Hope Plumbing is a fantastic, reliable, and honest company. Several years ago, we had a sewer lateral installed by a company that was later absorbed by Hope Plumbing. Recently, when we sold our home, an inspection uncovered issues with the lateral--even though it was only about two years old. Hope Plumbing did not hesitate to stand behind the work. They promptly sent a representative to conduct an inspection and provide a written report. Once the issue was confirmed, they took care of the necessary repairs and made the process easy and professional. What impressed me most was that they went above and beyond by offering the new homeowner an extension of the warranty, even though they were not obligated to do so. That level of customer service and integrity is hard to find these days. While I didn't have any work performed yet, Hope Plumbing was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable! I called one evening frantic as water was coming from my ceiling. Hope sent someone out within an hour or so to assess the situation. I did not feel pressured to have work performed. I had more immediate needs and the plumbing was not the priority at the time. The plumber was very respectful of my decision and I do plan to reach back out once I'm ready to proceed with optional plumbing upgrades. Even if they fix the problem they made, the lack of care for their customer's time is disrespectful. I first used Hope as I saw them actively supporting the Communities. I like supporting local, which they are and not big corporate businesses. I've used Hope on several occasions but just recently for replacing my water heater and water softener. Eric Campbell was my technician that came out. He was punctual and called to let me know he was on his way. He was friendly and patient with me by going over all my options. I currently had a 150 gallon tank, that took up a lot of room in my HVAC room in the basement. He talked to me about tankless. I liked the idea that it had a 15 yr warranty, I would never run out of hot water and the fact that it was so small and compact. I went with it and can't believe how much space opened up in that room. The crew that came out and installed the tankless and softener were very professional as well. They took great care removing my old take from the basement as it was quite heavy and bulky. Now that they do heating and cooling, I'll have them out shortly to service and tune up my heater and get it ready for winter. Ron Allard came out from Hope to get my heat pump cooling on a HOT July 3rd. System was broken and we were sweltering. Other companies said they would not do anything until after the weekend (3days) since it was a Holiday. Ron diagnosed the problem quickly, had to make a special 1.5 hour drive for the part, then installed it and got the system running. I really appreciate the help from Hope. If I could give negative stars I would. TERRIBLE. RIP OFF. DECEIVING. HOPE tried to bully me into spending $11,000k for a project that Sewer or Septic Services (SOS) did for $3400 with a better pump and faster service. SOS was so professional. They communicated the exact cost breakdown of their estimate, what pump would be installed (with a pamphlet on the model and how it worked) and recommended an equally competent company to empty out the septic before replacement. Emptying and full replacement with a better pump for $3475 The owner is fantastic. SOS originally thought the whole job would be several hours. But the men who came to replace it took an hour. As a result SOS reduced the total cost to reflect the adjusted time it took to complete the replacement. This service call is one of many as I've called Hope Plumbing for a few years now! Michael called ahead to let me know that he would be arriving in 30 minutes and was. I took him to my basement where I thought the issue was and come to find out that it was something totally different, a leaking hot water heater. That was something I hadn't expected at all! He also checked the gage that's located in the ground with the water meter! He show me the gage was going practically nonstop which means there's a leak! So hopefully it's just the installation of a new water heater! I have had nothing but bad experiences with the plumbing services provided by Hope Plumbing during the past year. At first, I was impressed by the customer service response. But over time that appreciation has also diminished. I hired Hope to determine the source of a leak into my basement. I told them I thought it was coming from the shower on our first floor. But I was told that the problem was the pipes that needed to be replaced. There were multiple problems with the pipe installation, which customer service assisted with. But when it became clear the leak hadn't been addressed I asked for a plumber to come back and reassess the issue and was told that it was a leak from the shower after all. Not only that, but it wasn't something they could fix. I sent a query about the incident asking to be compensated for replacing pipes that didn't solve the problem I had requested be addressed. I have not heard back despite multiple emails and messages. I have many issues with my experience, but here is one I especially want to share. Beware if you have an older house. Contractors, and definitely Hope Plumbing, use it as the eternal excuse for mistakes they make. When the plumber was here last week telling me it was the shower not the pipes, he quickly added, "But the pipes were old." As I told him, they might be old but replacing them didn't solve the problem I hired them for. If I had unlimited resources, I would replace all sorts of things in my "old house." But, in lieu of that, I need contractors, like Hope Plumbing, that say they specialize in older homes, to fix the problem not tell me how old my house is! So much for Hope Plumbing. read more

They charge $300 an hour for labor and literally were charging us $1300 for a garbage disposal replacement that you can easily Google and see it should be $200-$600. They wouldn't even go down below $600. Unwilling to give you detailed invoice. The guy was super friendly super nice, but just literally so expensive for no reason. They show you on a little iPhone the price and no break down of the labor or cost of parts. Save yourself a headache and don't use them. read more

I was a client of Action Air for years and paid for the same service from Hope. I had a service check-up scheduled (which is in the agreement that I paid to be a part of) for a Friday. I waited at home for the phone call that a service person would be coming in 30-45 minutes. My time slot passed and I was told that they couldn't get to me today, I would have to reschedule. I rescheduled for today, Monday, between 12 and 2:24. So, I made certain I was home, waiting for the call saying the service person was on his way. It is now 5:45, I've waited all afternoon, called several times and still no service person. Now when I get "the call" I'm told the serviceman is 30 to 45 minutes away. So I will have waited at least 6hours for servicing I paid for (renewed) a month, at least, ago. This never happened with Action Air. Was sold a 5K install to redo piping on the incoming lines of my home. They also sold me a water softener and iron filter both of those products works great however the craftsmanship you pay for is not worth the ROI. The pipe that was installed leaked within a week and then continued to have leaking issues without even making it a few months. (They were willing to fix this issue under warranty but you're hiring a professional and they can't get a basic install done right?) I cannot recommend enough to save your money and hire a handyman who's going to cut their cost in half and provide the same quality if not better. read more

First off, it was so easy to schedule an appointment with Hope Plumbing. I'm very busy, and scheduling online was so easy. Austin came out and did a great job. He was patient, kind, thorough, knowledgeable, understanding, AND our black lab pitbull Temple couldn't get enough of him (and vice versa). Austin was in and out in no time at all. I schedule the appointment to do some preventative work with some things I was starting to notice BEFORE they became a problem. UPDATE and bottom of post ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The absolute worst experience I have EVER had with a plumber. I feel I was ripped off for $400. Let me explain. So I bought a water softener. I bought the same manufacturer so that the new one would line up with the pipes. My old one was old and I could tell it wasn't working as it should, it was about 20 years old. I hooked the new one up and turned the water back on and noticed that I noticed that the pressure in my kitchen sink was really low. The same with other faucets in the house. I pushed the bypass valve and nothing changed. I even put the old bypass valve on and nothing changed. I shut the water off and called Roby's. Roby's is now Hope. I told them I would like some one to hook up my water softener because I thought I was doing something wrong. Turns out, I wasn't doing anything wrong. When they got to my home I told him everything and he said that they would charge $1500 to hook up my softener. I said "No". I said how much to get me going today even with hard water? He said $400. I said Ok. He then cut my copper pipes that lines up with my softener and built me a new bypass valve out of plastic I think it is called PEX? Anyway, I already had 2 other bypass valves and now I have another. When he was done we tried the water. Still no pressure in the sink but plenty at the pump according to the gauge. Evidently after I installed the water softener, some sediment broke lose and I need to replace all my faucets. That part was NOT his fault. It happens. Here is where I am pissed. When you see that a pump has plenty of pressure and see 2 other bypass valves appear not to be working, and one was new, Wouldn't you start looking for another problem? Why would you start cutting pipes and build another bypass valve that still didn't take care of the problem? That's like a car having a dead battery and you start by changing the engine. This is why I called a "Professional" I am not only no better off than I was before they came, but I am actually worse off because I couldn't hook up my water softener now because the pipes don't line up. I bought the new softener because it has a sediment filter built in. He told me that I should install another sediment filter and I asked him how much....over $1200. I asked how much to replace the kitchen faucet, he said $600 plus some extra parts for a hundred or two. $700 to possibly $800 dollars to replace one kitchen sink faucet? I'll go to Lowe's. Their installers charge a lot less. One more thing, I noticed that he walked around the house and got pictures of my breaker box, my furnace, and my hot water heater. I felt violated. That is just creepy. He didn't even ask. Those are things that had nothing to do with the call. So what did I really get for $400? I rarely get ripped off because I usually do my homework and understand the process better. I don't have a lot of time because my wife is disabled and on dialysis and I take care of everything now. In the end it's gonna cost me more. He saw me coming. I hate it that Roby's isn't here anymore. A lot of people in this area used them. One thing is for sure, I won't be calling this place again. Enjoy that $400 because it is the last you will get out of me. If this is the service they give, they won't be around this area long. Don't EVER call this place I had another company come out and I researched them first. They took out all the garbage that Hope did and fixed everything for a VERY reasonable price. In the midst of all this snow and these dangerous cold temperatures, I had a water pipe freeze. I panicked. I was nearly in tears. Knowing nothing about plumbing I thought my house would be ruined when the pipes burst. I called. Hope plumbing they got somebody over within an hour and a half. Not thrilled with this outfit. I called for an estimate on trenching a new electrical feeder from the pole to an existing 200A panel that was temporarily fed by the old 60A overhead service. The guys didn't seem personable or enthusiastic, and frankly that's not terribly important, but when they gave me the estimate it didn't include the trenching at all. Well, I know enough about this to know that 120' of trench is going to be a large part of the project. They brushed it off when I questioned them and said they could have a "sub" do that, but they would have to come out for a separate estimate and avoided them (their OWN sub) because they were "too picky". Sorry guys, I want people who are picky! Well, that's just BS. I asked the main guy previously if this was a turnkey operation and he gave me kind of a blank stare, and when I explained what that meant, he was "Oh yeah, sure, sure!" Well, leaving the trenching off the bid entirely is pretty much the opposite of turnkey. The final straw was when the other guy wanted to take pictures of the furnace and water-heater so they can no doubt start pestering me about those. Well, screw that. They were there for electrical and nothing else, not to get their hooks in me for every utility appliance in the whole freaking house. Dirty. That same guy started bad-mouthing the people who've been maintaining my furnace for 20 years, and these jokers have been there 30 minutes. I knew immediately, that although their estimate was a bit lower than other bids I've gotten, they'd force me into some "club" (cult?) and constantly be trying to sell me something. They also seemed a little clueless on points that, even as an amateur, I knew. They stood zero chance of letting them touch my 105 year old house. read more

We came home from a vacation at 5:30 pm last week. I walked into the house and it did not feel like the 68 degrees like I left the thermostat on. The house was down to 52 and it was 9 degrees outside. The furnace was not working. I called Hope Plumbing and Sarah answered the phone and said she could get someone out soon. Mike Heisserer came around 7:00pm and after 15 minutes of looking at the furnace, said he knew what the problem was. He had to pick up parts but could fix it that evening. He explained everything in detail of what the problem was and how it happened due to lack of inspection maintenance and neglect from the last company I had for two years. By 10:30pm we had heat back operating and Mike Heisserer from Hope Heating was the hero. We have had freezing problems causing no hot water from our Navien tankless the last 3 years. I called Hope and requested their top Navien expert who is Brian. I showed him a picture I took of the exhaust on the roof with an icycle and he said instantly I know what caused it and told me the solution was to get rid of the screen. Even when I called Navien customer service they never mentioned this solution. I am quite confident Brian's solution is better than the "experts." He explained it clearly and patiently answered all my questions. That is a big plus with Hope in that I never feel they are in a hurry, but take their time to make sure we are comfortable with the issue. We are so grateful for Brian!!! read more

This is my sink. Hope failed to unclog. They made me sign for work and pay $280 . They tried to up sell me a service for $2000 To unclog. And the topper, they had me waiting from 8:30 - 4p for technician. When he arrived he hurried the job ( i had stated I needed to get to work) while he continously sighed like he was upset and didn't want to do the job. He left after 30mins stating " too bad" it didn't work, but you still owe $280. They areca scam, their commercials tout customer service, affordable and reliable. None of the above. We will never use Hope Plumbing again. We've had several large repairs done by them and the most costly one of all left our basement with no drainage, so every time it rains we are under water and have to move the water out ourselves. We also had them replumb our entire house - not cheap - and they plumbed 'around' our on demand hot water heater, stating that "it didn't work anyway." I spent $14k on an HVAC system August of 2025. Since then they have had to come out 5 times for problems with the system. Three times because there were problems with the wiring that they had done. This is the statement from each of the three different technicians who came out that stated that the wiring was done incorrectly by the previous technician. First there was no heat then there was no air conditioning . Once those issues were fixed then during the time when the heat came and it was hot outside the system humidity water backed up into the cooling unit and water leaked all over the floor. A technician came out and said the fix was simple then left. The next heat wave the system leaked again this time the technician came back out a different one, and stated that the there was a broken part. They then said they would be out the next day with the part 2 days later still have heard nothing from them I finally called them and they stated that it would be 7 to 10 days before the part could be located. I have not received any communications from them at all since then. Very dissatisfied with the level of service from this company and I would recommend never using this company ever again. read more

Do not use Hope Plumbing. Their prices are outrageous. We were charged over $1,000 to replace a leaky outdoor spigot and install an inside access panel with shutoff valve. It took less than two hours, including time to go get parts and come back. Even $500 would be too high, but $1,000 should be criminal. I tried to speak with a manager or owner afterwards regarding the high price. Nobody ever called me back. Never again. read more
