I'm so so happy I found this place. Coffee was great, I got the salted caramel latter with oat milk, husband got the cinnamon latte with almond milk. Both tasted like actual coffee and weren't too sweet! We can't stand when we get coffee and it tastes more milky sugar than like coffee. The vibe was excellent too. Clean, open space/not stuffy. Great to bring a laptop and work there. What really made the impression is they support missions and small coffee farmers. We live 30 min away but will definitely be coming back!! read more

Coffee is good and the atmosphere looks nice, but beware if you're trying to get work done. Lots of unsupervised children running around. Several times they squeezed their way back and worth between my table and the wall where my laptop was plugged in, bumping into my table and myself. This is a really cute local coffee shop and it's great that there's one in Sunnyvale now. It's really spacious and they even have an outdoor patio for more places to sit. They have great variety of coffees and teas available, where most of them are pretty unique flavors. They also have seasonal drinks that are custom made by their baristas which is really neat! I do think the prices are high, but otherwise it's a great place to be at! read more

This is my favorite coffee shop! The coffee is high quality and drinks are delicious. And the breakfast tacos and bagel sandwiches are SO good! There are also muffins, cookie bars, salads and snacks. This shop has lots of seating inside and a gorgeous outdoor courtyard with more shaded seating and yard games. The best part is that HOPE Coffee gives back to the local community and supports education and helps those in need in Central America in countries where their coffee is grown. read more

This business is awesome. Not only are the prices good, the coffee and drinks taste amazing(saying this after 10 or more visits). Their food is really good. I had the sausage breakfast taco and also tried the brisket breakfast sandwich with bacon added on. The amount of flavor and how perfectly the meat was cooked, I think Gordon Ramsey would approve. Definitely will be back. They also give back to the countries they get their coffee from, like the metal roofs above the cash registers, the polished concrete floors, and water filtration system are examples of things they do to give back to the countries for people who need them. read more

The best coffee place, you can't beat it!! The staff and owner are wonderful and we love seeing their smiling faces when we walk in. They know our names and we have begun to learn theirs from our frequent visits. The breakfast is FANTASTIC!! Their coffee and lattes are PHENOMINAL!! There is Christian music playing and the atmosphere is clean and pretty. The hours are good and they stay open a little later on Friday and Saturday (9pm). There is an outdoor seating area and small yard for children to play that is safe and away from the parking lot. Sometimes there is a birthday/graduation party happening on the lawn and you cannot enjoy the outside on those days but it's just a tiny con on an occasion. There is a park right across the little walk bridge about a 4 minute walk just east of the property with a playground for children. Hope Coffee Sunnyvale is a must visit coffee shop! read more

Let me begin by saying, I love Hope Coffee's product. I think it's fantastic; the coffee and the pastries (created by Latham Bakery) are wonderful. I'm basing my review not by the quality of the product, but because of A) time taken to craft a single drink and B) customer service. I frequent Hope Coffee enough in the mornings (before 6:50) to know that there isn't a huge line waiting inside. Yet, I have multiple times experienced wait times of over 20 minutes in the drive through for a two to three car line, two times resulting in cars leaving the drive thru line . Unacceptable. If you're running a drive through, you MUST be able to create and present drinks in an acceptable amount of time. There is no reason my single 16 oz drink is taking 6+ minutes to make - again, on more than one occasion. This morning, I went again, because as stated, I do love the product. Hope Coffee has the "punch card" policy that your tenth drink is free. Bear in mind, to get to that "free" drink, you're spending at least $45 before taxes, and that's at bare minimum. Most times, I'll get a pastry or a breakfast taco in addition. I had a free drink owed this time, and handed my card to the cashier, a barista I had never seen before. Because it was to be free, I decided to upgrade to a 20oz rather than a 16oz drink. The barista informed me that I owed a whopping $.27. I'll be honest, I was a bit incredulous. Evidently, "free drink" is only offered up to a certain amount. While $.27 cents is literally pennies, the principle of the matter is what bothered me. Don't promote a free drink if it's not going to be - and if someone is uncertain or unaware that it's to a certain amount, or if you're updating your "punch cards," honor what has been done in the past. Again, I do appreciate Hope's chill atmosphere and the quality drinks while frequenting inside, but I have experienced too many problems with the drive thru to continue to make this a regular occurrence read more
