I have brought my Miniature Schnauzer here ever since she was old enough to be groomed. They are really goodbto the animals and they do a great job on grooming. I really like that the dogs aren't caged while they wait for their appointment or after their appointment as well, they have ample space for them to run and play.. Only downside is it might be difficult to find if you're not familiar with the area.. but once you find it it's super simple to find it again.. Ill always bring my girl here for her grooming, and if you're looking for a place you NEED to give this place a shot... I don't think you'll look anywhere else. read more

I couldn't be more disappointed in a business. I was put off three times trying to get my dog groomed before vacation. My dog limped, due to arthritis & was told I'd have to postpone my appt. until she was better, I complied. I was then told because we changed the date her shots were out of date 4 days so I rushed to comply. Then, based on info from Lady answering phone, I was given wrong info on two things so when I showed up, complying, she said I was wrong & they couldn't groom her 2 days before we leave!! I had asked about boarding when I first called, so I inquired about seeing where she'd be housed & they wouldn't take me back there which made wonder why. They probably do a good job, but I didn't get to find out. The groomers seemed friendly, but I didn't get to find out. I scrambled to find another groomer, but, thankfully, I found one that would take her in on short notice. read more

Kona went for her second time to be groomed ever and they left her little mohawk like I wanted and took the creative liberty to leave her tail long (too cute)! Kona is a very slow to trust since adoption and she seemed to do very well. Very pleased with the way they interact with the dogs! Like the concept of the dogs interacting with one another. Kona didn't seem stressed after day of beauty but just needed a little nap before she was back to her shenanigans. read more

I bring both of my dogs here, a lab mix and a miniature poodle. My poodle has luxating patellas in both of her back legs and Heath is the only one I trust to give her specialized care. My lab mix is such a nervous dog that she has to have sedatives just to visit the vet for shots. Heath bathes and cuts her nails without any type of sedative (NO meds allowed in Unleashed) and is the only person that can calm her down naturally, I can't even do her nails myself. I thought long and hard about leaving this review. It's been a month or 2 now and I feel like people need to be warned. I took my dog here for over a year. When I moved to the area I called and explained I have an older dog with memory problems who can become aggressive and needs lots of time and to be muzzled. Because of his behavior, I try and do as much grooming at home as possible until it gets to the point I am forced to bring him in. The owner said she had experience with these kinds of situations and to bring him in. Her personality is cold and unfriendly but I thought as long as they are good with my baby I don't care. He looked good and she said he did well. I brought him back a few times with the occasional issue like them not calling me to tell me to come get him so I'd have to call. I live 30 minutes away and once had to call at 4:30 to ask for status for them to be rude to me and say I need to be there by 5. I ended up having to send someone to get him because I wasn't going to make it in time and my friend said the owner was a real, enter foul language here, to him. Like I said before, I didn't care if she wasn't the nicest to me as long as she was good to my dog. The last time I took him in at 8:30am and at around 9:30 received a call that he had bitten his groomer pretty good and I needed to come get him. I jumped in my car upset and went to get him when it hit me, how'd he get her through the muzzle? When I arrived the groomer who had been bitten was working on another dog with a Band-Aid on her hand. I was very upset because my dog had NEVER broken skin on anyone before and didn't even bring the muzzle up. I insisted on paying for the full groom and apologized repeatedly. Again the owner was cold and had very little to say. At around 5:30pm I received a call from the marble Falls PD letting me know that she had reported the bite and my dog would need to quarantine. I had recently moved out of the county and was now going to have to surrender my dog who was elderly, with dementia, and health problems to the local shelter. She had waited all day to make her employee go to the doctor and now being after 5 all the offices for the state were closed and it was a three day weekend so unfortunately the officers hands were tied. I begged and pleaded and cried hysterically letting them know that my dog will not understand what is happening and will die in a shelter. I was lucky enough that I had a officer who agreed that it was ridiculous they waited all day to report it and that if they had done it at the time of the bite we could've had this all figured out and do an at home quarantine. Luckily, this officer came to my county, got my case transferred and I was able to do an at home quarantine. but this is just the beginning of where things went downhill with my pet...he hasn't been the same since. I understand that my dog bit somebody and that yes they had to report it because she decided to go to the doctor after working a full day. What I don't understand is why my dog who I have verbally told them he's aggressive wasn't muzzled, why the person didn't go see a doctor right away, and why I was never notified that they were going to be reporting it so that I could be prepared for the police calling me. Like I said to start with I really didn't know if I should leave this review. After talking to other people in the area who have dealt with this lady, I think it's best to find somebody who will not only treat your pet right but treat you right. I wish things would have been better but luckily I have found an amazing groomer who not only respects me but takes the time and understanding with my pet. read more

I brought in my little chihuahua mix dog after attempting to give her a decent haircut myself. Of course it was not even, parts where very short and she looked silly. After spending some time here she came out smelling fresh and looking great. She also got to socialize with the other dogs and wasn't locked in a kennel like other places. I brought my dog in to get his nails cut it seems like they missed about half of the back nails because they are still as long as when i brough him in. They were really nice and good with my animals but i feel like i brought him there for no reason since the point was for his nails to be trimmed I feel like they rushed through it. While passing through Marble Falls, we decided to use Unleashed. Our 15lb dog, Brother, loved the place. What a great place. We asked to have his nailed done and be shampooed while there. Since he was in daycare, this was taken in to account and they gave us a package deal. Brother got a de-shedding treatment too. He looked amazing. If I could give zero stars, I would. They let the dogs run wild and take all day to groom a small dog. Most importantly, when I picked up my dog, he was traumatized. I believe they may have drugged my dog as he was not really responsive for about an hour after I brought him home. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO UNLEASHED IN MARBLE FALLS! read more

Beware! Beware! They will try to rip you off, even when they don't do the job. I took my Bouvier in to be groomed yesterday and it ended up costing me $55 just to get my dog back WITHOUT her even being groomed. For starters, when making the appt they could not find any record of her coming to them last year, saying their system had crashed and they lost their data. Okay, it happens, but because of this, they had no record of the scam they used last time so they tried to repeat the same scam. Last time, my pup had some ugly mats in her hair and they called me and said they would have to shave her to the skin or charge me triple to get the mats out. Then, of course I chose the shaving. However, this time she already was cut fairly short (only about 1.5 inch length hair) and I kept up on brushing her regularly, including a full work through 2 nights before her grooming to make sure she wouldn't have to be shaved. We drove the 40 miles to the Unleashed shop, dropped her off and they told us 2 - 3 hours, depending on how complicated the grooming was and that they would call when ready. At 4 hours of waiting in town and running errands, we dropped back by. They told us 1.5 to 2 more hours, deflecting my questions about her status. We left again and within 20 minutes, they called saying she was covered in mats and could not be groomed unless we paid triple (oh yes, the same old song) for them to brush her out or they could completely shave her for $95, $20 more than the original grooming total. I argued and said she wasn't completely matted when I dropped her and why did it take them 4.5 hours to be able to tell me she couldn't be groomed. It was obvious my girl had been sitting in a cage for 4 hours and they only pulled her out to bathe her when I came in to pick her up. I told them I was coming back and not to do anything more to her. Once there, I couldn't get any answers from the girl up front and a guy (presumably the groomer) brought her out and said she was covered in mats and was not groomable. I ran my hand down her neck, back, sides and there were no mats. I asked him where the mats were. He stammered and said the underside of her neck and chest were one complete mat. I ran my hand down those locations and she was silky clean with no mats. He then grabbed her back, spent what felt like an eternity rubbing her all over and finally said, "Look, there is a mat under her right side armpit". I felt under there and indeed, there was a small, half inch by quarter inch size mat in her armpit (which took me 15 seconds to remove once I got her home later). I said, "yes, here is one and you can even see the small sticker burr in it because it has accumulated so little hair to this point. Are there any more?" He pulled her leash back toward him and exclaimed that she "was covered under there". The girl then said I owed $55 for the bath. I asked, "since the entire thing was supposed to be $75, are you telling me the grooming part only costs $20 since a fifteen minute bath is $55? I told them that it was obvious they were too busy today and simply did not want to groom her and looking for excuses, and I didn't intend to pay them $55 for wasting my entire day sitting in a town 40 miles away while they chose not to groom my dog. (It was already closing in on 4pm and they didn't appear to want to stay over into party Friday evening to groom a Bouvier.) Ultimately, I had no choice but to pay the $55 because they were holding my dog hostage. I now have to try to find someone last minute to groom my pup after already blowing $55. It was a complete scam and I would highly recommend steering clear of them. BUYER BEWARE and BE WARNED! read more
