr Bouloy. Cypress Creek took great care of our Scottie who had chronic disease. We were saved a lot of money versus going to a specialty hospital for primary care. And when the time came that we were faced with very hard choices Dr Holloway was very compassionate but clear and transparent on options. I will always rely on Cypress Creek in the future.

Arya loves Cypress Creek Pet Care!

Excellent place to bring your furry loved ones! I take my cat, Arya, to see Dr. Holloway. Let me tell you right now: Dr. Holloway is a STAR! She's a skilled veterinarian, of course -- but she's also incredibly kind and puts both patients and pet parents at ease. All of my talks with her about treatment have been polite and informative. I trust her to give me all the details I need to make the best care choices for my pet and have never felt like she or CPPC were trying to up-sell or overcharge me for superfluous tests. Dr. Holloway helped me through when I thought Arya had contracted some terrible, fatal disease -- turns out it was just feline asthma. Who knew kitties could get asthma!? Dr. Holloway helped explain how to treat my baby's new coughing fits and asthma attacks, as well as helped me keep the cost of the inhaler as low as possible. The indoor area is closed now due to COVID, but has been clean and pleasant every time I've gone inside with Arya. They have a "cat section" in the waiting room, which is perfect since my cat gets nervous around dogs she hasn't met yet. All the staff have been nothing but nice whenever I make the trip, and probably most importantly, Arya feels safe and I know she's in good hands. If you're looking for a new vet, I recommend Cypress Creek Pet Care. I moved to Round Rock and still drive down to Cedar Park because they're just so awesome! If you're able to see her, Dr. Holloway is a perfect choice!

Care is adequate however this is a Thrive business and therefore is quite expensive. I will be changing vets due to the excessive costs.

I saw Dr Bilao who took a thorough review of my dog Winston. He also updated his vaccinations.

Ask the Community - Cypress Creek Pet Care, A Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner

Are there any veterinarians at this clinic that lean into a more eastern medicine/holistic approach to pet care?

I don't know if I would say 'lean', however, I have had discussions with Dr. Kim in regards to treating my dog more holistically. You are part of the treatment plan. She was supportive of my initiatives and provided her knowledge on the subject…

I'm seeing all reviews pretty much on Dogs. Anyone take their cats there? I'm concerned they do not have adquate expertise with cats.

They are CLOSED!? I was super annoyed. Does everyone who washes their own dog not work during the week or are kid free to come in the evenings? Sundays seem like an obvious day you'd get business. All that aside, I decided I'd give it another try this week. Voila, It's Saturday, here we came! Before we got within 20 feet of the door both my pup and I could hear the dogs tipping and barking. I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue, but we pressed on. (Maybe it was a super fun doggie dance party and they were all excited???) My girl started refusing to go in... again, I should have just turned around and called my groomer. Alas, I did not. When we opened the door we were warmly greeted by a woman who was smiling and kind but whom I could barely even hear over the obnoxious barking and high pitched squealing of almost a dozen mini yorkie and chihuahua puppies. It was NON-STOP. There was another chance where we could have just cut and run, but no. The woman was so nice and I'm a sucker for trying to not offend people, so I smiled and entered the little booth. The tubs are nice and it was pretty straight forward to go hi re out how to use the water sprayer. There's a little harness to keep the dogs from jumping around too much. I felt AWFUL for making my girl stick it out in there with all the noise. I, myself, had a hard time keeping my heartbeat regulated. The yipping was dizzying. There were two towels sitting on the gate that i used and a blow dryer that felt a bit hot but I think you could adjust it? There was no way I could have asked for help because we couldn't hear our own thoughts let alone instructions on how to use something LOL. The brush was wet and dirty from the last use. There was hair in it. Not a huge deal because it's a bit weird to use another dogs brush on your own dog, right? Or they should be clean. Anyway, I feel like it's important to note that all those dogs were NOT customers. As I was checking out I asked why they were there and said "it messed with the ambiance and experience for sure!" I was told they are the owners dogs she is trying to sell. Ha! I told her that I'm sure they could sell them faster if it was nice and quiet in there and they had a lovely wall of photos saying puppies for sale. So, that's it. My review. I hate leaving bad reviews and I'm not sure I'll go back to try and do a good follow up and add some stars: my pup and I were pretty traumatized by it all. Notes: nice lady Should be open Sundays Please clean the brushes? And for the love, it would be awesome to have more of a "spa" experience instead of feeling like we went to the puppy mill. I only took one picture since I just couldn't focus on anything else other than survival. Lol

Her responses were fast, friendly, and thorough, and she made me feel comfortable about leaving my dog with her. Speaking of my dog... Sadie is 13 years old and quite the grouchy old lady. Her nails were horribly overgrown and I was too nervous to clip them myself. On top of that, she doesn't like to have her paws touched too much (in hindsight, maybe they were hurting her because of her freakishly long talons). After dropping her off, I was fully prepared to receive a phone call about how unruly Sadie was being and that her nails couldn't be done. That particular call never came. The only call I did receive was from Megan letting me know that Sadie was ready to be picked up. I couldn't believe it. She didn't chew anyone's face off? She wasn't being expelled for bad behavior? Nope! I arrived and found my old girl soft and fluffy. Her nails were even ground down much shorter than I thought they could be! In a good way! I received a report card detailing everything that Megan did and how Sadie reacted. Knowing Sadie is sometimes a little rotten (but I love her to pieces anyway), I consider Megan a miracle worker for getting her to cooperate! Megan has a true gift! If you're looking for a fantastic groomer, all of these 5-star reviews don't lie! She truly deserves every bit of praise she receives, so you should stop reading Yelp and start booking an appointment!
