Hoppin' opened up at Markley Place along with Urban Wren and Todaro. At first I thought Hoppin' was just another spin off of Pour Taproom but it's definitely a step up. I love the decor and ambiance so much more. It's very spacious with indoor and outdoor seating as well as a back room with more taps. There's also an upstairs area too which has not opened yet and we're excited for some rooftop views! The concept is still the same as Pour Taproom. You get a wrist band, tap the beer/wine that you want and pour as much volume as you like. Pay by the ounce and the wrist band is basically your tab.

This place was amazing & huge!! Very clean, spacious & nicely decorated. There were at least 30 beers, 5-10 cocktails, wine, seltzers & ciders on tap. You get a wrist ban that activates all of the self pour stations. You can tap on the screen to see what is in each drink and get the price per ounce. Be careful though because it all pours fast and can add up quick. There is a large rooftop area with more bathrooms and pour stations. The staff was very informative & friendly. I wish ATL had a place like this.

Been here twice and love it! I live in south Florida but have family that lives in Greenville and this is a spot I would love to go each time. The concept is great and I like how you can try a bit and not waste too much money if you don't like it. They have a good variety of all type of beers, cider, and wine . Location has two floor and outdoor seating . Great hangout spot and they have games too! 10/10

This place was super cute and super fun. We're from California and though we do have some self serve places like this here, this was our whole groups first time trying something like this. It was really fun and the gentleman working (maybe the owner?) was great. He was seriously fun and a good sport. We would have indulged more but this may have Been our second stop... we may have been a little buzzed already... and we may have been starving. The area was also nice, but unfortunately the nearby food was closed.

We came to Greenville for a getaway away from Florida and stopped by Hoppin, disappointed by what can only be described as poor customer service. Upon entry, there was no one at the counter to greet guests. No one came as we waited for someone to assist us into the establishment. We sat at the front for over 10 minutes, then walked into the main lobby, hoping to find someone who worked there--no one insight. Ironically, at the front desk there is a sign that states "quick and fast entry." That was a lie! What a joke of a place.

We attended a comedy show here. Amazing beer selection. There is something to drink for everyone. The system is simple to setup and use. Partnership with the oizzeria next door. Quick checkout and ample parking make this place a must.

Moved to Greenville about 7 months ago and live right next to this place. They are dog friendly on so my dog and I always stop by for a quick beer or two. The manager Mark is SO friendly and wants the best for his customers :) love this place and 10/10 would recommend!

WELL Fireforge proved me wrong and set themselves apart. We had the pickle platter, Reuben, and studio fifty forge. Although I'm not big on Reuben's my boyfriend said it was one of his top Reuben's and that man orders Reuben's on the regular. The pickle party was delicious. Not sure what they have in their brine but I would purchase again and again. The studio fifty forge was delicious. The only thing I would change is real bacon and not the microwaveable. Even though it was the microwave bacon it was still heated to be crispy. Huge beer selections and friendly staff. PLENTY of outdoor and indoor seating. Parking validation is also available. It might be had to find parking during busier times, but would still go again and recommend to others.

I started with a Straffe Hendrik Quad, which was chefs kiss. It was a yummy treat to start the meal off with and be transported into being in Belgium. Not pictured was the charcuterie board and Brie appetizers that were all split and devoured. What was documented was the roasted duck breast with potatoes and asparagus. The duck was roasted perfectly with the skin, crispy for the texture and seasoned divinely. Yall the potatoes were crispy on the outside, well fluffy like little clouds inside, and had a punch of flavor. The asparagus was rich with a butter and lemon note. If a plate could sing! Zero notes. 10/10. My only draw back was I needed a pillow after the meal. Stuffed was I.

The nautical theme and decor throughout the space was a great touch--anchors, ropes, and deep-sea tones gave it a quirky, seafaring charm that made the experience feel more curated and intentional. There were a few groups hanging out when we arrived, and while it wasn't packed, there was only one bartender working, so we waited about five minutes to be helped--not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of. We each ordered a flight, and here's what I tried: Sic'em Sour - sour ale with peach and cherry Italian ice Sour Blueberry Lime - sour ale with blueberry and lime Chonk: Banana Split - sour ale with banana, strawberry, chocolate, and lactose Strawberry Shortshake - milkshake IPA with strawberry and vanilla And then, on a whim, I also grabbed a pour of: Maple Banger - imperial stout infused with maple syrup and toasted maple wood I finished them all, but a few truly left an impression. The Chonk was indulgent and playful--like drinking dessert--with that banana split profile hitting every note just right. The Sic'em Sour was a fruity explosion, sharp and refreshing, like someone blended summer and poured it in a glass. And just when I thought I was done, the Maple Banger hit me like a warm hug from a Canadian lumberjack. Rich, velvety, and layered with real maple goodness--I could've had endless glasses of that one. Hands down a personal favorite. Two flights and a couple of cans came to around $30, which felt totally fair for the experience and the quality. Overall, The Whale is a fun, flavorful stop for beer lovers, especially if you enjoy exploring different styles. Not every brew was a hit, but the vibe was awesome, the décor was unique, and a few of those beers? Truly memorable. I'd definitely stop by again next time I'm in Greenville.

Right by Fluor Field with a fun, lively vibe. We sat outside, which was clean, comfortable, and a great spot to hang out before an event. Service was fantastic. David, our server, was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, and really helped elevate the experience. For food, we started with the wings (dry rub and Jamaican jerk). The flavors were decent, but the wings themselves were rubbery and a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price point. One standout though... the ranch dressing. Easily some of the best I've had. The breakfast tacos were good overall, and the chimichurri was fresh and flavorful. I think adding a creamy component would have taken them up another level. The sweet potato fries were fantastic. The chicken and biscuit was decent. The Nashville-style chicken had good flavor, but the tenders were on the smaller side, making the portion feel a bit lacking. The biscuit itself was solid. The tallow fries were also well done, and the Lefty's sauce was a nice addition. One unique touch at the end. You're given the option to send a postcard, and they handle the postage and mailing for you. A really fun and memorable detail. Overall, a good spot with great service and atmosphere, though some of the food execution and portion sizes could be improved.
