Such a cool and fun place! I came here with friends this past weekend. I hadn't been to a bar like this before, and I really liked it! You get an armband that is linked to your credit card when you come in, and you serve yourself at the multiple taps around the bar. The space is great. There are games to play and a nice covered rooftop, where we wound up sitting. They also have a lot of neat artwork that really contributes to the atmosphere. Definitely a place I'd recommend going with friends. Also, you can bring in outside food and order pizza from the restaurant next door. read more

Hoppin' opened up at Markley Place along with Urban Wren and Todaro. At first I thought Hoppin' was just another spin off of Pour Taproom but it's definitely a step up. I love the decor and ambiance so much more. It's very spacious with indoor and outdoor seating as well as a back room with more taps. There's also an upstairs area too which has not opened yet and we're excited for some rooftop views! The concept is still the same as Pour Taproom. You get a wrist band, tap the beer/wine that you want and pour as much volume as you like. Pay by the ounce and the wrist band is basically your tab. read more

This place was amazing & huge!! Very clean, spacious & nicely decorated. There were at least 30 beers, 5-10 cocktails, wine, seltzers & ciders on tap. You get a wrist ban that activates all of the self pour stations. You can tap on the screen to see what is in each drink and get the price per ounce. Be careful though because it all pours fast and can add up quick. There is a large rooftop area with more bathrooms and pour stations. The staff was very informative & friendly. Been here twice and love it! I live in south Florida but have family that lives in Greenville and this is a spot I would love to go each time. The concept is great and I like how you can try a bit and not waste too much money if you don't like it. They have a good variety of all type of beers, cider, and wine . This place was super cute and super fun. We're from California and though we do have some self serve places like this here, this was our whole groups first time trying something like this. It was really fun and the gentleman working (maybe the owner?) was great. He was seriously fun and a good sport. We would have indulged more but this may have Been our second stop... we may have been a little buzzed already... and we may have been starving. We came to Greenville for a getaway away from Florida and stopped by Hoppin, disappointed by what can only be described as poor customer service. Upon entry, there was no one at the counter to greet guests. No one came as we waited for someone to assist us into the establishment. We sat at the front for over 10 minutes, then walked into the main lobby, hoping to find someone who worked there--no one insight. Ironically, at the front desk there is a sign that states "quick and fast entry." That was a lie! What a joke of a place. read more

I went with my 61 year old father, the initial lady at the counter was nice, but after spending around $50 on DRINKS alone, we were informed there was a 20% forced gratuities (tip) charge. We poured our own drinks, got our own glasses, and cleaned up after ourselves. This place has also lost their view to an assisted living facility. Their game tables are beat up and damaged from years of abuse. There is no reason to charge this much. Just hit the QT that's literally a 30 second walk if you want alcohol. Just ~1 year ago I would've highly recommended this place, but now I would excessively avoid it. read more

Moved to Greenville about 7 months ago and live right next to this place. They are dog friendly on so my dog and I always stop by for a quick beer or two. The manager Mark is SO friendly and wants the best for his customers :) love this place and 10/10 would recommend! read more

I am not sure why this place is so highly rated. I live close by and wish I enjoyed it as much as others. The layout is pretty nice and the staff is friendly. That is about where my good experience ends. The beer selection is not that great. I believe Mac's has a better selection. It is pretty expensive, and I understand some of that. To be able to buy by the ounce does deserve some premium, but that premium is pretty high. My biggest complaint is that the taps are terrible. Getting them to register the arm band usually takes a few tries. Then they spit out a lot of foam. I think most of their taps are way over pressured. When you are paying a premium for each ounce, you want it to be more than just foam. I like Pour and I like the concept. I hope that they can fix some of these issues. It would be a very convenient place for me to grab a beer. read more

Nice place. Great beer choices. We were impressed until we found out there was a hidden 20% service charge automatically added to the bill which wasn't explained to us on the first visit so when the screen was flipped around for our signature we included a tip. This added $10 to our bill for no food and self serving ourselves the beer. Additionally, they don't provide receipts or take cash. Our second visit is when we were alerted that the service charge was automatic so we didn't tip. Unfortunately for Hoppin, we do not plan on going back. This business is getting ready to celebrate their 4 year anniversary. I wonder when they started including the 20% service fee because I cannot see that they will survive another 4 years if they continue. read more

Sooo...I have been to a pay per oz spot before and think it's super gimmicky. I fell for the gimmick, but I still recognize it. Walked through with no staff help just to see the selection. The view at the rooftop is the moneymaker. Ordered the pizza next door and they brought it up to me at the rooftop. TAlked to an employee to remember how to pay and drink. You end up with a wristband. Sat on the roof with no crowd and ate my pizza and sangría and enjoyed it all! Caught their Happy hour with like 20% discount by accident and the red sangria is great!! Not five because I don't know the vibe when it's crowded and I feel like you need to know that for a spot like this. But I would return without hesitating. read more

My husband and I have been here twice. It's a really cool spot and we enjoy all of the selections and self serve style. To open tabs at certain places, we give a credit card but always pay cash in the end. Only problem is the second time we visited, we were told that they no longer accept cash. We will not be back to support a business that does not accept legal tender. They'll accept credit and pay on those transactions, but won't take cash? It's absolutely insane. read more

They were randomly out of a lot of the beers when we went but the cocktails (which I was there for were stocked and delicious). The beer also pours a lot of foam but one of the waitresses noticed a foamy beer on our table and repoured it for no charge. The place itself is a good space and I could see it being fun during a Greenville Drive game! The pizza they serve next door was a bonus and they bring it right to you (but you have to walk over there and order so be sure to order before pouring yourself a drink). read more

Tried this place for the first time today, and loved it! Great selection of self-serve alcohol. My husband loved the beers, and they had enough sours and tart ciders for me! Wine too, if that's your thing. Plus Urban Wren is right next door, and so is Todaro's pizza, and you can order pizza and eat it here! Also dart boards and Golden Tee in the back, and cornhole for outside. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and they have good protocols set up for COVID safety. Loved Hoppin' We were in Greenville and had a bunch of places on our list but Hoppin' wasn't on the list. We decided to stop there after getting lost on a walk. So glad we did, we had the best time. Wow. Horrible. Way overpriced for somewhere where you have to serve your own beer! $9.00 per draft and they are definitely not cold enough. We though it might be worth it for the rooftop seating area. So, we went and sat on the rooftop to enjoy the view. 2 minutes later a few adults with a bunch of screaming 5 year olds showed up and ruined the whole experience. I thought this was a bar, not a playground. We will NEVERNEVER return. read more

Great spot, location and atmosphere along Markley Street. However, it's ridiculously expensive. I have gone a few times and thought maybe it was a fluke (type of beer, etc.) but I went last night for a session IPA (4.5% ABV) tiny taste sample and a pint and my total was $10! For one beer. Until they figure out prices, I'll be hitting Pour. read more

We sat outside, which was clean, comfortable, and a great spot to hang out before an event. Service was fantastic. David, our server, was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, and really helped elevate the experience. For food, we started with the wings (dry rub and Jamaican jerk). The flavors were decent, but the wings themselves were rubbery and a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price point. One standout though... the ranch dressing. Easily some of the best I've had. The breakfast tacos were good overall, and the chimichurri was fresh and flavorful. I think adding a creamy component would have taken them up another level. The sweet potato fries were fantastic. The chicken and biscuit was decent. The Nashville-style chicken had good flavor, but the tenders were on the smaller side, making the portion feel a bit lacking. The biscuit itself was solid. The tallow fries were also well done, and the Lefty's sauce was a nice addition. One unique touch at the end. You're given the option to send a postcard, and they handle the postage and mailing for you. A really fun and memorable detail. Overall, a good spot with great service and atmosphere, though some of the food execution and portion sizes could be improved.

There's one person having a very loud meeting on their computer. I asked for the wi-fi password and she informed me that I had to buy something first. Ok, I guess that's fair. No problem, no complaint, not comment. I was going to wait for my friend before ordering, so I sat down to use my phone's hotspot. About 5 minutes later the same woman came over to hassle me because I had bought my own water in. I asked her if I had done something to offend her? She said I was "on her radar." I've no idea why she was targeting me. I literally did nothing to anyone, minding my own business. When my friend arrived, they spoke well of the coffee, so there's that. It's the prejudice that got me.

The 864 was a THICK sandwich and flavorful with the perfect outside crisp/crunch with juicy moist meat internally. No complaints at all. We will be back!
